Excellent city to visit and walk the historic streets. The knife museum is also a must visit.

Quite big blade museum, which focuses most on...well...blades. Solingen has quite the history in blade manufacturing, be it swords or just simple knives. The collection is impressive and covers different eras from the past. The staff was really polite. Highly recommended!

Very interesting and unique collection of knives, swords, blades & other cutting tools, as well as silverware, clippers etc. from bronce age to present. A very nice activity to enjoy while in Wuppertal. The surrounding neighborhood is very beautiful, as well. Entrance is very affordable with discounts for families, students and large groups.

Its a nice museum, ab it small but that did not bother me to much. One issue I had was a strong focus on cutlery. (there are still plenty of knifes and swords). Staff was friendly and prices where affordable 4 euro standard adult. And 2 for students.

I am the Bamboopreneur and there is nothing that gives me more joy to find your material in such a historic place. I resume is cemented. Bamboo is the steel of the future.

Nice museum on the history of knives and similar sharp instruments.. not much in English but they do sell a guide in English . Would have liked to understand more about how and why Solingen is (was) the centre for this industry.

Very interesting bit of history. The man at the counter was very helpful when I purchased several nice items from the gift shop.

This is an amazing museum, with blades, daggers, rapiers through out the ages available to view and appreciate. Knowledge of German is required.

Very interesting local specialist museum on the internationally important metal working industry, particularly blades, swords and cutlery. Some beautiful and sometimes surprising examples. Museum is very reasonably priced, labels are in German and English.

Great museum, lots of swords and tableware. Just a shame that everything is in german. They don't really have a giftshop either or a restaurant.

Wonderful exhibition of all things sharp and pointy, mostly from Germany but also from far-flung parts of the world.

Nice place to visit around Solingen. One of the places why Solingen was named after Klingen Stadt

I have never seen so many swords in one place, nor such a great variety! Will definitely go back once my German is better.

In you are somehow in design and history - it’s obviously place to be. I would not say it’s a huge one, but perfectly structured museum with millions of magnificent details in collection.
