A statue of Kulon Progo Regency's Landmark. Nyai Ageng Serang is one of the National Heroine of Indonesia, and is a daughter of Diponegoro Prince. This statue is placed in the Y-intersections connected to the arterial road. The old statue has been replaced to the new one in 2016. My lovely homeland.

Cleaning or re-painting are recommended. This is considered an icon for Wates or even Kulon Progo Regency, so it needs more attention. Often mentioned as "patung kuda" (eng. horse statue), but locals often disagree because this statue more represent the woman riding the horse, the heroine, Nyi Ageng Serang.

If you are going to Jogja from the west, you always pass through it and look to the right to see if there are any raids even though you have a complete driving license, STNK On, but several times at traffic lights, both west and east, motorbikes without standard equipment such as helmets were approached by the police.
