Cared for and run by volunteers and lovingly furnished, it tells the story of Niederberg. And it's good. Let yourself be surprised.

Beautiful museum with friendly and committed staff. A very interesting tour and a classic Bergisch coffee table make a visit an experience.

(Translated by Google) The museum carries itself and does not get any money from the city. The employees work voluntarily, as it seems to be common here in the circle :-(. Besides the interesting exhibition, which can be visited for a donation, There is also the possibility to marry there or to celebrate a party. One option is the Bergische Kaffeetafel. However, I would not classify this offer as cheap. Many people like it ... Who comes from the area, should have been there at least once.

Great museum that is mostly run by volunteers. I was here as a child and have been here as an adult with my children. There is also the option to book a Bergisch coffee table where you can experience authentic coffee drinking with Dröppelminna in a beautiful room. In the exhibition you can find out everything about life in the Bergisches Land at that time. The museum also exhibits fossils that were found during local lime mining.

Always nice and led by a team with an incredible amount of commitment and probably also on a voluntary basis.. All attention ! I always enjoy coming there. A walk in the immediate area around the Abtskuecher Teich is also absolutely worth it. There is also a farmer's café with excellent cakes directly opposite... what more could you want for a successful trip

A nice little museum about the contemporary history of lime mining. Lovingly run by volunteers. Financed through donations and membership in the sponsoring association. Among other things, Bergisch coffee drinking is also offered. You can also get married there. Free entry, by the way. It's worth a visit.

I had no idea what a lovingly designed collection and exhibition there was in this museum. I was particularly impressed by the mineral collection of pieces and specimens from our region. The story about limestone mining was just as interesting.

The opening times can be found on the internet; by arrangement, celebrations can also be booked there outside of opening hours. You can even get married on the premises of the local museum. Information about this can be found at the Wülfrath registry office. Highly recommended is the famous Bergische Kaffetafel, which must be booked in advance.

Well structured regional history museum with plenty information and exhibits. Some multimedia presentations add to the experience and even smaller kids can enjoy this self financed museum. Twice in a week one can participate in the traditional coffee table (Bergische Kaffeetafel). And a regional dialect group is meeting there welcoming guests (advanced German language skills recommended).

(Translated by Google) Gem in the middle of the residential district. We wish all the more dedicated visitors to the dedicated volunteers who run the whole business! So, book a coffee table and stroll through the lovingly put together exhibition!

The Bergische Kaffeetafel in the Niederbergisches Museum is highly recommended. Not only because it is extremely tasty and lovingly prepared, but especially because of the commitment of the volunteers accompanying the historical lecture and the friendly tour of the museum.
