Good simple hotel for a city trip. Great location right downtown, but is therefore a little noisy in the evening/night.

Basic hotel with good sized rooms and very good breakfast

The Arcade Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff was thorough, friendly and had good information when we had any questions. The rooms were very comfortable with a lot of space. We had the best breakfast each morning. Plenty of meats, cheeses, yogurt, juice, fruit, bread, and much more! We will definitely stay again!

Very good place to stay. It's located centrally, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is just phenomenal! The breakfast options are endless, it's all super fresh, many things are homemade; there are several freshly pressed juices, tens of different jams and chocolates, different sliced meats; eggs, sausages and bacon, croissants, various nice breads and bread rolls, tens of types of muesli; in summary one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. I typically get fed up with having to eat the same stuff at hotels after two days, but could have easily survived a week there!

I adore that little hotel! I find everything nice there - it is cosy, it is comfortable, it is clean, it has a friendly and competent staff, it offers great breakfast and the location is ideal. Honestly, I am a bit hesitant to share the review. The more people know about it, the less likely it is I find a room for myself next time when I need it ;). Thank you, guys, for the great service! My wife and I have stayed at the Arcade Hotel on three different trips. Charming hotel in the middle of Wuppertal. Convenient to the main train station and monorail. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent, generous breakfast.

I am very satisfied. Friendly people, rooms very clean, breakfast excellent. You get everything: WiFi, free calling in Germany and some countries. Windows quite small and complicated parking.

Good and small hotel very well located in Wuppertal. Service is limited to a small bar at the front desk. People is receptive and promptly to help. Rooms are not big but ok and very clean.

We stayed here for one night at the end of January on a visit to the theatre in Wuppertal. We'd chosen it for it's closeness to the Schwebebahn (suspended railway). Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was on the 4th floor near the loft but was quite small and there was no bath or kettle, something we always hope for. But it was clean and warm. We had come by car and couldn't park next to the hotel and die to roadworks our chosen car park was impossible to find, obviously not the hotel's fault. The highpoint of the stay was the breakfast which was excellent especially at was included in the quite reasonable price. First time I've had the option of real honeycomb with a breakfast. The staff were very attentive. It would have been good if there had been a bar for something on the evening as we stayed over a Sunday night and the centre was pretty dead and everything seemed to be closed. We'd happily stay again but with better planning in advance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast is plentiful and pleasingly arranged. Services like coffee-to-go, decaffeinated beverage and gluten free bread on demand are a plus. Located at a walking distance from the main station and the city center.

Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city centre

A nice hotel in the city center. The rooms were very clean. The staff spoke very good English and were friendly. They upgraded our booking to a family suite, which was really Kool. Breakfast was nice with a lot of varieties. Timing was much longer than usual starting at 7 in the morning to 11am on the weekends. A small catch is the water bottles were not complementary and charged 2 euro each. They have a note written but it's very easy to miss it. Definitely a recommended place for a night or two for easy access to everything.

The reception staff is unfriendly and not attentive to customers, unlike the breakfast team.

Very good service, clean and quiet.
