Long sandy beach with easy slope to sea,plenty of space even if there is a lot of people. Toilets on place and coffe,ice cream vans park beside.

Great for walks all year around plenty parking spaces taking in great views and arriving on the boardwalk which is the process of being extended soon to go all the way to the Quality hotel highly recommend

Lovely beach, great walkways the length of the beach both concrete footpath and timber. Amazing views. Loads of parking with 4 plus carparks.

A fab beach long and sandy with some small pebbles. The sea was calm and clear the day I was here. A long boardwalk (2.84km) to Redbarn beach. Parking at various spots. Three separate lifeguard stations (that I saw). Various food and coffee trucks at various points along the beach. There are public toilets here too. There is a Quality Inn Hotel down at the Redbarn end of beach. The strand is very close to Yaughal Town proper, there is also a pub quite close to the beach too.

Boardwalk is great. Suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Easy access to beach.
