Went to listen to the Yakima Symphony Orchestra. It was wonderful. The theater is beautiful! However if stairs are difficult for you you'll want to choose seats on the main floor.

Great place for awards ceremony. The cayetef food was delicious. Real upscale night time social atmosphere. Minimum engagement with the staff but the people at the door were friendly... This event was hosted by the Yakima Herald News Paper. Beautiful ceiling arrangement that hung down that gave the eyes something lovely to gaze upon while tracking up the spiral feeling stairs. Nice place!

We have watched ballets and plays here, and it's just wonderful. We enjoy it every time we go.

My first experience there was pretty good. It was fun. Went with my boyfriend to see a show and the place is just gorgeous inside. The people there are nice as well.

I have been to many concerts at the Capitol Theater. It is the perfect place to do live music, incredible acoustics, perfect venue and no bad seats in the house.

Beautiful theater. Chairs are comfortable too. From the upper balcony...

A great cultural and historical asset to our community. The building is old, so people with mobility issues should expect related inconveniences like (relatively) narrow halls, aisles, and stairs, etc. The charm, beauty, and maintenance of the place still earns it a full five stars.

This little theater is pretty neat for how old it is! They have recently upgraded their seating and overall it was a comfortable experience. The screen size is fairly small though and they have very limited options for food and drink. Still I would recommend it if you live in down town Wenatchee!

The sound sucked. One performers mic was distorted and low volume. Could not always hear him. The other comics were joking about how bad it was. Easy for the. To joke, as they already got paid. I paid money to only be able to hear and understand maybe 75% of the show. You need to do better then that. Disappointed......

This place was absolutely beautiful ,staff was great. That being said the music was so loud it was distorted and i couldn't hear the singers. I can't believe they not only didn't catch that before but during the show and fix it. Very disappointing

4th st. Theater behind the Capitol Theater(in the back of the building) was perfect for the Community Band Concert. And the art on the walls was amazing!

This is a great historical building they keep in Yakima downtown absolutely love the shows they have and when you go in the seating is very comfortable. The sound quality is great and parking is so so when it gets busy so get there before your show a little early.

A lovely theater but the sound system the Buddy Holly play used cut out a lot.

The staff, from ticketing to seating and beverage could have been more inviting, but the venue is spectacular. The old ornate theater is a real treat.

Beware!!! COVID passport required for entry….this is NOT revealed when you purchase tickets! They give no refunds! NO COVID SHOT ID in a free country. This is Marxism!

For a town the size of Yakima you couldn't ask for a nicer performing arts venue. Not to mention it's beautiful, great acoustics and lots of interesting history.

Visually Stunning, Audibly Challenged. I saw the Russian Ballet Nutcracker November 2018. I paid a pretty penny primarily to hear this masterwork in all of its musical (audio) glory. The sets, dancers, costumes, and venue were visually magnificent. However, the sound was reproduced recorded music. That would be all right, but the sound system made it sound like it was emanating from a 1982 Lloyds, or Soundesign, boom box. The highs were not crisp, the low end was muddy, and the volume was insufficient to emulate a live orchestra. Very disappointed. Come on, guys n gals, spend 20 grand or so and upgrade the sound system. UPDATE: I saw a Broadway show in early 2022 and it was fantastic. The SOUND was fantastic. The show brought their own sound system. So, I guess, if you are going to a show that uses their own equip, it will probably have delightful full sound, and it you are going to a show that uses the house sound system, not so much.

What a beautiful and beautifully restored theater. Excellent acoustics and good sight lines. It's a wonderful place for a live show and you don't have to drive to Seattle.

Always a joy to enter this historical building's doorways. One is greeted with a smile, treated to a memorable experience. One exits with a thank you for coming, a smile and good feeling inside, and looking forward to the next event. Charlie, you and your crew all deserve big Kudos for the joy you bring to Yakima!! Thank you!!
