I
could
have
given
a
zero
rating
if
that
was
possible.
I
had
booked
a
trek
to
Kumara
Parvatha
starting
22nd
December
to
24th
December
from
Thrillophilia,
and
I
was
assigned
Antariksha
Trekkers
as
our
trek
guide.
From
the
moment
trek
started,
not
one
thing
went
as
expected,
I’ll
cover
all
the
aspects
here
one
by
one.
Our
trek
guides
were
Goutham
Thorwath,
Yashwanth,
and
Varun
Gawda.
Transportation:
There
were
more
than
60
people
boarding
from
Bangalore
for
an
overnight
journey
to
Kukke
Subramaniya
Temple,
Coorg.
They
were
supposed
to
provide
comfortable
rides,
since
we
would
be
sleeping
in
the
bus
and
starting
the
trek
next
morning.
They
provided
us
two
buses,
the
first
one
which
majority
of
people
boarded
had
pathetic
seats
with
zero
legroom
and
no
recline
facility,
while
the
second
bus
(which
came
from
a
later
pickup
point)
had
good
legroom
with
recliner
features.
We
were
forced
to
sit
in
the
bad
bus
since
a
fight
had
broken
over
the
seating
arrangements.
The
buses
started
2
hours
later
than
the
provided
time.
We
arrived
at
the
trek
fully
exhausted
and
sleep
deprived,
and
our
spirit
was
in
shambles
even
before
we
took
first
step.
The
transportation
on
the
way
back
was
even
worse
since
another
fight
had
started
between
the
trekkers
and
the
drivers
about
the
seating
arrangements
since
no
one
wanted
to
travel
back
in
the
congested
bus,
which
went
even
physical
for
a
moment
as
things
escalated.
Post
this,
our
ride
back
was
hellish
to
say
the
least
as
the
driver
deliberately
drove
over
each
bump
and
pothole
at
full
speed
causing
people
to
go
airborne
(our
ride
back
was
between
12
AM
to
6
AM
when
we
were
supposed
to
sleep)
while
also
blasting
music
at
full
volume
to
make
sure
no
one
was
able
to
sleep
during
the
journey
back.
Trek
guidance:
I
have
no
words
to
say
how
pathetic
the
planning
was
on
the
part
of
Antariksha
trekkers.
They
gave
us
no
briefing
before
any
part
of
the
trek,
causing
mass
confusion
and
chaos
when
people
reached
the
sites
and
did
not
know
what
to
do.
Time
management
was
the
worst
part
of
the
entire
trek,
which
caused
us
to
reach
late
everywhere.
I
can
understand
that
managing
such
a
huge
crowd
could
be
difficult,
but
if
you
can’t,
you
shouldn’t
accept
a
booking
of
this
volume
in
the
first
place.
Some
good
parts
were
that
the
trek
guides
were
friendly
and
helpful
regarding
the
trekking
tasks
like
tent
setup,
lunch
arrangements
and
general
guidance
throughout
the
trail.
They
were
providing
good
instructions
one-on-one
with
the
trekkers.
Trek
guides
did
what
they
might
have
been
told
but
communication
could
have
been
much
better.
What
could
have
been
done
better:
-
There
should
be
a
briefing
provided
on
what
to
expect
to
everyone
at
each
checkpoint.
Eg.
They
could
have
informed
us
about
the
tentative
timings
of
the
plastic
check
post,
what
to
expect
on
the
trail,
how
much
time
it
would
take
to
ascend
and
what
to
do/place
to
meet
once
we
reach
the
next
checkpoint.
None
of
this
was
done,
or
even
if
it
was,
it
was
done
locally
with
10
or
so
people
which
each
one
having
different
instructions,
causing
chaos.
-
The
trekking
organisation
should
provide
proper
rides
for
the
journey,
which
are
at
least
somewhat
comfortable,
since
we
are
going
to
physically
exert
ourselves
so
much
on
the
actual
trek.
-
They
should
take
us
to
proper
places
on
the
route
for
our
self
sponsored
meals
instead
of
making
us
walk
2
km
for
food
post
our
trek.
Overall,
I
would
not
book
anything
in
future
with
Antariksha
Trekkers
again
after
causing
us
so
much
physical
and
mental
pain
throughout
the
entire
trip.
