Really cool hidden gem, not only is there a camping & caravan park here, the is a 4WD endurance track (make sure you have a recovery vehicle), aeroplane park/flight school, 737-200 jets and many other attractions to keep you occupied all the while you eat and drink at the Bar & Grill. The food is good and the drinks are cold. Staff and service are friendly and attentive. Prices are average/reasonable for the semi-remote location. Live band most weekends. Book ahead, because it's gets busy. Also pay attention to those planes, it's an active runway from sun up to last light.

Great food, over a couple of nights we enjoyed lasagna, bruschetta, broccoli bites, steak chips & a good salad too! Nice fire pit for cool evenings. Stayed in a donger- not quite what I’d call a cabin. It was a bit dicey for me navigating the gravel with a walking stick to the toilet block near dongers. Especially at 2am and 5am haha. I Actually drove down to the camp site toilet block as they were nicer and easier for me to get to. Kerry was very hospitable and Kelly our waitress was delightful too. We had a few good chats and enjoyed the stay. A great restaurant/bar and it is a perfect spot for relaxing. Good for families that are camping, or caravanning. Not too far away from York either and a nice drive. Thanks Gary, Kerry & Kelly - I hope to be back to enjoy more meals in the future.

Came for a family get together with a number of children aged from 14months to 16 years. This place has a child menu, high chairs and a small playground but was far from child friendly. From the moment we got there, the 2 year old was told off for touching plants because ‘plants are expensive’, 5 & 10 years were told to stop being rough in the playground when they were just rocking on the horses provided. Children were not allowed to play outside with adults, even with 16 year old present. Kids were told off for going to lake although no sign up saying you could not go. Giving up trying to play in the grounds of the restaurant the kids went for a walk down the road with adult supervision only to be told off yet again because a tip was down there. No sign up to say no entry. At no point did owners speak to any adults but went after the kids instead repeatedly. If you do not want children in your venue, don’t provide high chairs, kids menu or playground as this gives the illusion that children are welcome. The toilets were also the ablutions block for the caravan park and with a toilet and shower sharing a cubicle. There were dead flies and a dying cockroach in there and the shower and toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly in months. Would never return here again even without kids.

Awesome food. Always good quality & well priced. Air-conditioned in summer. Beautiful to eat out under the trees as well. Warm & friendly in winter. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend 👍

We had 31 orders which all came together on a very busy night. The food was delicious, homemade pasta, sweet potato mash, I honestly can't recommend this place enough. We did the very challenging 4x4 track during the day. A definite gem and we will definitely be back

Were going to stay for lunch but felt very uncomfortable got the feeling they don't like kids.Rather than have a quiet word in my ear he said it loud enough for everyone to hear. So we left.

Great location to stay or have a feed at the restaurant. Good food and lots of choices of drinks.

What a gem of a place! Caravan park was fantastic. Service at the bar was really friendly and the food was absolutely delicious 😋. Love the fire pit to!

Great food, nice friendly staff even though they were under so much pressure during new years eve celebrations. Understandably food was delayed a little but when it came it was hot, crispy and yummy. Drinks were flowing allllll night and the band made the atmosphere. We will be back.

Tasty food. Good sized serves for good prices. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. A great place to kick back and enjoy a nice meal.
