This could easily be a five star review. I wasn't amazed at the food, but I sure ate it up. First thing I would say is to label the bagels. Right when you walk in the door, you see all of these beautiful bagels, but you don't know what they are. I suspect 90% of the business is local and they know, but it would be nice to expedite the ordering process by not having the employee explain all of the choices to me as I feel like I'm holding up the line. I couldn't understand over the music so I just pointed at a cheese bagel and there are more questions, but I couldn't understand so a customer behind me had to explain to me that there are two cheese bagels. I was feeling like I was holding things up. Upon payment, for the first time in my life I hit 'No Tip' because I'm tired of adding $3.00 on to all off my self serve/self pick-up food when it's already more than I want to pay. My total came out to $15.50 on my $11.25 sandwich after I completed the payment. Despite further holding the line up, I asked how my $11.25 sandwich was $15.50 and the receipt was examined to explain to me that special bagels cost an extra dollar. I didn't know that or read it anywhere, but whatever...so I say "OK, that $12.25, how is $15.50?" Gal comes over and examines receipt and tells me there is 25% tip and asks me if I want to take it off, so here I am already holding the line up and be asked if I want the tip taking off in front of everyone waiting on me and I have to say in front of everyone that I hit no tip but never mind. I felt embarrassed and annoyed that I was once again paying over $15 for a sandwich. Next customer was seemingly having issues with the touch screen as well. When my sandwich was ready, I picked up and mentioned that they may want to check their screen and I walked out in silence. I read other comments and I have no doubt they are true...just wasn't a good personal experience for me.

Excellent bagels cooked perfectly. Had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a chipotle gouda, flavor was phenomenal. Also tried the cinnamon roll which was soft in the middle and not overly sweet. The cream cheese icing was out of this world. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

This local bagel place has a wide selection of bagels, smears and drinks. The bagels are super fresh and really tasty. There are some great choices of smears including a vegan tofu spread which is super delicious. The staff is really friendly. I would highly recommend this place for your breakfast/lunch cravings.

The place has a great ambiance, from the outside it doesn't tells you much, but as you walk in it has this great NY Big apple vibe, the attendance is great, everyone seems to be having a great time doing they job, the bagels are good, I was specting the bagel to be the mind-blowing stuff, but they were just good, the stuffing was plenty and good quality. Hope it was one bad batch I got my hands on to.

These folks know DOUGH! You think you’ve hit the jackpot with the bagels… but wait till you try the best French toast in the world made from their homemade challah-brioche magic. I truly do not think I’ve eaten a better French toast. Try it with the walnut maple cream cheese.

The breakfast sandwiches are the best! Really good bagels and the fact that you can order online and just pick up is really convenient.

VB is delicious and my go to breakfast spot recently. Keep in mind I'm from Denver, but I've visited NY a few times. Now that I've prefaced my review with that irrelevant trivia, these bagels are delicious and sandwiches hearty. I'm a huge sucker for fresh squeezed OJ and this place unexpectedly has it. I also love how you can cook the egg to order on the sandos and the many delicious smears and cheeses you can top em with (sausage egg Sammy on Chipotle Gouda wif green Chile smear? Duh.) Anyway, everyone who works here is real sweet too and you see bagels being made behind the counter. Perfection. My only complaint is--though a boon to my waistline and breakfast spending--they are no longer on doordash. For a brief few months, there was a non-chain breakfast delivery option in the valley...RIP.

Can't recommend enough. The place is good that while we were having breakfast the line was filled for close to 2hrs. The bagels are delicious, the coffee and oj are out of this world. Andrea (if im not mistaken) and staff were lovely and badass dealing with so many people without breaking a sweat and very friendly. Everything is made in shop and the proof is in the bite. Will come back again and you do too!

The bagels are absolutely amazing but most importantly the staff is 150%! I eat here every other day because it's on my way to work but even when it's super busy I never wait more then 10mins. PS- Thank you to the awesome server who remembers me everyday, I appreciate your hard work. Cheers

Best bagels and O.J. We have ever had! I was a bit startled when my total was $75 for 3 bagels and 3 drinks plus tip but after eating, we all agreed it was TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. Highly recommend the CO Upgrade and the cinnamon roll!

My first experience here was 10/10 amazing, best bagel sandwich I’ve had in a while. However the past 3 or 4 times my order has been horribly messed up and at this point I’m scared to go back because I don’t want to be disappointed again. I’m not sure if there’s a problem with online ordering or ordering over the phone but my order has been wrong every time. The bagels are delicious but I just want the one I ordered please.

Hands-down some of the best bagels I have ever had! The salt bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese is amazing! Staff is also friendly and chipper. Can't recommend enough!

Made the way bagels are supposed to be made! Had several dozen breakfast bagels delivered for a Sunday brunch. Delicious!! Arrived on time and warm. Everyone wanted to know where they were from.

This place has delicious bagels / spreads and lattes. My favorite is the Caramel latte with oat milk. They also have mimosa and Yerba if you prefer that ! The staff is very friendly and although it can get very busy/ lines outside they move very quickly . The staff works very hard. 10/10 !

Always great service. Always great bagels. Always fresh cooked eggs, not microwaved like the other breakfast choices in town. $10 is a bit pricy for a breakfast sandwich but it’s huge and is something to really enjoy. Well worth a trip to this cool little shop.

Great local spot and perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch. I will say they do not make a great bagel... Very hard exterior with a chewy interior. Certainly not worth over $12 for a 1/2 dozen

I try to stop for lox and bagel when I drive back to Denver on I-70. I found this place accidentally a few years ago, so delighted and surprised to find really good bagels outside of the big cities. Their ingredients are fresh and lunch choices are amazing!

Village Bagel is the best bagel shop on the Western Slope. We stop there (and go out of our way to stop there) everytime we travel between the Roaring Fork Valley and the front range. I recommended it to my family who now goes out of there way from Colorado Springs to pick up a bag of bagels. The everything bagel with everything seasoning on the top and bottom is the best.

I have yet to get a good bagel here. I too have been yelled at by the owner, for a 25 cent mistake on my part. It was quite surprising. The bagels are either stale or mushy. The pizza is a bit of a farce. They call it Sicilian, but who are we kidding? Lotsa dough and some meager toppings. The staff is delightful though.

The chili shmear reminded me of the taste of traditional new york style Jalapeño bagels. Bagels tasted freshly made with just the right texture, nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would come here again if I'm in the area. Definitely stop by if you're in the Edwards, CO Area Or passing through.

An everything bagel with seasoning on top and bottom. A vegan cream cheese shmear. Fresh ingredients. A smile from all. Yet a very small place, worth the wait. Well done girls.

My wife and I were headed West and were just passing through. Stopped in and ordered a lox and cream cheese bagel. They got me my coffee and I sat down to read the newspaper. The people behind the counter lost my ticket. I wasn't paying much attention. The lady behind the counter noticed I hadn't gotten my order, put a rush on it and that was that. Or so I thought. The owner came out and apologized to me and wanted to give me a dozen bagels as an apology. I said I was traveling and didn't have a need for them so he offered me two beers instead. I did have a place to keep those so, I took them. Also the food was outstanding. TL;DR owner is a good guy and goes above and beyond. Food was excellent.

LOVE Village Bagel! I go to dialysis 3 times a week in Avon and every morning before my sessions, I get a Turkey Club on a Onion bagel and it never disappoints! If I could give them 20 stars I would!

👍👍 Sometimes when you least expect it, in a place you never would have thought possible, you find a great authentic Chinese restaurant.
