Stayed there during Christmas and it was quite packed up. The staff were helpful. I liked the breakfast buffet. It’s more towards the South Indian cuisine and there are a lot of options . But the desserts aren’t that good. The rooms are cozy but there’s no view since it’s located in the heart of the city . Pool isn’t heated and dress code is mandatory for the pool. The bathrooms are pretty small . Pretty sophisticated for an old hotel. Pleasant stay

We attended a family function here .... My sister in law's engagement.. Daspalla was popular around.. the taste was good .. buffet was also available here for breakfast, lunch and also dinner .. the rooms were good , and the function hall was also spacious for engagements and birthday parties. There were 4 function halls I think .. catering was also nice. Food was tasty and items were also good. Parking was a little bit trouble on weekends and wedding seasons. The entrance was a little bit hard to notice if you are not a local person.

I stayed here for two nights. I'm impressed with the maintenance of property, cleanliness of the rooms, to the good breakfast offered as complimentary. I would know recommend the hotel management to inform the staff serving food to accommodate the request. I went in for breakfast at 10.10 as I was informed that the timings are from 7am-10.30 am. I was requesting for one food item which could have been helped with, I could see that they were rushing up to close the breakfast. They might be hungry or have other work, but the management should address this by some means. We are on vacation and we don't want to hear things like time up.... If you are a hotel who looks at improving, try listening to the customer if something could be done. Otherwise I had a good time at the hotel and recommend it to others.

Our regular place for tiffins and all time favorite for everyone.. They have good amount of parking space for cars and have a decent ambience.. Previously we use to go there for chutney only but they have lost that legendary chutney touch... But good place to have dinner with family..

We ordered king prawns prawns which wasn’t available but then after waiting for 1 hour we got Prawns curry which was extremely salty. We also got another prawns and another fish dish which were also too salty. The meat itself was good. But I came with elders who have BP issues and we had to send back a dish. The bathroom is not very clean though the hotel itself is decent. Overall, not a very good experience.

Today I went with a friend in roof area restaurant it's decoration was very good but the food and service is very low category. I think a street food stall is more delicious food they have. Waste of mind time and money . They dnt care wat u got in food or not.

The only thing I liked here is housekeeping. They did their work perfectly. Apart no one cares your entry and exit, none from reception gives you attention except the relation manager. No proper respect n attention paid in the restaurant. Expected lot and took stay for 5days but Disappointed completely

The buffet at Daspalla was worth the price. Although if you don't book your table beforehand you'll have to wait for hours together. The menu was quite filling especially the non veg section. The desserts were just a no for me. They could improvise the desserts but I guess if it has to be affordable, they have to go low somewhere and this is it.

Not long ago I went to this place with family members. With the help of guidance from the guard we could reach a dinner place. Baby corn was one of the items that was ordered. But the food served was stale. Upon enquiring with server and manager later, that cook came in and still pretended the food was alright. While rest of the items we did not face any issue, with this particular item, I expected cooking crew to act honest.

Excellent hotel for dine. For small functions also we can plan here. If we want give a treat for 25 persons they are providing a small room without charge but charges will be only on our orders (food , brevarages). So better to plan here for small parties in the prime location.

Ambience is good .Went for Dine-in. Quality of the food is ok ok..Service is utterly worst cant provide the table service how can a customer will order food after asking five times given menu.For drinking water also we need to ask several times what gor the manager servers around 6-7people roaming around can't even respond to the customers.... Finally after having food it's bill time ..it is also utter waste management can't even whose table bill to whom they are giving .. Management is too worst ..Small small hotels are having proper service management and customer satisfaction.waited nearly 5mnts for bill but no use finally we need to go and pay.. Although family friendly, staff aren't trained enough and carry their own ego. This was right in the entrance to the hotel where the kids were playing as we are entering and was asked to be quiet not to disturb customers sleeping in their rooms upstairs. Cynical. Would I want to go there again? Never.

(Non-veg).I have been visiting this restaurant many times. But recently my experience is not good at all. Being a 4 star hotel and having lot of reputation, I went with my family. Food serving is very slow and late. Soup is worst. They don't know how serve also. Overall food and ambience is not at all good. Very disappointed ☹️

Hotel staff was very good. All the orders have been delivered in half an hour. Also room is very hygienic and clean. It's a best place to stay in the town. Hotel staff is also very understanding and ready to help. It is walking distance from main market and main places. So many food options is also available nearby.

In all aspects it's the best stay in vizag and we enjoyed alot .We will prefer next time also this place. Need to improve basement parking area ,it's dark and some assistance required from staff. Swimming pool area and dress changing rooms are also not upto the mark.

Had a good comfortable stay. Staff is courteous and helpful. It is within the city centre and close to railway station. There are few improvements required. Some of the furniture, carpets, cutlery are quite old and should be replaced. Few in room accessories were missing like toothpaste and brush, very limited TV channels.

The stay @Hotel Daspalla is always comfortable. The staff are polite and caring. The front desk employees need to be more cordial as I have seen few new faces who are yet to imbibe the quality that the hotel is famous for. Certainly one of the best places to stay in Vizag.

Located at prime place. Well connected to most part of the city. Rooms r well maintained and room service is very fast. Their breakfast spread at dimple and dinner buffet at Dakshin is excellent.

Smoke was coming from AC at night and after that, they have changed my room to lower class without informing me. The manager was horrible he is like a robot. When I was complaining to him he was looking here and there. I think he didn't listen also my problem. I send mail to everyone and nobody replied to that mail. They are given very bad service

Food and service was good. Since it was a Saturday evening, there is lot of rush but we could get a table for 16 persons. It is advised to go early by 7 or 730 to reduce the waiting time..there is no advance booking. Great food. Order anything and bet you would not be disappointed with the taste. Multiple restaurants are there like pure veg, non veg, etc depending on what you like to eat. One star less is for no lift provision in the restaurants. It has seating on first floor and one needs to take stairs and there is no Toilet on first floor. It was highly inconvenient for my old mother. I decided never to go there again with her.

Stayed here for 3 days for my college trip. The hospitality and the service was really nice. The attendants were very polite and friendly with us. The best is the food, if you are staying here you should eat food from here. The varieties and taste were so delicious and authentic. ❤

We went to the restaurant to have a family dinner! There is different restaurants available , we went to Dimple which is a bar and family restaurant as well! We ordered chicken and fish starters which were good! Chicken stroganoff was also good!. All the quantities were really good! The only disappointment was the white sauce pasta! It was not good! I wouldn't recommend ordering pasta! Other than that everything else was a good choice! The service is also top class!

I have been coming since my childhood to the point I have made friendships with some of the people who work here. They are very friendly and cordial. The food is excellent. Especially the veg thali is great with various Andhra delicacies. Even now whenever we visit India we make it a point to eat here atleast once. The taste of the food mixed with friendly faces and nostalgia makes for a wonderful meal experience every time.

The hotel is located in Vizag in the heart of the city . It has a great ambience. This is one of the oldest hotel I know . I visited this hotel in 1990 and after in 2022. A great experience. The service at the hotel is great. The food is real good a true value for money I would say .

Had lunch, need to wait for almost an hour for the ordered food to serve, not counting waiting time for vacancy. And prices r too high for that quantity and taste. Would not recommend.
