A decent place for Davangere benne dose in yelahanka new town. Place is very small and it's below the corporation bank in cellar. It's all standing and eating place. No place to sit comfortably and eat. Very limited items All Dosas with and with out benne that is butter in English. You get thatte idli also. They serve different chutney for dosa and for idly it's different chutney. They have take away option also. Dosas are small in size, sufficient for 1 person to complete, if your appetite is more easily you can finish 2 butter dosas. Do not expect much of cleanliness, as it 8s very small darshini kind of hotel. Taste is good. Chutney is not spicy, usually Davangere benne dosa chutney will be spicy. Try once you might like it. Parking is on roadside only. Cash only accepted and I think paytm also accepted i guess. Not sure.

I had Open Benne dosa and Kali benne dosa..Both tasted very very good.. Nominal prices are fixed.. People there treated very well!

I'd give a 3.5 stars. Food is okay. The staff are overworked and busy. The cashier/owner is rude. Doesn't want to give balance even a 200 for 500, says "give exact change or pay by UPI" . Doesn't understand when ppl request to give idli-vada quickly. Why should they wait in queue for 2 dozen dosa ? 3 out of 4 orders are for Swiggy-Zomato types. Even if 4 ppl in queue before you, you'll wait like 20-35 minutes. Too long wait time. Would I go if I stayed in 1km distance ? Yes, max once a month. Would I go if I stayed 5 or more km away? Not worth. Ordering via Swiggy Zomato adds a lot to the price, not sure who receives that much extra. And it's not worth that much extra and so much wait time, and getting cold soggy items at home. Of course there are fans of DBD. They'll like it .

We had evening tiffin here today. Unlike other places, here butter used is limited quantity hence it is safe and lighter. We had benne dose , benne set dosa and benne masala dosa. Chutney was very good. Overall good experience.

The best Davangere dosa you can get in Yelahanka. It was a small shop when it was started now it's a 2 shutter restaurant with token system to get the respective food items which we order which is really helpful and won't create confusions within customers. It's reasonable priced but only concern is parking problem at times for 4 wheeler.

After seeing the positive reviews and nice pics, I went to taste Benne Dose and Khali Dose. I had to wait for 20 min since it was weekend. Khali Dose was ok. But I was totally disappointed with the "Benne Dose". It was nowhere close to Authentic Benne Dose which we get in Davangere. It should have been crisp from outside n soft inside, and it looked like they didn't even put butter while preparing. It was also like khali dose only. Either improve the quality of it or please remove "Davangere" from your hotel name.

The dosas are not tasty because they are not made using wood fire or charcoal. The butter used is not white traditional butter. Chutney taste is very average. So Food is not authentic. It doesn't represent the true davangere style.

Amazing taste and quality.. Vada's are crispy just as I like them.. The Masala Dosa is one of the best I have eaten so far.. Soft, buttery and crispy at the same time; and the aloo filling was spiced perfectly.. A must try for breakfast cravings..

You don't get that taste of Davangere . I could tell it by the look of the dose. Chatni is no where compared to one in Davangere. Overall is good. Nothing like authentic Davangere taste even though the cook is from Davangere. Why it doesn't make authentic : not wood fire . Ingredients is from local shops and water ofcourse

I'm a regular visitor to davangere district only for benne dosa my daughter enjoys it a lot and if you want the same taste in Bangalore this joint in yelehankha where you get the same taste it is Superb.

Tried the butter masala dosa here. It was fantastic!! Just the perfect combination of soft and crisp! The accompaniment of the potato with cinnamon chutney was perfect too! Enjoyed it thoroughly!

There are several Davangere Benne (Butter) dosa outlets in Bangalore and this is one of them, located in Yelahanka. The benne or butter dosa here doesn't differ much from what we get at other such outlets. The only difference is probably a bit more hygiene (some benne dosa outlets cook on wood fire and that tastes good but often leads to poor hygiene) and availability of parking space on the road in front of the shop. We tried Benne Masala and Benne Open dosa (open dosa is called so because it is served open and with a generous dusting of gun powder a.k.a the Chutney Podi). Both tasted really good and were priced reasonably at Rs.50 and 60, respectively. Nothing out of the world about this very small eatery but one can get taste of authentic Davangere Benne dosa here. They also serve Idli and Vada.
