Not sure I was eating at the same restaurant as all the good reviews. Was taken to this place twice by my host. Was being polite and not offend him when he took us to the place the second time. The food was slightly better on the second occasion. But definitely not a place I would like to eat at again. Management need to give their staff some training in customer service and good manners.

Istanbul Turkish Restaurant is an amazing hub in downtown Yaoundé in the Bastos neigborhood. The place is good especially for its grilled chicken a delicacy that fits the palate of their vide variety of customers. 5 of my friends and I had this famous chicken treat this afternoon after chilled milk as entrées. The place is not too difficult to spot with very beautiful rest rooms to take care of customers in pressing need to ease themselves. The only down side is that they don't have enough parking space for the vehicles of their teeming clientele.
