The food here is outstanding and reasonably priced. The somewhat dark and unassuming entrance hides an absolute gem of a restaurant with nice views, friendly staff and creative and delicious cooking. Highly recommend!

Had a super dinner for my brothers birthday celebrations. The meal was absolutely outstanding. Loved the Kokoda (Fiji ceviche) for entree and then had a very tasty walu curry. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back for a lunch as well a couple of days later. The slipper lobster (we call them balmain bugs) was a delight.

Best food in Savusavu and possibly all of Fiji. This place is a hidden gem and a must try. We went back and dined there 4-5 times it was that good. Vijen is super friendly and makes you feel very at home while the bar master Waca takes care of all the cocktails under the sun. Very relaxed atmosphere and it’s really fun talking to the people working there, learning about Fiji, Savusavu, and their own personal histories. A must visit!

Fish and chips was really really good as well as fresh lemonade. I think that this restaurant is on the expensive side in this town with fish and chips as (one of) the cheapest dishes for 25FJD and a glass of lemonade for 6.50FJD. Don't let the long dark hallway fool you, it's well worth it and nice.

Food is reasonably priced but our chips were all cold. Server was lovely and our drinks were very good.

The menu is on a few chalk boards and changes regularly to reflect fresh local produce. Sea/paddock to plate 🍲 The view is beautiful, during the day and at sunset. And the food…amazing!! Lobster pasta and salad, GF vegetarian curry, and coconut crème brûlée for dessert! Seriously delicious food in Savusavu and a must-do experience. Not totally wheelchair accessible but suitable for those with limited mobility needs. Absolute waterfront, beautiful 🌅

Delicious food! Everything was amazing and perfect portion sizes too. On top of that, great cocktails as well. Highly recommended, in fact we’re going back tomorrow for lunch.

The best restaurant in Savusavu. The neat thing about the Surf n Turf is it manages to be both upscale and tropical casual at the same time, and you can eat here expensively or quite moderately depending on what you choose. It could be a burger and beer at lunch or a candlelit steak dinner. You enter the restaurant from the main street but go down a hall to find the entry, and then the dining area sits on a covered deck by the water. It’s really a lovely place. We have a couple of favorite dishes here: kokoda, the Fijian version of poisson cru (raw cut up raw fish and vegetables in lime juice and coconut milk) and the Salad Nicoise with big chunks of seared tuna. They don’t always have that salad; but they frequently do. They have specials on their board, and some of them are fabulous. A frequent special is a fish in an orange sauce that's amazing.
