great place to.meditate and walk. A Definitely tourist part of town, but not over crowded if you walk past all the Dumbo popular spots. Saturday and Sunday has a flea market that is worth the go. I love it here and find that this neighborhood has much changed for the better. I like that this area has the convenience of clean bathrooms nearby. Definitely worth a day out!! check it out!!!

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve been to! Very well maintained, you can take the ferry from the harbor when you arrive at the park to see lady liberty. You also get to see the infamous skyline view also from the park entrance. The park itself is so beautiful to walk around 💚

I love this park. It’s one of my favorite places in NYC. There are great views of NYC, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. There are great restaurants around the park. There are areas where you can play varies sports as well as a roller/ice skating rink. There is just a lot to see and do. Make it a place you visit on your next trip to NYC.

Nightlife at Dumbo seems very trendy and hip! I was genuinely surprised to see how nice and clean it is compared to time square area. Bridges and the park/ walks around the area are so nice and so many spots for great photos. It is a lot bigger than you think so make sure you give yourself at least 2-3 hours if you want to walk over the bridge as well

Unrealistically, gorgeous! It's more beautiful at night due to all the lights from the skyscrapers. You can actually see the Statue of Liberty from here, at night it's not clear. If you want a clear shot, go for the morning. The park is very nice to get breathtaking views of New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. The walking trail is very roomy and full of nature's scenery. This park is along the water, which allows you to use the Ferries to get around NY. There are plenty of restaurants near water to enjoy the lower Manhattan skyline. It's definitely a must visit for all tourists around the world.

Awesome view of the Manhattan skyline, easy access to ferries, the entry point for the Bridge crossing and a great spot to have a break or a carry out snack from local establishments.

This is a great spot to take wonderful pictures and enjoy the impressive skyline of Manhattan 😍 The Brooklyn Park is super nice and the food around (specially at the TimeOut Market) is also amazing. Just take a look of the pictures ;0)

What a great way to spend the day!!! The park consists of so many things for everyone. There are volley ball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, water park, ice cream places restaurants and shopping. The bathrooms are abundant and clean. Parking was easy since there are metered parking. 2$ an hour. Take the family and have an incredible day in Brooklyn.

If you were to walk across the whole bridge ( Manhattan to Brooklyn) it takes around 35 minutes depending on how quick you walk. If you can survive the first section on the Manhattan side with all the vendors and tourist build up the other half on the Brooklyn side is a lot more civilised. I did hear though that as of January this year, new York has banned all the stalls and vendors on the Brooklyn bridge although I can't confirm if that's true.

Super fun park to walk through (even in winter). Along the way, you are treated to amazing views. I walked from Soho, via the Manhattan Bridge, Dumbo to this park before walking back across the Brooklyn Bridge. I can imagine it's even more beautiful here in spring.

My absolute favorite park in the whole wide world. I recommend to any friends visiting NYC that this is a great stop. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and corporation take such great care of enhancing and preserving this park. I used to live in bklyn heights and would run through the park throughout the year and the landscaping is always being cared for. They keep adding so many new additions to the piers and it’s filled with endless activities and sections to enjoy.

One of the best places to go in NYC. Don't miss to go this place especially in the sunset. The sunset view is amazing with the Manhattan skyline. The park is really big and there's also a long trail to walk and bike. I recommend you to go there when you want to see the night view of Manhattan. Can get easily there with subway. There are lots of restaurants and bars here too. I will go there again if I still have a chance to visit NYC again.

The most scenic place at night in New York. Dumbo Fulton Ferry will be the best spot. You may take a small boat cruise.

This is a nice place to take a stroll and enjoy the view of the city. It surprised me by how quiet the park is despite it being surrounded by the city. I almost forgot I was even in the city while walking around. It is also definitely a great place to sit, hangout, and take pictures.

I love getting to visit Brooklyn Bridge Park! Everyone likes to take Instagram photos of DUMBO on Water St and Easter Sunday, but I think this park is the best. You have amazing views of the bridge and the Statue of Liberty if you walk down farther. There is plenty of space to run or walk your dog, and in the summer time, there are workout classes in the evenings and tons of programming and events. Pebble beach and the carousel some of my favourite spots.

First time in this peer. Wanting to visit since my last time in Brooklyn last year but didn’t get the chance to come. It has a nice view of the night skyline of southeast Manhattan. It gave me the opportunity to take some decent night shots. It rained earlier so it was muggy, but still enjoyable this early in the summer. Lots of people still in the park after 11 pm.

Brooklyn Bridge is definitely one of my favorite places to visit in New York City and I think it's a really underrated spot. There is plenty of seating along the river and amazing restaurants nearby. Watching the sunset here was truly beautiful and I highly recommend everyone to visit.

Lived down the street from here from 2018-2021. This was one of my favorite places to do walks at night, picnics in the day time until sunset, and would also do some photography shoots here. Great location. Calm and very beautiful. You have a great view of Manhattan. During COVID this was my peace location.

These views require no rating. They are a 10. What was a suprise is to see a very easily available public grilling place, where our group of over 100 people who was comfortably seated and cooking and having a good time with incredible views. Very nice idea for a barbecue with the family or group of friends

What a breathtaking area. We were able to grab some great NY pizza and catch the sunset at the Brooklyn bridge. I love being in this area. First time here but not my last time! I think the area is called “Dumbo” there were many bars, restaurants, and shopping nearby.

Beautiful park with great views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the NYC skyline. The area is easily accessible from the metro and has a few places to eat also. The park has a couple of grassy meadows to relax in while taking in the views or you can rest on one of the many benches in the shade. There was also a place to rent kayaks. One negative was that there were signs prohibiting dogs in the meadows but no one seemed to care.

Attended a family hangout at the Brooklyn Bridge Park and it was great. One thing I did notice was that there was a worker removing the trash as the bin got full. We really appreciated that, we didn't have to be looking at over flowing trash cans. Very clean, and the Ambience was great. Plan on visiting again.

First I'll will probably never walk the Brooklyn bridge again in summer. But the park was a great place to sit and relax after the long walk. Met my best friend for the first time in person here so it'll always be special to me. I was also happy to see there were plenty of water fountains with a way to refill your water bottle. Bathrooms were nice too. Great view and a beautiful place to potentially have a picnic. I'll definitely have to come back sometime when I can do more though. Good first experience though no real complaints.

A lovely spot for families to spend time together. Nice restaurants nearby. Carousel was a nice touch. The vibe was so different than across the river in Manhattan. It was worth the ride over. We took a ferry over and an Uber back so we got the full experience.

An amazing place to go when the weather is nice with plenty to do and places to sit. If you are looking for a place to see and photograph the NYC skyline, I can't really think of a better place that's as convenient as brooklyn bridge park. The length of shoreline covered means plenty of great vantage points. If you're just visiting, it a great place to go and enjoy the outdoors while still being free, though you'll likely spend money at nearby shops. There are also many events held here throughout the year. If you're not from the city, I strongly suggest taking the ferry from Manhattan since the nearby streets and public transportation can be confusing even for lifelong New Yorkers who aren't too familiar with the area.

Great place to get away and think. Cool winding bike paths, cool views of the bridges and the city, restaurants close by, outdoor dining, play areas for kids, courtyard area with benches and a table for you to eat, barbecues. It's a nice place.

Took the Mrs there for Mother's Day and what a nice place to spend a few hours with the family and eat ice cream. They got on the carousel and then we just spent the rest of the day looking at Manhattan and sitting on the grass. The atmosphere was pleasant and the area was very clean. I plan to go back at night and see my beautiful city lit up.

Love this park! I live in the neighborhood and often stop to take in the sunset. My family enjoys walking, table tennis, basketball, and handball in the park. It's also a great place for picnics. This summer, I plan to do kayaking, volleyball, and (maybe) pickleball.

This is a nice park in a scenic part of Brooklyn. It attracts lots of tourists and the views justify it. It is relatively clean but can get very cold during the cooler months due to the river next to it. Great spot for pictures!

Brooklyn Bridge Park with over 1.3 miles of waterfront, from the Columbia Heights waterfront district to the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, this treasure of a park offers breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan’s panoramic skyline and the New York Harbor. Tourists and New Yorkers alike can be seen admiring the iconic cityscape across the East River while strolling along a continuous promenade of six diverse piers. Brooklyn Bridge Park have numerous recreational facilities, including playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and Brooklyn’s newest World class roller skating rink. Opened in 2019, Empire Stores is a former warehouse complex along the waterfront Brooklyn Bridge Park within the neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn, New York City, in the U.S. state of New York. It hosts a food hall and market operated by Time Out New York, as well as an art gallery called Gallery 55. Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of the best places to shoot in New York with a great views of city skyline, Brooklyn and Manhatten Bridge especially by the sunset! Whether it’s your next workout space or a family outing to the historic Jane’s Carousel, From Winter to Summer Brooklyn Bridge Park has something for everyone! Enjoy 😉

Gorgeous little park! What an oasis for kids of all ages! My 5yr old & his 4yr old friend loved it there! I do wish there were more bungee swings (there long lines for that. The bathroom was very nice (esp for a park bathroom). And the foam floors are great, in the play-spaces. The slide space is so fun--nice sand! The views are also lovely -- esp along the water. Nice water refill stations.

Let me just tell you this is my favorite place in NYC. I come here just to relax, meditate and enjoy myself. The views at anytime are just so worth it. There is a nice walk from a block over Dumbo all the way down to the piers. It’s very enjoyable the views and the places around. This is close to the TimeOut Market so if you want to grab a bite you can come here. The market has a rooftop where you can go and see the view from up there, delightful. There are also different restaurants around. For me just looking at the view for a few hours does it.

A very cool space is always occupied by some activity. Recently there was a free photography exhibition. The place also celebrated the 140 years of the Brooklyn bridge. Only when you stand below the bride you realize the scale of the construction for an one and half century old bridge.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Brooklyn Bridge Park numerous times with both friends and family, and each time has been a truly memorable experience. This park is an exceptional destination that effortlessly blends historical charm with modern beauty. The Brooklyn Bridge itself is an astonishing feat of engineering, constructed during the 19th century and completed in 1876. It stands as a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of that era. Walking across the bridge or simply admiring its grandeur from the park is a humbling experience that allows you to appreciate the incredible design and the history it represents. Located conveniently near the Dumbo ferry stops, Brooklyn Bridge Park is expansive, providing ample space for leisurely strolls and sightseeing. As you explore the park, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan, offering a unique perspective on the iconic skyline. The juxtaposition of the towering skyscrapers and the graceful arches of the Brooklyn Bridge creates a mesmerizing scene, particularly during sunset when the light dances across the city. One of the highlights of visiting this park is the opportunity to capture stunning photographs. The vantage point allows you to frame the Wall Street New York Skyscrapers with the Brooklyn Bridge, creating a picture-perfect backdrop that will undoubtedly leave you in awe. These picturesque moments will create cherished memories that you'll carry with you for the rest of your life. I highly recommend adding Brooklyn Bridge Park to your itinerary when visiting New York City. It is a must-see location that encapsulates the rich history and undeniable beauty of the city. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a photography lover, or simply looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat, this park has something for everyone. The combination of the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge, the panoramic views of Manhattan, and the tranquil atmosphere make it a truly magical place. Don't miss out on this exceptional experience - it's a true gem of New York City.

This is definitely one of my “go to” places when I want to go for a walk, or go biking. It’s a very nice park and place in general. It’s clean, spacious, and has beautiful views of the ocean, and plants. It’s also a nice place to take photo shoots, spend time with the family, or for the younger ones to have fun. The park offers so many things you could do there. Some things the park includes are soccer fields, Volleyball Beach courts, basketball courts, small sand areas, barbecue grills with tables, small parks within the park, a bicycle lane, some restaurants, areas for picnic, boardwalks, sitting areas, and so much more. I especially like how the park placed the sitting areas in front of the beautiful views. It’s nice to sit having the ocean, sand, and manhattan right in front of you. If you’re planning on coming here, do not hesitate. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Really cool park! Has a bunch of fields to sit in, each secluded from the others so even though there are a lot of people overall it feels like you're with a small group. Lots of statues, a few kinetic art pieces that you can interact with, and a lot of trees and foliage. Excellent bike paths, and excellent paths that are a little out of the way that connect back to Brooklyn or make you feel like you're in a little secluded world. Also within walking distance of the famous pizza places, the ice cream place, and many wonderful views of the water and city.

The best views of Manhattan are in this park. Great place to chill. Plenty of open space to hang out with friends and be socially distant. When the sun sets, it becomes a great place to bring a date. The ambience is unmatched when it comes to this park. They also have an area for kids, and a dog park.

  • 4/5 Ruslan S. 3 years ago on Google
The park itself is nice! Good play to bring kids to play. There is also Cafe opened near the beach courts, as of 8/25/20. You can grub some salad, sandwiches or pizza there, as well as alcohol drinks. The volleyball courts, though, are getting too crowded in afternoons. If you want to get a game, you might need to wait for over an hour, depending on days.

The Iconic view at pier 5, the boat marina, the picnic and grill area, kayaking, children play grounds, so many sports and Jane Carousel. The ice cream parlors, ferries police security skating, floating pool.

Very nice place to skate. They would have received five stars but the mats were uneven in some areas making it dangerous to skate.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of the most magical and beautiful places in New York. Grab food from Empire Stores, an ice cream from Brooklyn Ice Cream and walk around the park past Jane's Carousel. Sit on the benches or the grass and take in the view, I love coming here with friends and family. Bring your camera and enjoy.

The first few times I visited New York, I never though to visit the Brooklyn Bridge Park, but it’s really a must see. I went in the afternoon and the park was fantastic. It has places were you can take Instagram pictures, playground for young ones, a small beach-like waterfront to soak your feet in and the entire Manhattan sky-line view. This might be one of the best parks in New York and it’s small and perfect for a picnic or afternoon trip.

Great views of the city here. Though on the weekend it gets pretty busy and not everyone wears a mask or practices adequate social distancing. In particular the barbecue pits can be more crowded with gatherings. It's a really beautiful park with lots to see and do. You could spend hours just admiring the views of use the work out equipment and courts on the piers. The bike path can sometimes be overrun with pedestrians who don't notice it's a bike path so bike with care.

November end was pretty cold for NYC. With temperatures around 0-5 celsius, it still was a bright sunny day. It had a spectacular view of the skyline of NYC. One could spend all day here. There are rock climbing walls, you will notice people on their bikes, along with roller skating rink, basket ball courts etc.

When on this side of the river, take a walk around here. Along the soccer pitches, along the park areas, and just take in the skyline and the water. Day or night, this is a great place to just soak in the atmosphere of the city

This park is highly highly impressive. Brooklyn is in need of more green space and parks, so I'm glad this project came to fruition to fill in that gap. This is one of the world's wonders.

I visit here all the time over the years of living in New York, it's a great park for hanging out with your friends, family or you're other half. Relaxing in the summer months for cooling off and an excellent place to see the city skylines. Dumbo is close by as well.

Nice park, good views from the river to lower Manhattan. Seems this downtown park might be a bit undiscovered. Not terribly busy. Bonus playground for those with young ones. You really don't want to drive here. Walk, train, ferry or bike are all realistic. Walking distance to the photogenic Washington street if that's your thing. Timeout indoor markets is also here which is fun and offers rooftop views over the river.

I encourage everyone who enjoys nature to visit Brooklyn bridge park, it has an amazing view of Manhattan, and you can have picnics and family gathering. It is great to take someone out on a date, catch up with a friend, or to be alone with yourself. Although it is downtown which is in the city. The park has a way of making you feel connected to nature while enjoying the scenic views. There are also various of restaurants around the place as well as some sweets to indulge yourself when you do get hungry. Although I usually go to the park in the evening until night. I can assure you, you will enjoy yourself regardless if you are a morning bird or a night owl.

THE ONE AND ONLY, BROOKLYN BRIDGE. And ICONIC scene. You will people from all around the world over here and you will see amazing events. I’m talking weddings, proposals, engagements and heartbreaks. I’ve seen pregnancy pictures and baby pics too. You will find the most romantic people here. I really do this this is a MUST DO for your trip to NYC. Or even if you live here, I recommend to come here at least once a month or two. Because it makes everything seems more meaningful. I went walking with a cute girl that day. And with the Manhattan background it really makes everything sparkle. Come… I do recommend it.

Absolutely love this location for personal photo projects as well as client photo sessions. There are so many vignettes and little nooks to take photos. This is truly my first choice of location when working with clients. It's also a great spot for meditation. To be able to sit on the rocks and look out at the water... so calming. There are also walking trails and benches. This park is designed for the community and I love it.

Beautiful park with breathtaking views of the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. The walking/Jogging trail is lengthy and well laid out. There is trail inside lush greenery which gives a feel that you are in a jungle. There are public toilets and benches for seating. There are few piers constructed over water. There is $2/Hour parking available. I went at 6a just in time when the park opens for public so parking slots were empty.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is a rewarding finale to a walk across the iconic bridge. This picturesque spot offers breathtaking views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge itself. A serene escape amidst the city bustle, it's a must-visit for the stunning scenery alone. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park! I completely recommend for everyone to go at least once to enjoy the places that it has and the view of Manhattan. It would take you half a day to go to one end of the park to another, but you will enjoy it. There is a lot of things to do. You have the carousel, the tennis, basketball, picket ball courts, the playgrounds, the beautiful scenery, plants, etc. The view from the rooftop of the Empire Store is beautiful! Just go and see it for yourself.

Our son wanted to play basketball while we were visiting NYC. We did the tourist thing and walked the Brooklyn Bridge and walked to BB Park. It was a long walk, but it was so worth it! The views of the City lite up at night were unreal. It was so pretty that most of our pics look like fake backgrounds. The park was a wonderful place, lots of people out playing basketball, handball, and roller skating. It was well lit and very clean. So glad we visited!

Beautiful during the day or night. There is a 25 hour sports complex on the pier where you can play all kinds of sports. So many great restaurants and bars. Definitely family friendly.
