It's quite a nice and very pleasant temple/place. You won't feel you are in a metropolitan city. It's very quiet calm and clean place. I didn't find much people at temple or at hill. You can see around 2-3 kms Bangalore view from the top of the hill. Entire Hill area is with big big rocks and surrounded by lots of trees. You can have a nice time with family. Easily you can spend 1-2hrs of time there. You feel breathing healthy air at the top of the hill place. Where these days you may need to go away hundreds of miles for good air and good weather. At this place you get a feel of out of station feel. Entire temple is surrounded by grilling and pathway. Also it has nice garden chairs to sit and spend your valuable time. And if are yoga person, it's a perfect place for your meditation asanas. Overall you can make a plan for half a day. You really enjoy it if you visit this place early morning or evening after 5pm.

Anand lingeahwara Temple is near to Hebbal flyover Or in RT Nagar precisely. Well it is bit inside the main Road and entrance is not approachable by Car, if you r coming from Car you have to walk 400 to 500 meters. The temple is at the top of a small Hill, I think there were 45 to 50 staircase steps. At the top the view is beautiful, serene, It's a Shiva temple and very good. I visited on weekdays so hardly 3 to 4 ppl. We're there. In Hebbal, it's a good temple to Visit..

In 2008 when I came to Bangalore, I was living near to RT Nagar. This Hill top temple was one of my favorite place as I always like calm and silent place. This place was somewhat isolated. Now in 2019 this place is changed totally it's a revamped look of it. They call this place Betta. The idol of Anandalingeswara actually a Lord Shiva. After a long stressful work day one should visit this place on weekend to rejuvenate them. Recommended place.

This is an old temple from Chola period and also has connection with Mahabharatha period. It is believed thar Pandavas stayed on this beautiful small hill and Kunti worshiped lord shiva. There is a Kunti stone too. The temple has very serene atmosphere and one can feel divine peace here. Also have a panoramic view of the city.

This was an unplanned visit or rather should say planned it just before 1 hour we decided to visit this temple. It's on top of a small hill. There are wide stairs to walk up the hill. At the foothill you can have darshan of Lord Ganesh. On top is Sri Ananda Lingeshwar along with his wife Parvathi. You can see the whole Bengaluru from the hill top. People say you can have a good view of sunrise from the top. Well maintained. There is footpath around the temple on the top and you can take stroll along gazing at the growing Namma Bengaluru. After darshan we had tasty prasadam. They served kesari bath, puliyogare and curd rice and it was good enough as dinner for us. There is rock on top which is like an elephant 🐘 sitting down. It has been painted to enhance its features. Only problem is getting a parking place for your car. Even the road that leads to the temple that Google shows is not convinient to drive. If stuck, you can't even take a u turn.

Very good temple, surrounding atmosphere is very good. From the main road, very congested narrow road is there for about 1 km to reach the temple where 2 wheeler is best. Surrounded with temple nature is too cool and good. Can spend minimum 1 hour with family.

The temple sits on a peaceful hilltop surrounded by lush greenery. It' has beautiful architecture and the painted stones there add a special touch, making the whole place look awesome. The temple is a place with various deities. Divine and peaceful as well. 🙏🏻

Never could have thought the bustling neighbor of RT Nagara could nestle away such a serene temple. It's a beautiful temple atop a small hill. Amazing location.

Shiva temple that is centuries old. A wonderful spot for worship and meditation. It offers a stunning perspective of Bangalore's northern horizon. Please buy your puja supplies in the foothills; there's no stores on the top. A beautiful location that not many Bangaloreans are aware of. The best way to get here is via auto or bike.

I visited this temple in 2006 or 2007 during maha Shivaratri. There was a dog that was continuously doing pradakshina of the temple. Can anyone confirm if the dog is still there around the temple?

Nice shive temple at the hill and you have to climb around 35 steps to reach the top. In between one ganesh temple is there while climbing. Not so much rush in normal days and crowd will be there in some special occasions or festivals especially shivarathiri

Temple is good. But the approach road is very narrow and car can't go. When I went no priest was available. No pooja materials are available near by. Google map shows the rear entrance and have to go through the roads to the main entrance.

I went to this place with kids on 18th July 21 on Sunday. Reached there around 4:10pm. Was waiting for reopening the gate. A man came n opened the gate n closed immediately. when I asked him he said it will open at at 5:30 pm with no explanation. The other boy insist but he was denied.N we came back. At the same time I didn't fint the entrance clean.
