Myself and my husband have just returned home after staying 2nights .here at this gem of a guest house .a lovely home .in a great location ..we stayed in room 3.very comfortable bed and the pillows so nice ..John and Mary thank you so much for a lovely stay .great hosts .. breakfast was first class..from freshly squeezed orange juice . amazing sourdough pancakes .homemade bread..the dining area so cozy and music softly playing in the background.. complimentary filtered water when we asked .highly recommended Avanmore house ..it was lovely to meet you both ..best wishes from Susan and Vinny.xx

What can I say... Home away from home to true irish welcome Loved it here and their breakfast was so good with homemade breads (not one but 4 different types) John and Mary made me so welcome and at home too. Location was great too away from the main St but so close to everything too. Can't wait to go back next year for Pride in Youghal again. Thank you for a great stay as the bed was lovely too. 😍

Everything about our stay at Avonmore was wonderful. Comfortable rooms in a centrally located B&B. John and Mary are gracious hosts and Johns breakfasts are delicious. Youghal is a gem, fascinating history, and a beach as well. Well worth a visit!

I highly recommend Avonmore House Bed & Breakfast. We meet the lovely couple who ones the business. Very polite, educated, cultural smart people. We stayed for 1 night before the Cork City Marathon Festival. We couldn't serve the breakfast in the morning before we had to leave before 6am but we get a surprise homemade sandwich the night before as a breakfast option next day. Highly recommended

We had a lovely time here, we would have loved to stay longer & be pampered. Excellent room & amenities. Food was really good & the little unexpected touches made it an exceptional B & B. Would recommend

The best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. From the warm welcome given by Mary to the clean, spacious, nicely presented room, I couldn’t fault a thing. So many options for breakfast which was delicious. The nicest homemade sourdough bread, compliments to John. The whole experience was fantastic and the location is also very central. Definitely recommend.

Excellent beds, and a the best breakfast I've ever had - great coffee, fresh homemade bread and assorted sides, very friendly hostess. Excellent value.

What a beautiful place! The room is spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast is gorgeous... Everything is fresh and yummy. You definitely do not go hungry after that. Mary and John are helpful, polite and make you very welcome. It is perfectly situated;close to the sea and the town. I am definitely keeping this address for all our family stays in youghal.
