Small and homely place with almost gone cooked food. It's not really a mainstream restaurant and seating options are limited in fact, when the two makeshift tables placed by the roadside are taken, the only option is to sit in the car wash across the road. The food however is true to Kerala and reminiscent of the local meals available in any honest wayside Kerala eatery. Their speciality is the "pothichoru" a meal of rice and curry accompaniments with a choice of veg, fish or chicken. The owner is a good conversationalist and keeps you busy if you're inclined to converse.

Have ordered through swiggy from this place for authentic kerala breakfast dishes.Appam,puttu,kadala curry,veg stew,idiyappam evrything was fresh & tasty.The only set back was after seeing menu in photos on google price of curry compared to what actually is charged when we order through swiggy is almost 3 times.Other than that taste wise its really good.

Damn, this restaurant is way too expensive. Food tastes good. But we paid 560 bucks for breakfast for two people. We ordered 5 appam, 1 puttu, 1 veg stew, 1 kadala curry and 1 chicken curry. We wer served in plastic container. As per menu pictures, the bill should be 300-350. Stew, kadala curry is mentioned 35 in menu. 120 for chicken curry. We ordered these many items looking at the menu and the less quantity was justifiable. But to our surprise. The bill was double. When we asked the owner, his reply was it’s a very old photo of the menu. We wer charged 560/-. Pathetic experience. Owner is a nice man, but cheating people by hiding the price of items and not removing the old menu pictures speaks volumes about this place. We could have eaten two mutton biryani in a good ambience restaurant for the same price. So please avoid it unless you wanna spend 300/- per person for breakfast. Thank you.

Finally visited this place after having heard from my colleague. My first experience.... reached at 3:15pm for lunch...thou we reached pretty late and the last customer for the week ( they don’t serve dinner on Sunday and Monday is a weekly off) , SURESH the restaurant owner hosted us and served us “Podhi Choru with Chicken Pepper”. The Omlette tasted yummy 😋 Must say, amazing taste and was quite traditional in taste and enjoyed the conversation with SURESH. I wish him all the best and waiting to take my wife sometime next week , who’s review wud be the final 😀

Authentic homestyle Kerala food, hidden in a narrow road. Unfortunately they have stopped dine in. It's only takeaway or delivery joint. We were touched by the behaviour of the friendly owner, and super impressed by the food. Matti fry was at its best. Appams were to die for with fish curry. Must try

This is not authentic kerala food. We ordered pothichoru. The price was on higher side and food tasted bad. They try to serve food in a pictureque manner but tastes bad. Fish had raw smell of not been cleaned properly. The kadala curry was also bad to taste. There are better kerala restaurants. I looked at google reviews and visited that place, but was in total disappointment. Never try it here. Onky takeaway available

I am usually eat non veg but Cheta’s kitchen made me fall in love with their vegetable stew. And their puttu is soft and delicious Cheta actually made my Sunday happy by their good food. +1 for friendly staff

When there to buy chicken briyanni, as it was mentioned in menu in one of the picture posted. But with a shrouded tone was told that briyanni was never there , except for a full kerala meals.

Tried all the different available podhichoru options available on swiggy and Zomato, nothing comes close to the podhichoru (chicken and fish) here. Highly recommended if you want to try authentic Kerala food. Thank you for the amazing and sumptuous food.

Awesome food. Tried their appams, egg curry, and sambaar today for breakfast today through a delivery app. Super tasty healthy food which was really easy on the stomach. Their sambaar is thick and loaded with vegetables unlike the plain watery sambaar you normally get in restaurants.

I rarely rate places 1 star. But this was spectacularly bad food. I ordered one pothi chor. Chicken tasted stale as well. Cannot be called Kerala food by any stretch of the imagination. Not sure what the other reviews are glowing about. Never again!

Ordered Kalan, Aviyal, Palada and Wheat payasam today as part of Onam sadya. The first 3 dishes were stale. Earlier orders from here (mostly non vegetarian) were acceptable quality, but today it was a horrible experience.

Ordered kerala sadya for a function at our home. Food was very delicious and everyone enjoyed the meal. Satisfied with their quality and service.

Good to order online like fish pothichoru and all other Kerala style dishes. But they take only online orders like Swiggy and Zomato
