Excellent !!! That's the way to describe it. I have been consulting Dr. Jayakrishnan since 2018 and its always been a pleasant experience. The one unique thing about him is his ability to relate to your emotions. He is calm and composed and listens to the problem completely. Appointments are well scheduled so that he spends quality time with every patient. Is never in a hurry to get to the next patient. His diagnosis is spot on and prognosis covers long term and short term recovery actions. The best part is that he makes you feel comfortable and removes the panic bit with which we go to him. His communication style is simple and straight without any dramatics. I referred a relative who avoided an unnecessary surgery after consulting him which does speak volumes about this ethics. Writing a review post my MPFL Surgery. Doctor Jayakrishnan Pillai is an incredible surgeon. He did a great job in my first visit explaining the issue in a clear manner. Family and friends have been visiting from years for any Ortho related issues and he has been the most recommended. Most importantly I never feel rushed and always explains very politely(very rare these days) . In our past experience he has been very clear when there is a need for surgery and when it’s not required. Before the surgery I was very worried but he made sure to comfort me and say that it’s going to very easy and definitely felt the surgery was not as what I feared. He and his team ensured a smooth prep and were very kind and helpful. Post surgery he made sure to visit before my discharge even though it was his OOO hours. He has been very kind and lovely to speak with in every appointment. Post recovery he has shown commitment to help me recover and planned regular follow ups with necessary exercises and tips. Been visiting doctor Pillai for a few years now for my foot that underwent surgery and more recently my back pain issues. He’s a great doctor, always makes sure to take enough time to make the patient feel secure with whatever the diagnosis is. Makes you completely understand the issue at hand, and is extremely genuine, there is no chance of extra unnecessary medicines or diagnosis, with him.
