Excellent place to bike around. Had explored this area. I highly recommend this. Some of the parts of this place are Kinderwagen friendly. So, good to go out with kids as well. There is a little creek that goes along where kids could possibly have fun.

Beautiful area, expect to walk on inclines of at least 15°

Gorgeous area, many different trails hiking, a good place for 1 or 2 day mini adventure in the nature - there is a paved road and a forest path, all available, good maps are at the parking lot. A few drive minutes away there are 3 other note-worthy places - Cathedral and a Fairytale forest (perfect for kids of primary school age). Greenery is amazing, variety of old solid trees and quite clean. So with some preliminary organisation, I would say it's a nice weekend/long weekend local family destination.

Lovely nature, easy hiking through the forest mainly, Weihnachtsmarkt less touristy and provided good local food and gluehwein

Such a wonderful and beautiful place to go for a long walk. We enjoyed an 11KM trek here today.
