It looks as the vegetables were sitting there for a while because the cherry tomatos looked very tierd and the lettuce already changed it's color at some corners (some of it, not all) but i think that in all their branches the vegetables are precut hours before it's served. The pizza or better said focaccia with tomato sauce and cheese was actualy good. In a good day they would probebly get 4 stars, today i'm feeling generous and it's still 3 stars...

Ceasar salad was very basic without chicken. Pizza was one of the worst i had ever (crunky bread and some toppings)

We ordered a pinsa (??) and a risotto. You have to pick the food up yourself at different lines. The risotto line was crowded and the pinsa line was empty. So the pinsa was ready when the risotto wasn’t. So you can’t eat together. They describe the pinsa as better than pizza. This is definitely not true. It’s a ready made base which is topped at the restaurant. The description “better than a supermarket pizza” would be better. The pinsa just makes that true. It’s not bad but I prefer a regular pizza. (I’m not familiar with the vapiano pizza. Maybe they mean that the pinsa is better than their pizza). My last point, some of the crew members are not friendly and just do there job. The guy at the cash register and the girl who picks up the plates are the positive exceptions. They are really helpful. Before I forget I don’t like the idea of the vapiano card and the scissors couldn’t cut the pinsa. So vapiano Wuppertal you have a lot to improve. But it’s not impossible.

Found this gem of a place very late at night as it was the only place open around the area, close to Holiday Inn Express. It’s a self-service restaurant, meaning you get a card as you walk in the door, take it to each stations you order from, and bring it back to the till when you leave to pay your bill- it’s very easy. The food is excellent here, cooked fresh to your order and delicious. So many pasta and pizza options to choose from with a selection of fresh herbs on every table. The chocolate desert was mouth wateringly good too! 🤤 This restaurant can cater for large numbers as it’s quite spacious. It is a chain and can be found around Germany. I’m looking forward to eating in it again!! Serves alcoholic drinks.
