This is a wonderful historical place in Dusseldorf. The area is very well preserved and completely immersed in nature. The building is in a park by the Rhine. I recommend it for traveling with your family.

Nice historic place to visit. Here you can get some information about this place in german & english. You can get a nice view of the river, and can also take a nice walk alongside the river. There are some nice cafes nearby. Kasierwerth town is at walking distance from this place.

Interesting place to visit with some fascinating history. You should combine this with a bike ride or a walk along the river. Also if you go to the museum you can see how the castle and town used to be, so well worth heading there after the castle.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful castle ruins directly on the Rhine in the Kaiserswerth district of Düsseldorf. A nice place for the little ones to play. A castle can be conquered here. The location on the Rhine and the tranquil Kaiserswerth invite you to take a walk. Free entry. Open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For those interested in history: The Palatinate dates back to a monastery founded by the monk Suitbert around 700. In 1174, Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa moved the Rhine toll from the Dutch city of Tiel to Kaiserswerth. For this purpose he had Kaiserswerth expanded into a mighty fortress.

Former castle/palace that was demolished during a siege back in the 18th century. Not much of it remains, but the panels are quite informative in both German and English. It can also offer a great view of the Rhine River.

It is a great historical site dating back to 7th century and then it was later named to Kaiserwerth instead of Werth in 1100. Even though the palace is in ruins, it's still evident of the beauty from the old times. The location is also quite scenic and you can see the Rhine River in the backdrop of this place. Do visit this place and spend the time walking in the surrounding areas, a really beautiful place ♥️

These are the ruins of the imperial castle in Kaiserswerth, of course there is not much left of it, but if you mentally complete it, the scale and grandeur will really impress. Huge massive walls of huge boulders. A truly powerful structure, especially considering that it is more than 1000 years old.

Seems like a very nice place to explore, unfortunately it was closed and no information about the closing had been said on the reviews. But will definitely re-visit it again. Will recommend people to go a couple of months before 31st October as that's what it says on the board.

Really fantastic place when you in Düsseldorf visit one time. This is a good place to take a walk with family and friends. Spacious parks and old buildings are together so you can have a good time with good people. If you have a bicycle, it is recommended to ride across the river and ride across the river. A beautiful walk on the riverside, next to the Kaiserpfalz ruins. Then walking on the pebbles' beach alongside the Rhine. A memorable walk even on a Rainy and super experience.
