True, now only the bell tower from the time of Pushkin’s wedding remains, but in general the temple is literally imbued with history and prayed to by our ancestors. They say that Suvorov himself was its parishioner. Ermolov’s funeral service was held here and Shchepkin. And in general, you can learn a lot of interesting things about this temple, about its history. Now I was delighted by the grandeur of the temple buildings, the icons, the richness of the space and, of course, the holiness of the relics of famous saints there. The clergy serve the service very solemnly, they sing very beautifully singers, a very spiritual atmosphere in everything and everywhere. I liked the store in the courtyard space of the temple. On the ground floor you can buy copies of icons of Rublev himself (precisely copies - with cracks, with darkening - everything is like today’s originals that have passed through history); on the same floor interesting spiritual books, church things and objects are sold. The second floor offers jewelry and dresses, wedding and funeral dresses and things. On the third floor - fabrics. For the first time I see such a variety of everything that is necessary for sale on the territory of the temple people living a truly spiritual life. It is very convenient to buy everything in one place. I recommend visiting this temple and touching our history.

A very beautiful temple. A.S. Pushkin was baptized here. The relics of St. Alexy are located and Patriarch Alexy II is buried, whom I knew from his service in the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, before he became patriarch.

One of the most unique places in Moscow. This Cathedral is huge and very beautiful, I like visit the place when get to Basmanny District. The great popularity this Cathedral got is for being a place where great Russian poet and writer has being baptized. He is name is Pushkin.

The Epiphany Cathedral at Yelokhovo, Moscow, is the vicarial church of the Moscow Patriarchs. The surviving building was designed and built by Yevgraph Tyurin in 1837–1845. The original church in the village of Yelokhovo near Moscow was built in 1722-31 for Tsarevna Praskovia Ivanovna. It was there that Alexander Pushkin was baptised in 1799. In 1790 a refectory with a four-tier belfry was built. The present structure was erected in 1837-1845 to a Neoclassical design by Yevgraph Tyurin. The architecture is typical for the late Empire style, with some elements of European eclectics. The riotous opulence of the interior decoration is due to a restoration undertaken in 1912. Despite a small cathedral's territory — the church itself is wonderfully overwhelming, bright and beautiful. Worth seeing just to admire and take a deep breath some nicely peaceful atmosphere around it. Very beautiful in any weather.

Any rating to it, will contradict with the Russian law of insulting the feelings of The Faithful and will result in prosecution and imprisonment of the ones responsible.
