This is a fantastic place to visit. If your looking for some real fresh home cooking that's vegan, delicious and healthy then this is the "Must Stop Here" place. There are certain times for different dishes on their web site. But when you come in it's buffet style and you are charged by the weight. I would say it's a fair price for real healthy fresh home cooked food. And they don't gouge you on the dessert either like most places do. For the quality of the dessert I had (which not many could compare) I think it was all a fair price. The staff here (or owners, not sure) are just super super friendly and are ready for any questions you may have about the food. You feel like you have just been welcomed in to someones real home kitchen, no kidding. If I lived here I would be here all of the time. It's a real relaxed casual atmosphere. Nothing fancy just cozy home like. I not only enjoyed their food but the hospitality was a whole additional part that made the experience wonderful. There were plenty of regulars here and I can see why. A must try is their vegan cheese cake. It was just scrumptious. It was just freshly made and it was not the frozen kind to keep it together. I don't know if this had a cashew base or what but the texture was so much like a regular cheese cake and with that real cheese cake flavor too. Besides some berries, they also had their own whip cream to put on it. Can't say enough about that either. I remember it was almond and coconut based. Even if your just looking for a real good vegan dessert treat then just stop in for that. You will love it. I know I will be back here every time I'm in this area for vacation from now on. A BIG thumbs up !

A great vegan and gluten free restaurant. There is a portion pay by weight and a salad and soup bar that is pay by the plate. The owners are incredibly nice and authentic.

Excellent food paired with unsurpassed customer service is rare. This place is that gem- I am a regular and absolutely love it here. Country Life is also an awesome place for learning- not to mention all the great items in their store. Thank you Peggy and team for all that you do!

For me this is the best restaurant in northern New England. They have both wonderful salad and hot bars which change daily. Likewise two soups and a desert bar. All is self-serve, so that you can enjoy a meal taking on as much time as you have - and/or - take-out.

A vegan jewel, I drive 40 minutes past several restaurants to eat at their delicious, creative and colorful buffet. It's worth the trip!

My life would be empty without Country Life in Keene, NH. There are no other vegan options in the immediate area and I love the foods and service provided. The staff members have become my friends as well. The attention and work put into the daily preparations is exemplary!

AMAZING find! Tucked just off the downtown Keene square this restaurant is really a little grocery store full of vegan and vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable too which was an extra surprise given the quality and amount of food given. This is a new regular stop for me and my family.

Stopped in while visiting a friend who lived nearby since they told me about this place. All I can say is, WOW. What a great ambiance, great food, and great staff. We were greeted at the door and then walked through the protocol, and given a run down of all food items. We tried a bit of everything and was very impressed with the flavor and tastes of everything. As a vegan, it is hard to find good places to eat out that have options, and I would rank Country Life up as on of the best. Keep up the good work!

Food is tasty. Winning dish was the vegetable medley with fresh, colorful veggies and herbs. The salad bar had several types of sprouts, fermented food, homemade dressing, and everything was fresh. Splurged on the carob pie dessert which was excellent even if the crust was a little soggy. There is falafel and sandwiches available. Take out is easy. Prices are reasonable for setting and food quality (everything is expensive anymore) but I got a healthy, satisfying lunch and dessert for about $15. Would be an easy way to introduce someone to healthier, more vegetable heavy choices.

The women that work here are so kind, the food is delicious and affordable, and there’s always a salad bar if you want fresh. The desserts are fantastic, and the fruit bars are worth taking home. I’ve never shopped in their mini grocery, but there are some foods unique to the vegan kitchen for sale as well.

Really tasty food. Some good choices for the market. A nice buffet selection. Prices are pretty good! Some really good vegan food. There's a long table and when I was there it was basically full and kind of loud, but I did notice by the buffet there was a more secluded table. I had the bean burrito and it was tasty. Give it a try!

Connie is the best and the daily menu and buffet always exceed my expectations. Whether you're vegan or not, I think you'd absolutely love this place and the people there. Country Life is easily my go-to spot for lunch.

Don't get anxious about the per pound food prices.........because this is dense, real food, a little goes a LONG ways. After eating my salad/soup then entree's, I've just never made it to those yummy looking deserts! Except when I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant four weeks ago with a in-house made delicious carrot cake including some vegan ice cream with friends.............All loved every bite! it was such a huge cake, I still have some in the freezer to attack soon! don't just take my word for it..........Eating is Believing! The couple working/owners were so kind and accommodating. The food smelled amazing and tasted even better. Fresh, quality ingredients and you could tell made with Love!! Will make this a regular stop!

So, while I have never visited Country Life in person, I did pick up a Gluten Free Raspberry bar from Apothica Flower & Tea in Goffstown and it was absolutely delicious! I hope to visit Country Life Restaurant soon and write a full review.

I arrive at this outstanding place once a month as I enjoy the special air that is exist in this place. The team is exceptionally friendly and well trained. The service is extraordinarily rapid. Most important, the food you get is excellent. I ate there many times and I was always joyful. The expense is fair. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

two days ago was the first time we came to that good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the great cuisine and wine and with the comfortable charge. We will no doubt come back again.

The vegan pizza is to die for! The "cheese" is almost like a ricotta and loaded with veggies. We've eaten here before and the food is always so good.
