I used to visit this restaurant before the lockdown. This was reopened by the new management after closing for a couple of months during lockdown. The new management seems to have NO interest in the biz. I visited two months ago and was too disappointed. The waiter served the starter and got busy with some book work near the counter for 30 minutes. I had to shout to draw his attention. Food was cold and no taste. I felt, I wasted the money. I don't want to be harsh, but my one word review it's "hopeless".

Visit this outlet to buy fish for my cats who love sardines and mackerel. Now, what's different here is that the owner is a Manglorean Mr Marakal who is also from my native place. The variety of fresh fish is awesome. I love the crabs, mussels, and prawns. And the prices super reasonable. The outlet is part of the State Fisheries Department. And right along you get excellent service. They clean and cut the fish just as I want it. Just imagine they cut the mackerel down to cat bites size. Super! And right next door is the sea food outlet. Want to feast on seafood? Try them out. Authentic Mangalore style cooking.

Visited this place on on Friday to take some parcel, since reviews were good, so I was hoping food will be good. Had taken bangda fry and prawn ghee roast. Bangda fish was stale, no way its near to fresh and prawns had become too dry and hard. The masala was applied throughly,it wasn't even sticking to fish in both items. Not worthy of a place to spend your money.

My love for sea food is unexplainable, So I felt the restaurant should look into retaining the authentic costal cusine taste. May be we reached the restaurant by 3pm we didn't get most of the items from the menu and beer dosa wasn't hot and more over it shouldn't have been that thick. If compared to other matsya darshinis I really didn't like this much. It should be a pride place for costal food please work on it better.

It's not very clean here. H owever, a great place to eat fish meals. The rates are seasonal. I had rice and fish curry ordered: Taste - 4/5 Squid Fry: Taste: 2.5 out of 5 The squid had been thoroughly cooked and was now extremely crispy and dry. Mackarel Rawa Fry: 4/5 for taste. It's flavorful, crunchy, and fresh.

Best place for fish fry. Variety of seafood under one roof. Not a great place for dine in. Take away recommended.

Matsya darshini is unique stall that has both fish outlet and restaurant. Fish outlet is very clean and neat. We xan buy varieties of fishes here. We get black and white promfet, katla etc. We di get dry fishes also, they sell dried prawns in sealed packets. Price is also affordable compare to market. I find fish also fresh thogh they keep it in ice.

Is not a fashionable outlet, but offers fresh sea food, equipped with cooling systems and turnover is good ensuring freshly reveived catch from the coast ( previous evenings catch). Moreover the prices are very reasonable indeed, since it doesnt have any fancy gadgets.

Decent collection of sea fishes available here. Try to know the days when new stock comes so you get fresh fishes. Sunday’s are usually crowded and stock tends to get over fast. Try to be early if you come on Sunday

This is a unique one which has both the fish outlet and restaurant beside it. The food was good but could've been better, and need more spicy cause it's fish dishes . it was a well experience the service was very great and the owner was also very kind. The only thing is you can't see this restaurant if you're in the roads You have to be on the street walking to find this restaurant or you have to follow Google maps Overall good restaurant.
