This is not a place that is highly visible when you are searching for hotels as this is struck in the 2nd floor of a crowded building that already has got a different vendor in the 1st floor whose name board towers over this one. Once you enter this place this is a neatly decorated place with indoor AC and outdoor for smoking options available. Some of the arrangements are very neat. Service is great as the staff is very courteous towards customers. There is good amount of food options available including vegetarian options. Good place to try out different flavours and can definitely take a large group to this place.

Newly open outlet in Sahakar Nagar and one word that describes this place is ,"amazing". It's near to barley and grapes cafe on 60ft road. The ambience of the place is just perfect with a perfect mix of lighting to carry on never ending conversations. There is outdoor and indoor sitting available. Outdoor mostly for people who smoke. When i visited the place, it was rarely occupied but within no time it got full. First time I saw so many families at one place in such gastropubs. The food is too delicious and comes with the lightening speed. The service is very fast and the staff is also very polite. They also serve some complementary dishes obviously small portions so as to make people aware of their cuisine. The food is well maintained fusion food with all varieties. The mocktails were also superb. Overall must visit place.

Such a lovely spot to relax! There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Ambience is pleasant and perfect to spend time catching up with family and friends. We tried a couple of vegetarian options - tandoor momos, Pani puri shots and masala fries. Each one of them tasted soo good! We also tried the veg kheema with garlic naan and Malabar parotha. The garlic naan was a garlic lovers delight as it was loaded with garlic. We also had the guava and mixed fruit mocktail. They were fantastic too. Also a note about the popcorn which is served on a cute jute bag.. Definitely coming back to try more food here 😍

One more feature restaurant added to the list in Sahakarnagar, I have been hearing a lot of this place around a month now and finally took time to visit this place for lunch along with family. The booking process was very easy through dineout app and I got the confirmation within minutes and someone called me from the restaurant to confirm our dine-in visit. They have a great menu with variety of food options with a twist Indian and continental food ( fusion food ) . A good place to compete against the monopoly of Druid, and others like Watson and Barely's. Although we don't get brewed 🍺🍺 I don't really miss the drinks given a options they have on the Bar. Definitely recommed this place with family and friends. I hope the quality, taste and service continue to be the same for days to come. I dint give 5* due to non availability of parking services and that is something you have manage on your own .

This place has become our go-to spot. Love the ambience and thoughtfully curated menu. The staffs were extremely courteous and patient. The price was absolutely reasonable for the quality, quantity and the presentation. The whole places oozes good vibes and it is definitely on one of my all time favourites.

Visited the place on a Friday Night to grab a few drinks and dinner. They have valet parking which is good. The Ambience was neat and cozy. The staff was helpful and always ready at my service. The Cocktails were well made and satisfying. The Appetizers were all tasty and perfect to go with the cocktails. They also served popcorn and shots on the house. I ordered for their version of Pizza called Flat Bread and it was minf blowing. Also ordered for a Mug Chocolate Cake which was nice, except the chocolate sause being a bit too biter. Overall this place is an excellent place to spend an evening.

I recently dined at 'And It Was Called Yellow Modernist Desi Kitchen + Bar,' and it was truly a delightful experience. The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and attractive, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. The food is amazing, with a great taste and a strong emphasis on hygiene. The complimentary starters were a pleasant surprise, and the chicken wings were literally finger-licking good. The butter chicken was a masterpiece, deserving a chef's kiss. This restaurant is an ideal place to spend quality time with family and friends, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and spacious seating. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, ensuring that the overall dining experience is not just about the food but also the warm hospitality. I highly recommend 'And It Was Called Yellow' for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Sahakarnagar has this lovely outlet that you must visit! The place draws inspiration of its name from Coldplay’s song and serves Modern Indian cuisine bringing very local ingredients and recipes and bringing its own twist to it! Must tried are Sindhi Radha chaat, baked litti, charcoal thatte idli, Super Singhada salad and chicken tikka! Among desserts, baked yoghurt with filterkaafi flavours is good! Awesome hospitality by staff here! Love their energy as well! It’s a must visit

Talk about most bar and kitchens with gourmet food and all you’ll hear is renditions of various International cuisines always. But "And It Was Called Yellow" Bar n Kitchen promises you an epicurean journey across the Indian culinary kaleidoscope. Who would've thought Indian food could be reinvented and reimagined so. For those who like Modern Indian cuisine or even Modern Indian-inspired cuisine, AIWCY is the place to be. It's straight-up fancy, with the bar taking centre stage and the menu is local ingredients with modern presentation and style. The place looks exquisite with chandeliers and an elegant fine dine setup. There is outdoor and indoor sitting available. Outdoor mostly for people who smoke. From the moment I entered the restaurant till the time I left, my experience was very good. This is a perfect killer weekend spot with the groovy music, electric atmosphere and lip smacking food. I was particularly amused by the Chef's way of presenting each dish right from the starters to the desserts. Talking about the desserts, those two i.e. Motichur Samosa with Rabri and Truffled Rasgulla were the showstoppers of our spread. Coming to the food we tried : *Blue Breeze *Virgin Mojito *Coffee Toffee *Papad Paneer Tikki *Beetroot Sheekh Kebab *Palak Paneer Mirchi Bhajji *Jhalmuri Puchka Shots *Sindhi Dal Pakwan *Punjabi Paneer makhani *Vegetable Biryani *Motichur samosa *Truffled Rasgulla The food and drinks were mind blowing. So much creativity behind the conceptualization and implementation. The presentation, the taste, the techniques involved in the cooking....totally fabulous and unique. No negative remarks at all. This place is like a benchmark which has been on my radar for long but glad covered it finally. Overall I really enjoyed my meal here. The service is top notch and they give nice suggestions on what to order. The chef himself came down to suggest on some items which was really good. Looking for a pleasant fun evening with your foes or bae, Bookmark it and do visit.

This is my first visit to Yellow. This is concept resto . Nicely decorated. Well groomed staff. In fact for staff courtesy I will give 10 out of 10. Tables are placed with good spacing. Food if you are going only for taste , it's not the place. But quality of food is really good. Pricing is moderate. Bit in higher side . They serve good mocktails. Overall superb experience. Some tips , go early , like for dinner go around 7ish or before 8 for better seat location and for quicker service. Parking , we need to find ourselves on road side !!!

My friend recommended this place a few months ago and this is my second visit to this place. Visited this place to have lunch around 12.30. And we were the first to enter for the day after opening. The place has multiple bars and restaurants in the same building as well as the road. The ambience is really good. They have maintained the place really well and are clean. The staff are really friendly and patient. Especially Sameer who was the go to person. He even recommended a couple of dishes which were really delicious. The taste is really good. Liked almost everything. I did not like the magic mushroom much as it tasted odd and different since my first visit. And also it was my first time eating Lucknow Biriyani being a south Indian. I am not sure if the actual Lucknow biriyani tastes sweet. Personally not going to eat Lucknow Biriyani again. Overall a really good place to visit with the family. The parking could be a bit tough during peak hours as you have to park your vehicle on the road side.

I could have given more than 5 stars if there was an option. This place popped up on one of the table booking apps when I was casually looking for a place for dinner. The menu with its unique items looked very interesting. We had an amazing time relishing a variety of starters that were not just having a unique combination but tasted equally good too. The staff were very polite and smiling which made us feel even more comfortable.

The dΓ©cor is absolutely fantastic. They call themselves Modernist Indian Cuisine and though I have not tasted everything on the menu – I would agree with this tag. Indian dishes with a twist (which is downright innovative) . Sunday afternoon and this place was fairly filled up. The outdoor seating looked like a charm – something to try out the next time though. Foodwise – we tried to try out maximum starters and minimum main dishes - so the review will be more or less starter centric. Pani puri paneer tikka – paneer tikka cubes in the puris ; rest is the same. 6 puris – nice plating ; however felt that it’s a bit expensive for Rs.225/- . Anda Bonda – would say that this is a mix of Manchurian and ghee roast with deep fried egg thrown in ; very good taste – highly recommended. Jalapeno malai tikka chicken – absolutely well made and the taste actually blends in well – Jalapeno and butter with chicken in the tandoor – highly recommended. Yellow style raw papaya salad – can give this a miss ; have tasted better papaya salad elsewhere. Punjabi Murg salad – jerk tandoori chicken with good salad – definitely recommended. Railway wala omelette – this is an all time fave for me and family – hence gave it a try. Gives back the memories of waiting for it during train travels – and should say that this is very well replicated. Loved the taste. Andhra fish and chips – Deep fried fish with a Andhra tinge in the batter – liked the spicy taste. The masala fries were fiery to say the least !!! Don’t go for this if you are expecting the Brit Fish and Chips. Β Chettinadu chicken curry with naan – again highly recommended. Chicken was well cooked and the curry rocked !!! Overall a good experience – would recommend the management to revisit pricing of certain dishes. Will definitely visit again.

This new restobar in Sahakar Nagar has some good Fusion food with outstanding cocktails. Great ambience and the staff is very friendly. Cocktails here were very refreshing. We had Tandoori Martini, Dil Maange more and the unique Chocolate Pani Puri Vodka Shots. Tandoori Momos, Yellow style Paneer Tikka & Layers of Heaven made for some yummy small plates. Matka Dum Biryani is a must try. As for desserts, we had the Motichoor Samosa. It was so light and tasted out of the world and was the perfect end to a meal.

My recent visit to 'And It Was Called Yellow' in Sahakar Nagar left me thoroughly impressed with its unique blend of modern Indian, Italian, and Continental cuisine. The innovative twists on traditional dishes showcased the chef's creativity, making the dining experience truly exceptional. The Jhal Muri Puchka Shots were a standout, offering a delightful fusion of pani puri with a filling of jhalmuri. The Chilled Dahi Wada and Palakpatta Chaat were perfect palate pleasers, providing a refreshing start to the meal. The Signature Dahi Ke Kebab stole the show with their crispy exterior and irresistibly soft inner texture, delivering a burst of flavors. A pleasant surprise was the inclusion of Crispy A Cafreal, a Portuguese dish, which expertly tantalized our taste buds. The well-thought-out menu, featuring a mix of Indian, Italian, and Continental delights, offered a variety that catered to diverse palates. The ambiance at 'And It Was Called Yellow' is both aesthetic and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere for a delightful dining experience. The beverage menu is equally intriguing, offering a range of options to complement the diverse culinary offerings. One commendable aspect was the generous portion sizes, ensuring value for money without compromising on quality. The overall presentation of the dishes showcased attention to detail, enhancing the visual appeal of each culinary creation. In conclusion, 'And It Was Called Yellow' exceeded expectations with its innovative menu, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance.

Wonderful, taste food , one can enjoy both Veg & Non- Veg cuisine. Very well maintained, gorgeous environment and beautiful interiors.... Loved it... I have given 4 stars because they need improve on their customer management.. Employees were switch on & off AC continuously to the extend that we, winded up the dinner well before n went another one. If an customers is not comfortable with AC , you guys need to ask them to move the table where few customers are or at the open air table. When customers at other tables prefer AC , without even intimating, you employees switched off AC (Because they were speaking their linguistic and even where making fun of other customers questioning them).. Maybe your employees need to know the meaning of customer relationship..

If you are looking for a modern twist to traditional dishes then must hop into this restaurant at Sahakarnagar, trust me they really offers a delightful fusion of Indian, Italian, and Continental cuisine. I just fell in above with the "Prawn cocktail' presentation skills & ofcourse the scrumptious taste. You know!! What sets this dishes apart is the innovative approach to the classic recipe, along with the servers' creative touch, adds a unique charm. The welcoming and chic ambience sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. I love their old fashioned cocktail which was intriguing cocktails and mocktails, presented with flair, complement the diverse menu. The Pani Puri Paneer Tikka is a must try!! The first bite was an explosion of flavors – the crispy Pani Puri shells, filled with succulent paneer tikka cubes, perfectly blended traditional spices, and a hint of contemporary flair. Complete your meal with a delectable dessert - " truffled rasgulla & Irish cream" and Lip-smacking Angoori jamun basundi. Overall, Yellow is a must-visit for those seeking a perfect blend of flavors and a contemporary dining atmosphere.

I don't really know who are the people rating this place 5 star. Ambience is okay, service fast but the whole point of a dining place is to provide good food and that is missing. Food isn't even normal in taste, let alone calling it delicious. We ordered matar Taco, jackfruit beet kebab ( too much salty, we couldn't eat ) , jhalmuri puchka and tomato shorba ( very spicy and salty )
