The Jolly Nyame Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Jalingo, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is home to Taraba FC

The stadium provides room for almost all the common sports in Nigeria ranging from, gymnastics, to badminton, Tennis, Volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, football, Handball, Karate, Dancing and a host of others. Individuals also organize private daily exercises for working class men and women which holds from Monday through Saturday morning and evening sessions. You register for a fee that is renewable on a monthly basis and come at your convenience. It has a bar in the stadium where you can drink beers. It has large environment that people rent for wedding occasions, naming ceremonies, political rallies etc. It also has a hall for rent which is slightly expensive when compared to the environmental usage. Pastors use the stadium to host bigger programmes like the recent "light up Taraba crusade" organized by RCCN and numerous events. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking. Good for both kids and adult of all ranges who wishes to keep their health in checks.

I never knew, jalingo has such a standard stadium. The first day I went there,I was lost in thoughts. God bless former Governor Danbara though I learnt he is late. Every good thing jalingo is always attached to his works. The stadium is of international standard With different play stations Lawn tennis Basket ball Football Relays Long Relays Gym house swimming Alot honestly. I love the peace

We had the inauguration of the Executive Governor of Taraba State and his Deputy to their second term of office on May 29, 2019, at this venue. It was a carnival of sorts. The venue, normally a sports stadium with very well laid sitting arrangements and properly fitted synthetic tracks, speaks well for a government making good attempts to provide appropriate social amenities for her people. So many activities for young people can be held at the stadium, including the indoor sports areas, if properly managed.

Not a state of the art gymnasium, but doubtlessly, one that gives you a go for your money! It will only cost you 3000 naira (~$9) for the first month of registration; and 2000 naira (~$6) for subsequent monthly renewals. It has instructors paired to trainees! Every Wednesdays and Saturdays, the trainees embark on an 8km long walk (hitchhike) from Taraba State Specialist Hospital to Tecnobat Housing Estate in Mile-Six. There is always music playing in the background to boost adrenaline rush during exercise/training! All in all, the Jolly Nyame Stadium gym is a place to be in in Jalingo if your aim is to keep fit or loose weight or add some muscle mass!😉
