I recently stayed at tewodros belay Hotel and had an amazing experience. The location makes it easy to go anywhere. The service was exceptional; the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch stay in the city.
My stay at Tewodros was good .They have such a great members of staff which they made my stay great, all members of staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I stay was nice I have no complaints at all. By the way I will choose it again for my next trip
I had the worst experience ever. My brother stayed at the hotel for four days, paying more than what transit guests pay. However, when he tried to have the same breakfast offered to transit guests, the hotel refused to serve it to him. To make matters worse, the food he was served was of poor quality.
I loved staying on this hotel it's clean near the airport and good view overall loved it 👌
Everything was amazing, they made my whole semester wonderful their service is excellent to morning later to evining invluding their service on transportation very safe and recommended for everyone to visit
room is clean the food is amazing the service is wonderful on point
The room I checked into had a leaky roof, causing water to drip from the room above and soak the bathroom floor. Breakfast was disappointing, mainly because they only served Ethiopian lunch dishes instead of a variety of breakfast options. Cleaning is very bad, the first time checking in I brought my own soap and I left it in the bathroom when checking out. 6 days later, when I decided to check in again, I picked the same room and found the same soap in the bathroom with the soap wrap on the floor and leakage on the roof
If you hear Tewodros Hotel for overnight by Ethiopian Airlines, run and run fast! Don't expect anything professional as you won't get it when it comes to service. Food is cold and looks like it was made the morning hours and left to go cold. The trip to the hotel is so long and there's no communication how long it will take. The room is falling apart and don't even mention the toilet, nothing is properly cleaned. A very shoddy place with things falling apart. Towels looks very dirty. Breakfast is not even ready when we were told its ready before our departure. Reception gives you a call but at times looks like skeleton staff helping out.
I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option. First, if you call them they'd give you a different price and when you go actually to pay they'd ask you for more. I was tired and didn't want to look for another hotel so I agreed to pay. Now I went to my room and here the problems start. The toilet doesn't work, there's no hot water, the lights always go off and they don't have generators. Imagine having to walk 6 or 7 flights of stairs. When you call reception to ask them to find a fix for you, they will send someone who can't even a single word in English. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to. I am not an entitled brat. I have stayed in some really cheap 500 birr hotels in Ethiopia and had a great time. Worst Experience!
I rarely rate a hotel this negatively, but I feel I have to here. Found myself here due to a Transit stay booking by Ethiopian Airlines. The check-in was very fast, which I appreciated given that it was past midnight. I also appreciated the wake up call and the responsiveness of some of the staff. The place was dingy, had a musty smell all over and had dirty stains on the walls and restaurant furniture (chairs, tables and tablecloths). The interiors look worn and the food options in the restaurant were really limited, and that's an understatement. The room I had was a supposed luxury suite, quit big. The bed was well made but the bedding was wet for some reason, although I decided it was clean. The whole bathroom floor was flooded and could not be used. It appeared there was a leak from the roof and I could only pray that it was clean water. I reported this to the receptionist whose literal response was "So...?" I was patient, and waited for her to explain that I had one of the best rooms and she had nowhere to move me to. After some persuasion she agreed to send housekeeping staff to at least clean up. I waited for an hour and a half with an open door and no-one came, which I kind of expected, from her attitude. I told the same receptionist when I was checking out and she still promised to send someone. If they had fixed this one problem, I would have had kinder words. On a brighter note, I did not find any cockroaches or bedbugs during my stay - I looked for them because I was kind of expecting them. So I will give an extra star for that.
