10/10 experience! Andy was so welcoming and willing to answer every question we had. We saw many parts of Osaka that we would have never experienced without him. Felt like we were touring the city with a old friend ☺️ We ended up booking two tours with him while there, and had such a wonderful time! Thanks so much for such a great experience!

Andy is such a charismatic and fun tour guide- He really made this tour a great experience! This tour was definitely the most memorable part of my trip to Osaka. Getting to walk around the city while learning about the history and culture of Japan is something that I think anyone visiting the city should do, and I will be recommending this tour to any and all of my friends who visit Osaka in the future. Thanks again for the great Osaka experience, Andy! I hope to attend more of your tours/events soon! :)

What an awesome tour. Andy is a friendly, knowledgeable, well informed guide who knows Osaka like a true local. You will see the offbeat parts of Osaka that most tourist don’t get to see, from arcades, outside malls, tasty street food, shopping districts, dive bars and even known Yakuza hangouts! You will not be disappointed; a must do for Osaka. If your lucky like I was, you might even get to go for a ride in a Lamborghini!

The Deep Backstreet Osaka Tour is the best tour I ever did: off the beaten path, into neighborhoods which you would never visit yourself, learning about the real Japanese culture, eating real Japanese food with the locals… Andy learnt me a lot in 3 hours and we had a great time together. Simply amazing!!

This tour is the best thing I have done in Osaka, Andy is brilliant and you see parts of Japanese culture that you would never get to see without him as your guide (I’ve lived in Japan for 3 years) It’s a fun, interesting and unique experience, the food is very local and you’ll hear the stories behind what you’re eating and the people who made it, the local vendors all know Andy and they clearly have a long standing relationship. You’ll visit places outside the tourist tick list; this is an Osaka food and walking tour that really shows a unique and local view of a brilliant city.

Andy was amazing! Super fun and knowledgeable. Osaka is a gem and going trough the back streets you see real life as suppose to just the glam that the touristic spots show you.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! it was my first time in Osaka and I’m soooo happy I did this tour! It was the highlight of my weekend pretty much! I would of never been or known about the places we saw and it was as much exciting, interesting and fun! Andy is an excellent guide! Super friendly and knowledgeable! I’m not kidding when I say I’ll probably do it again with friends and family when I’ll come back to Osaka !!️ Thank you so much Andy and hopefully I’ll see you soon!!!

Can’t recommend highly enough. Everyone saying this is the best experience in Osaka is 100% right. Andy delivered an amazing tour of a side of Osaka I never would have otherwise seen. I felt completely safe throughout the tour, but I never would have dared to venture down these alleyways on my own. He also provided super interesting and insightful conversation about Osaka’s past, present, and future based on both history and his personal experience. I saw a lot, and learned a lot, that’s going to stick with me. The highlight of my whole trip around Japan for sure.

Freagin great mate is what I can say. Michael was very knowledgeable and more importantly pretty funny. And not a bad singer to boot. We had a great time with a crew from U of Tennessee. The seedy backstreets were very memorable. Thanks for waiting for me! 🙏 Highly recommend

Think you can learn the city on your own or not sure about spending the money? …you’ll never learn as much about the city/Japan without this tour. One of the best tours we’ve been on - learned a ton and had fun along the way. Kevin is fantastic. All the best to Kevin and Mai !

Mike did a great job of exposing some truths about Japanese culture and social systems. Very interesting and informative. Finished off with some great food at a local izakaya and some bangers at karaoke after. 10/10 would recommend. Highlight was the red light district tour and observing the characters of Nishinari (the bad lands)

A great night trying a lot of different foods! Our guide Tommy was friendly, knowledgeable and funny! This was a great opportunity to learn about the customs and culture of Osaka through food. Book this tour if you want to try different types of food and learn about a unique part of Osaka. We shared this tour with another family, h who had a two teens who loved the experience! Don’t shy away because you’ve got older kids. They will love this your.

Loved this tour. The guide was very engaging and kept the tour at a good pace with very interesting facts. Would definitely recommend this if you want to see normal everyday life in Japan rather than a glossed over version.

It can be overwhelming for a first time visit in Japan/Osaka to pick the right activity, but I am surely happy I picked this company and their evening tour and I'd gladly go again if I am back in town. We got the tour guide with the best taste in music - Tommy - and his knowledge and good mood made it for an amazing evening. It's been quite an eye opener to listen to the stories and witness some of the areas related to the stories that you don't quite have access to if you stick to the touristy path. Glad this tour exists and that I had a chance to attend it.

👍👍 Booked for the "All-Inclusive Tokyo Food and Drink Adventure (leave the tourists behind)" and it was well worth it. Andrew our guide was full of great knowledge and a great conversationalist. It ended up being a private tour as groups are small anyways. Andrew knew very cool local only knowledge on...
