What a great airport! Flying on Lot Airlines to Tirana on a Wednesday morning, we took a Bolt to the airport, arriving two hours before our flight. Check-in went quickly and smoothly. Lot even has a kid area by check in. Security was a breeze, especially with a section for families only. Once through, there are lots of shops and cafes. Passport control was near the N gates and was easy to go through. The airport is clean, has kid areas, and fun things to look at.

Airport itself is pretty neat, but the security staff was very arrogant, i felt like i was searched by ss troops on a power trip. And whats up with the metal chairs, are we suppose to sit on them? Its probably so that people would visit airports bars and restaurants right? Sounds pretty heartless, why dont you add spikes also... Its much warmer to sit on a floor than on those cold benches. Learn from qatar airport, they treat guests normally and have nice benches.

Hi. I was flying with LOT today 09.01.22 from Lviv to Zurich and the transfer area in WAW airport was a mess and a disgusting nightmare!!! How can you operate like this? It took more than 2 hours to pass the queue and security check. Barely made it to connecting flight. Only 4 border control booths working. None of the automated passport checkpoint machines operational. Four officers on customs screening handing one or two trays at a time!!! Arrogant and disrespectful border personnel. Thousands waiting cramped together in CoVid times!!!! Never ever I pick LOT to fly via WAW! Shame on you guys! Is this some sort of an Italian strike? What‘s the point?

Very organized and large airport. Passport control was required to press on to final destination. Lots of duty free stores. Security did not appear too busy when walking by. The entire airport is easily quiet.

Main gateway to Norway. Nice airport in nordic style. Very good connection to the city or around by trains and buses.Frequent domestic flights to many parts of Norway even to Svalbard.

This is one of the main airports I fly to and it's always the same, when arriving they keep the bus door open for way too long. Most of the staff is nice but the other half is very grumpy and dull so that it really makes the place dull itself. Good thing is that there are 2 massive car parks and bus/train links. Sadly this airport won't expand any further as it is literally surrounded with houses and block of flats. It is very close to some places but as I said it won't expand.

My son flew by himself today from Warsaw to Dubai. Many thanks to the airport staff. Excellent service by Mikolaj at Emirates Airline check-in. Very attentive and polite service. The girl who accompanied my son on board the aircraft was very attentive. We were not allowed to take a pool cue, it was returned to me in a couple of minutes. Thank you.

Nice airport clean and spacious. Has smoking fasilities. Not a busy international airport. There are two check in areas which lead to the same terminal section. There is an express security section. After a flight there is an internal smoking section. Toilets are clean but some door locks due to mechanical ware require that you prop your carry on against the door to keep the lock in place. There are paper towles and air dryers that use solar power. Good duty free in main airside section, Limited in next terminal. Staff are nice people. Outside the airport there is a viweing section to see aircraft take off and land. Bus and cabs just ouside arrivals and underground access to the main line train. Also there is a bus terminal that connects to other cities.

Lot airlines are slacking, slow and barely made it on our flight. Got to the airport 3 hours before the flight, after we had to stay here for the night because WAW to JFK would not wait 30-40 for a flight from RZE. Airport stuff is OK, quick screenings, border control officers act like they are Gods.

They have introduced the requirement of covid test for everybody - even for fully vaccinated and for those who are only there for transit. And they did not warn about it! Also staff in airport does not know anything about testing capacities and how can one make a test in transfer zone. Airline representatives were also not aware about this requirement. Poor organization. People missed their connecting flights! Complete mess!

I landed here after my 16hrs trip from Bali. The biggest Polish airport. Everything after landing was done fast and smoothly. Fast check in on the border control, excellent communication with customer service and surprisingly short waiting time during the baggage claim keep my thoughts very positively about this airport. Really nice place to stay in during your transit time.

Quite practical airport for transfers: reasonable distances, and all necessary shops are available. Covid-19 protective measures were well implemented.

Good efficient airport.. arrived last night and the bags were out in less than 10 after leaving the plane. Be aware at check in, that baggage drop even for business/first es 1.45 h before departure, otherwise they will not guarantee the luggage to make it. Lots of lounges and also shops/restaurant to wait until departure.

Plenty of space to sit around, good, well equipped duty free shops (although quite expensive) but the boarder control is super slow and archaic (they told me to take of everything from cosmetic bag, checks took ages and were a bit annoying and unfriendly, it was quite old school in compare to the best European airports (can’t be even closely compared to airports in Middle East or best Asian airports). Toilets were pretty small, dirty and broken, toilet paper was around and the smell wasn’t pleasant.

The only good thing about this airport is McDonalds where you can buy food at normal prices. Otherwise it is terribly organized. Automatic passport control often doesn’t work, and even though this airport is small it takes ages for your baggage to arrive.

Lots of seating at the gates, good food and shopping options, clean sanitary facilities, spacious corridors and waiting areas, usual and quick (less than 10 minutes, weekday mornings) security checks. The train connection to the city center (S2) runs every hour and could happily run to the airport at least every half hour. I actually can't offer any more criticism - a solid travel experience with this airport!

A nice and new airport, very easy to get through the layover time. The duty free shop here is great, they have various perfume and alcohol for you to choose. Yet they don’t have manu luxury goods stores, they only have boss and Burberry from what I can see. And the airport is not a big one. The upside is that you don’t need to rush for transit flights.

Warsaw airport is clear and well signposted, also in English. The security checks are quick and friendly. the sanitary facilities are clean. lots of shops and places to eat and relax. everything went orderly and smoothly. The departure experience brought back horror memories of the European travel chaos of 2022. The security check at departure is painfully slow and took me more than an hour to just clear security. Long lines with people getting anxious of missing their flights doesn't help at all. I'd recommend using the fast track option or coming earlier than 3 hours for peace of mind. They have screens showing estimated waiting times but those are nowhere close to accurate.

Airport has many shops, restaurants and cafes but please be aware that prices are on high level - even comparing them to the standard prices in Warsaw. You can get to the airport using train, bus or cab. Uber is also an option but there is a limited number of arrivals in kiss and fly zone for drivers.

I like Warsaw Chopin Airport. Modern but not too big. Well connected by public transport and there is a local transport desk in arrivals that has plenty of maps and sells tickets. Plenty of facilities. The vodka prices in the duty free shops are brilliant, but the food outlets are no cheaper than any western European airport's.
