It is cute and natural but no hot water and there are too many centipede

Overall good experience with great guide Didot in Grass Root Homestay. Value for Money accommodation with simple authentic Indonesian breakfast. However no hot shower is among the setbacks.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this homestay. Owner were nothing but helpful and super friendly. The family of the owner is also very welcoming, treating you like their own family. Bedding were comfortable, although no hot shower, the cold water goes perfect with the hot and humid Yogyakarta weather. A serene stay with humble lounge for you to read or just enjoy the day.
