I was brought to the ER by ambulance on 2/21/2021 am, due to a fall that left me unable to walk. The nurse who was supposed to take care of me was a reincarnation of Nurse Ratchet from the famous movie. She was never compassionate towards me. I was in excruciating pain in my left hip and leg. I was given X-rays that did not immediately show the break. She started insisting that I get up and walk or I would be sent home. She kept telling me if I didn’t do so, Medicare nor my insurance company would not pay. She kept insisting and insisting, until I finally did so and was made take a few steps, all while insisting that I was in excruciating pain, and could not do it. I probably further injured my hip by doing so. Finally I was given a CT or MRI, which showed the bad break. This nurse was the most horrible and non empathetic person I have ever met in my 82 years on this earth. When I first was put on emergency room bed, I told her that I was urinary incontinent, and needed to urinate badly. She told me each time she left room that she would either get me a bed pan or a depends style brief. She never did either, even though I reminded her over a period of a few hours of this urgency. By the time I was finally admitted, my clothes, sheets and covers were all soaked and I was covered in urine. I feel that this nurse is a danger to all patients that are in her care, and that she should be discharged and should not be able to work with any patients ever again!!! My recovery has been very long, and I still cannot walk. I feel that this nurse’s actions made my hip much worse, by insisting that I stand and walk with a broken hip!!! E. Golich

Never in my life have I ever dealt with such terrible people. My grandma went to the ER with a possible stroke and was treated (better term would be neglected) for COVID. I watched her nurse, Yolanda, argue multiple time with my grandpa. He is the sweetest guy on the planet, and I was awestruck by her answers. He simply asked if they had her creon medication because she has type 1 diabetes and wasn’t allowed to take her own medication. My grandma is a stage 3 pancreatic cancer survivor and the nurse spent more time arguing about medication with my grandpa than she did caring for my grandma. She also has chronic back pain and was only given OTC pain relievers. When my mom called asking for an update, the nurse did not answer any questions about my grandmas care and threatened to hang up on my mom. The nurses then covering for her nurse couldn’t answer any questions I had. I was watched like a hawk because my grandpa had security called on him for simply asking for anyone in the ER to read back through her charts and get to the bottom of what was going on. I don’t care if it’s snowbird, flu or COVID season… all I can recommend is you spend the extra 30 minutes driving to Mayo or any other hospital that isn’t a Banner chain.

If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would. We bought my mom to the emergency room with severe head and neck pain and we are still here 4 hours later waiting in a CT Scan. I am absolutely frustrated by the lack of urgency. The only positive is the nurses are very nice. This hospital needs much better management. This is our last trip to this hospital.

As for compassion, there is NONE! We have been sitting here in the ER for 2 hours now and have been seen by only the triage nurse. The place isn't that busy! There is absolutely NO reason why patients couldn't be seen any sooner! There have been patients diagnosed and treated out in the waiting room. How is that following Hippa regulations? I am disappointed so far! This is absolutely ridiculous! Treat your patients like human not like cattle or just a number! WOW!

Went to the ER twice in a week. Both times it was a really bad experience. They attempted to try and draw blood in the waiting room were they check people in (this was not sanitary nor was there privacy). The staff was super loud, ladies were laughing obnoxiously. They had no care of being quiet in a professional manner especially when so many people are hurting and in extreme pain. The 2nd visit was worse. We waited from 12 pm till 9pm to get transported to another hospital. We had to carry our stool sample to the floor in a very, very small area with a Tetris style of curtains surrounding us. After asking them a few times to take our sample, we placed it on the floor and after 2 hours they finally retrieved the sample. I could go on. We will never go back to this facility…Ever. Someone from media should document this facility. It is outrageous in the way they run their facility. There should be some accountability.

Did pulmonary rehab at the sun city west facility and it wasn't even close to the description. They never went over what my co-pay would be nor did they ever asked for a co-pay every time I went! They said I could work on what I needed and I told them I needed to build more strength they said I would be able to do that in the gym, what gym a room with different hand weights! It's a one size fits all they do not have the space or the facilities to customize to your stage of COPD. They knew this program wasn't for me going in and after 7 times of the 18times they wanted me to come I quit and they said "I was right this program was not for me. Two months later I got a bill of $140 worth of co-pay they never told me I had. Why wouldn't I paid it every session? They're very nice people but never give you the correct information. Update: Banner reached out to me and I emailed them like they asked and I never heard back from then. I then sent them another email and they answered "they never saw my first reply and someone will reach out to me shortly". Well I never heard bank from Banner now I will add RUDE to this review.

I don't normally do reviews unless the service is great. And I will say that I am not sure what to expect in the medical world at all anymore as I don't frequent any medical facilities. My husband suffered from a fall where he landed on his face head first. This split his face open and completely flatten his nose, was completely covered in blood and the dish towel that we used to get him to the ER was dripping all over the facility and him. it took hours to be seen there was blood all over the rest room I cleaned as much as I could but it squirted on the wall of the waiting area and was completely un manageable. when we arrived there was no one in the waiting room and when we made it back to triage they did gauze it which I had to ask twice to have redone once we were sent back out to waiting room. He finally received care 26 stiches in nose on face and nothing for pain and very little direction for after care being it was a holiday and no follow up specialist were opened for days to treat the 3 breaks to his nose. He was intoxicated so I assumed they were trying to treat him like this to teach a lesson. BUT....... while I was waiting for his release a very elderly man arrived informed the front desk help that he had received a call from a doctor to arrive immediately as his wife was near the end of her life. Security was on break and the girl, lady or whatever was just soooooooo rude to him and showed no compassion about his not being able to enter the hospital to be with his wife. I get there is protocol and people need escort but compassion goes a long way. I literally started crying as it was so sad to see this poor man standing there experiencing the worst day of his life while she just went back to scrolling on her phone. Eventually someone from the back opened the door to question what was going on as the man knocked I believe and she did tell him escort the poor guy up to the floor before I spoke up thankfully. I will say I am thankful for medical personal however the righteous behavior is unjustifiable I expect more. Are my expectations off? Is this how it is out in the medical world? And one last concern no vending machines because of heath mandates but this waiting room was gross trash all over on the floors and just nasty someone did come change the garbage cans that were basically empty maybe because we were discarding blood paper towels in there I don't know but not one person wiped down a chair, cleaned a counter top or swept the floor littered with garbage. We were there for several hours and only 3 others checked in through the desk. I feel concerned. That is all.

Will never go back. Horrible service all around. Went in for shortness of breath and elevated heart rate. My shirt was pulled up in front of everyone in the waiting room, which was embarrassing. Told them I was lightheaded so they had me walk to a cardiac room. On the walk I almost passed out. Then I was yelled at for almost passing out. Waited hours to see a Dr. Someone came in and did an x-ray, i have no idea why. Then I was sent for a head ct scan. Again no idea why. Before the Dr looked at me he told me he was going to admit me. Not sure why. A nurse came in to give me medication. I asked her what the medication was for and was told it was for my anxiety. I don't have anxiety. Then she told me it was for high blood pressure. Not sure why they thought I had high blood pressure as the blood pressure cuff was sitting in my lap the whole time. I left AMA. My brother was in the room with me as he was the one who brought me. We were both a little traumatized when they disrobed me in front of him in anger because I chose to leave. We've gone our whole lives without being completely naked in front of each other, not sure why the ER staff wanted to ruin our streak (no pun intended) at this late stage but they did. Received a bill for a bunch of tests they didn't do. Called to notify them if the discrepancies. They said they would look into it. Have not heard back from the billing department, but it has only been a week so that does not surprise me. Yet received notice that they were going to send me to collections for non payment. Called again to billing inquiring as to why I was being sent to collections for a week old bill that has discrepancies. Was told that I had to pay it and if they discovered the discrepancies were legit, I would be refunded. Not going to happen. You have trained personnel that can't do their jobs properly and treat patients with respect, I have no faith that you would refund me my money. Go ahead and send it to collections.

Having just discharged today from Del Webb Hospital after a weeks stay, I found the skills of the clinical staff to be excellent! The RN'S and Aide staff were top notch, However, unfortunately, while I was there , I also saw some TERRIBLE examples of poor customer service skills, including management, (RN Managers). Having spent the last 20 years in the medical field, it was very disheartening to witness patients being spoken to rudely and dismissively by management staff. Perhaps there should be more customer service to teach management to LISTEN to the patients' issues before reacting. Along with providing excellent clinical training , perhaps it would be great to also include a little more in-depth customer service training as well.

Been here a few times over the better part of a decade, but never have I seen it this bad. Being understaffed and having no beds to room patients is not an excuse for failing to adhere to HIPAA and utter disregard for standard of care. Not least of which is counterproductive to seeking emergency care. More patients were not receiving appropriate nor adequate treatment for their ailments than those that were. Many never even left the waiting room. Nearly every person was being seen and giving their personal medical history in a packed waiting room within earshot of thirty plus other patients. I saw many that were discharged without leaving the waiting room at all. Nearly every staff member was completely callous and dismissive to every single patient interaction I witnessed, which was many because again they were not providing any means of privacy. There was a complete breakdown of communication between the staff themselves are and that resulted in a lot of reckless treatment by the staff. The doctor discharged me and then said he wasn’t aware of the entirety of my primary concern even though he told me he got a run down from the PA whom I gave detailed information to hours prior.

Now after a neurologist orders MRI (months later) findings are I have not only 1 but 2 brain tumors! I recomend you NEVER go to this hospital they are uncaring, incompetent, and a complete waste of your valuable time.

I want to preface this by saying the majority of my very scary experience/stay here for the last week was overall a 5 star experience due to specific nurses and doctors. I am only docking the 1 star for a very small number of experiences with two doctors that I had. For the nurses that made my stay here during a very scary time so much easier, and kept my nose above water, I will be recognizing them with the Daisy Awards, and delivering gifts as a massive thank you. So, I had went in initially for a swollen lymph node behind my ear that was painful and wasn’t going away after 2 weeks. I had recently gotten over what we were told was pneumonia, but was still having breathing difficulties with minimal movement, so I mentioned that as a secondary concern. They ended up doing an X-ray of my lungs as a precautionary, which led them to doing a CT scan of my lungs where they discovered my entire left lung was covered in blood clots, and my bottom part of my right lung had clots as well. They also saw a small 2.1 cm mass on my liver by chance, as the CT scan had shown the top portion of my liver. Due to this, I was placed on blood thinners and had a thrombectomy done where they removed a good portion of the clots to help my body have an easier time breaking down the remaining clots. I ended up having pretty bad pain in the following 2 days in the incision site, and an ultrasound revealed a deep vein thrombosis at the site along with a clot in my right arm in a superficial vein, whether these were new or not we do not know. They did a bunch of blood tests (many of which we do not have results for yet) and an MRI to investigate the mass. The mass thankfully was believed to be benign, however the MRI revealed multiple clots including one large clot in my major artery in my abdomen, and due to this, they did another procedure through the carotid artery again to place an IVC filter to catch any clots that dislodge and move to prevent them from reaching major organs. All of that to say, I was an absolute nervous, emotional, and anxious mess, knowing I am dealing with something that can become fatal very quickly. The nurses on the 3rd floor treated me like a long time friend, comforting and encouraging me, getting my mind in the right place at times with tough love, they massaged my back to help me relieve stress and one of them even braided my hair. They went above and beyond for me, and had it not been for their exceptional care, I don’t think I would’ve made it through it with my head on my shoulders the way I did (at least most of the time) Notable Nurses: Kelsey, Brittany, Elysa, and Melissa. Honorable Doctor mentions: The surgeons that did the procedures were incredibly friendly, kind, and took amazing care of me and took the time to explain the pros/cons and answer all of my questions and make sure I was fully informed and comfortable prior to the procedures. These doctors I saw had excellent bedside manner and took the time to carefully discuss my predicament and care moving forward: Dr. Romero with GI, Dr. Narayan with Hematology Oncology, and I wish I could remember the woman from Hospital I believe PA that followed me throughout, she was wonderful as well. Overall, I feel that Banner Del Webb took phenomenal care of me both physically and emotionally during a very scary time. Thank you!

I just moved to Sun City West with my wife and experienced pain in my neck that was unbearable. After 2 days of not being able to move my neck without excruciating pain and only able to sleep periodically sitting up, I decided to go to the nearest ER at this Banner Hospital on Sunday morning. I had the best experience at this ER that I can remember. The receptionist was friendly and attentive. I was escorted to an ER room after a short wait and the nurses did everything they could to make me comfortable with a pleasant attitude. The doctor spoke to me briefly to explain he would decide exactly how to treat me after seeing the results of a cat scan. I received injections of pain killers that relaxed me almost immediately. Some cortisone was added to reduce inflammation and spasms. I left feeling a little better but still sensitive to movements and bumps on the road. At home I slept most of the day and when I woke up the next morning I was almost back to normal. Now two days later I am back to normal and thankful for the wonderful care I received at Banner Del E Webb Hospital in Sun City West.

It's reassuring to have a team of expert and compassionate medical staff nearby. My experiences at Banner Del Webb Hospital have never been disappointing. I've always been treated wonderfully, and I appreciate the extra consideration given to me as a veteran. I have complete trust in the professionals and teams who have cared for me and my family. *It's also always very clean! Thank you guys!

yea i don’t recommend this place… the staff is VERY rude and under skilled… i asked for an update on my wait time when a RN Lisa in the ER response was “she’s not the only one here she’s just needs to accept that there are other people here as well and she’s not the only one. if she wants to leave then go” what happened to patient care!? as someone who works in the medical field that is so cold and uncalled for. i can clearly see there is a handful of people here all having their own ailment, but i just asked a simple update question because i obviously came here for my own reason. after 3 failed IVs and 5 hours of my life wasted with zero answers still…. i would rather go to ANY OTHER HOSPITAL than be talked down about loudly in a public areas or be a professional pin cushion. just my person opinion.

I was released today after having my gallbladder removed. I went to the ER a little after midnight, and was greeted by a wonderful woman, then sent to triage, and met with the ER doctor, who took my concerns very seriously and treated me with such kindness. When I was moved up stairs I was again treated amazingly by all the nurses I interacted with. The surgical staff was also amazing. I’d give them 10 stars if possible.

My family members live in Grand so they tend to have a bit of a track record here! I really have to give props to the amazing, attentive, professional nursing staff. Art, Heidi, and Heather have been watching out for my grandma and making me feel much more at ease as she recovers. Art, especially, paid extra close attention. He sat with her last night, asked her questions, and then even told me little things that she said that make a huge difference. My experience with the whole nursing staff puts me at ease knowing she’s in such great hands. I just hope my family and I can live up to the high expectations when we bring her home, soon!

I just completed a series of six visits/treatments at the Banner Physical Therapy department of the Banner Del Webb Medical Center. The therapy was for strength development related to my right hip. I found the office staff AND the physical therapist particularly friendly and knowledgeable. Based upon my experience I do not hesitate to recommend Banner Physical Therapy.

Absolutely the worse hospital I’ve ever been at … unfortunately I was in a lot of hospitals because I’ve had some illnesses over the years and few surgeries, but this I can say is hands-down, the worst Hospital I’ve ever been in my life I would absolutely avoid this place at all costs. I was a fire fighter for 25 years and a paramedic. I’ve seen dozens of hospital and their nursing staffs and this I’m telling you is the absolute worst I’ve ever seen in my life. Floor 3 room 313 day nurse Cory talked a good game because he had no skills so he had to try and be funny. Diana at night is fantastic and tries her best to help but her colleagues are horrible!! She should go to a good hospital like banner Estrella. I’ve since had interaction with my new nurse at discharge and she and all staff have been wonderful. I’m updating my review to compensate for the better of the organization!

My husband has had to come here several times due to being medical fragile atm (type 2 diabetic heartattck in January tube feeding from all of this) the ICU staff was hit and miss. One RN tried to give him a pill whole for his anxiety, even though she should have KNOWN he was NPO from shift change report... then when we both told her he cannot take pills by mouth she tries to make him take it in applesauce.... he's NPO due to THROAT DAMAGE FROM BEING intubateded The nurse then said well he can't take the meds then... his heart rate and BP where high due to his anxiety I'm a patient that just recently had a heart attack...the social workers are hit and miss as well. Trying to get home health set up for him not much communication from social workers had places they were calling calling me and my mother in law. And apprently they weren't hearing what the social workers were telling is.they also discharged him without being able to keep food or meds down. So he was back in the er after 24 hours. And that's when he had to get the jtube put in.

Took my husband to er twice between Christmas and New years, second time he was sent to rehab, he was sick and someone said gall stones but rehab would help to walk. He vomited 5 days and nights till I convinced rehab to have him seen by a physician at which time he was again taken to the er where he passed away. Why did they not diagnose him properly the first time in er.. If they knew what they were doing he may still be here.

One of the worse hospitals I’ve ever been to. They have zero empathy towards the patients. My dad was there for an emergency with his asthma, they put him in one of those small rooms right next to someone that was about to be disconnected, on their final minutes. After my mom fought them to move him somewhere else, they put him on a corner room and left him there all night long without giving him any food, and without the doctor that was supposed to see him that night coming in at all. He is also diabetic, so they actually put him at risk by forcing him not to have any sort of food. The only way that they finally got the ball rolling on taking care of him was when we threatened them with leaving to a different hospital, at that point they didn’t wanna deal with the possibility liability consequences of not doing their job and allowing us to leave with him and something happening to him. Truly horrible place that no one should take their family to.

Let me start by saying I have been admitted to this hospital twice this year to the oncology floor (I am an oncology patient) for infections and had the most outstanding experience (which is why I gave it two stars instead of one). But I am in the ER as we speak and this experience is SO different. First, they moved me to a little room in the ER where everyone is in the same room and there are curtains blocking off different areas so each patient has a tiny area where they will be treated. I heard a man discussing his finger laceration and fraction with a doctor, a teenager discussing his symptoms with a nurse - no privacy whatsoever. Then, my phone rings. It’s an ER nurse from INSIDE THE ER calling me and asking me where I am and if I left. I explained where I was in the department and she came and found me - they literally lost a patient. Thank goodness I could take care of myself. I have an infusion port and I know from the last two times I was hospitalized here that they have a “lines” team 24/7 to access ports. A nurse approached me and asked if I’d be okay with an IV because there was no lines team tonight. I responded that I would really rather use the port as I anticipated being here a few days for IV antibiotics and I was pretty sure from my previous stays that they always have a lines team here. Then they found the lines team. At this point I had been here for 3.5 hours and was in a considerable amount of pain. Then they moved me to a private room in the ER so they could access my port. The person who tried to access my port from the lines team did not know what she was doing. I’ve had the port for six months and never had to have a second stick. She stuck me three times and then I asked her to please get someone else. That person was much better — but four sticks? Come on. They’re actually painful. Then, they start antibiotics and give me some ibuprofen. Then, the nurse leaves. I have no call button, both sides of the bed are up, and I realize I need to use the restroom. So, I get up, unhook myself and head out to the hallway to find the bathroom. Next, they notify me that I have a room upstairs and I’ll be sharing with another patient. As an oncology patient, I was extremely uncomfortable with this because of immunocomprimization and my nurse told me I could wait for a private room. A couple of hours later, the ER charge nurse comes in and says I can take the shared room or leave because they needed this room for ER patients. They’re processing my paperwork right now so I can head to another hospital with better service. So disappointing after the amazing experiences I had on the oncology floor here in April and June. EDIT: When they called the hospitalist to discharge, they found me a private room in the hospital. So, I will be staying. VERY thankful to be getting out of this ER!

I realize that people come for medical treatments, and that is the important thing, but I have to comment on the room service, which is terrible. A patient gets 3 meals a day, and food can be ordered by phone or online. For the week I was here, EVERY order I placed arrived missing something. Coffee w/sugar & half/half. No sugar. Pudding or Jello .... no spoon Veg soup w/ pack of salt .... no salt Dinner w/ice tea ..... never got ice tea. These are just a couple of examples. Check your tray before the food person leaves, or you'll need to call and tell them, which will take a long time for them to bring what they forgot.

This is one of the worst hospitals I’ve ever been to in my life!! I went in to this hospital in excruciating pain from a cracked tooth/infection went to bone. Unfortunately they could not do much to help other then antibiotics and pain medication until my dental surgeon could take tooth out. They sent a prescription over to CVS for pain relief for 3 days with a total of 5 pain pills. It does not seem these doctors are very educated because it made know sense to pharmacist or myself that a doctor could not do basic math. I called ER to speak to attending regarding the confusion to be hung up and called back to talk with charge nurse ?? telling me that doctor would not continue sending prescriptions. My reply was I do not want continued prescriptions, I want the prescription sent to be corrected . I was told ER DR would not correct and I would have to go through the ER for entire process again because no further help will be provided to me over the phone. I believed the charge nurse was Nicole? She was unbelievably RUDE and did not care that I was already in ER Sunday from 2:30 to 12:00 am. Seems to me it’s a waste of medical professionals time to come back through a ER for a prescription that was sent to pharmacy incorrectly? Maybe time would better suit patients that have not been seen but from the reviews this hospital is not managed well at all. Especially when you have ER staff that hang up on you because you question what is being said. This hospital is in GREAT NEED OF A LOT OF QUESTIONING!! I have legitimate pain with a broken tooth and infection went to bone! It’s dangerous and could be life threatening and I was sent home given oxccodone/acetaminophen which is a low dose of pain medication. I’m from Orange County Ca and we have the best hospitals. From what I understand this is what I have to look forward to in AZ. I think any hospital with the name Banner on it should be stayed away from. TERRIBLE HOSPITAL AND TERRIBLE STAFF!! If you’re dying I’d would never go to this hospital. You’re better off driving to Palm Springs or Orange County then take your chances at these hospitals. Edit Hardin NP, Jasminder S Took good care of me when my CT scan came back on Sunday. Once CT scan came back they realized I’m not begging for pain medication for a silly reason. We go to a ER to get help when we can’t bear whatever our condition is. We don’t go to fight with staff and get 3 pages of opioid abuse. Pain medication is to be given when you are in extream pain!!!! I am very thankful to the staff who helped me on Sunday night!! Unfortunately staff at this HORRIBLE HOSPITAL WILL NOT PUT ME IN CONTACT WITH ORIGINAL DOCTOR WHO SENT PRESCRIPTION OVER TO PHARMACY. I’m not one that goes to hospitals unless it’s necessity. WORST experience!!! AZ seems to not have the best doctors and OR hospitals and it’s truly sad how patients are treated when they actually need help. Hanging up on anyone as a professional is not a professional at all and they need guidance and help. It’s sad they took on a job at a hospital and helping others as their profession. These are people you do not want employed and give caregiving a bad name.

I'm a PhD research scientist. I used to think Del Webb was a good hospital but my recent experiences changed my mind. I entered the emergency room and picked up Covid because they weren't separating possible Covid patients from others. A week later I reentered the ER with fever & Covid symptoms. They never tested me for Covid or separated me from others. They released me with "undiagnosed fever" . Two days later Walgreens tested me positive for Covid. My complaints to Del Webb were met with "we were following protocols". Seems like malpractice to me. Del Webb needs to do much better.

Emergency room Friday 3/3/23. About 15 individuals waiting with company. People were registered and given name band. We waited and waited and waited to the point where we started helping others that were there with their condition since no staff member would. Sick individuals were helping other sick individuals with ailments. No staff member came out to assist us. We waited for 6 1/2 hours seeing no one!!!! Cancer patients and other sick individuals left and decided to go elsewhere.

I had to provide 1 star only because it is required. Very poor care from both physicians and nurses. 1) my father was there for 1.5 weeks and they did not get him out of bed and he developed a sore on his foot and became severely deconditioned. 2) they stole his bag with his wallet and identification numbers in it then refused to do anything about it. I would be very cautious sending a loved one here. 1/11/2023 Editing this review. Monday 11/9 customer relations stated they do not handle patient belongings and for me to call the house supervisor. I went to the hospital and discussed with Rhonda the house supervisor who stated she would contact me that afternoon. Today 1/11 I have not heard back from the hospital. I phoned the house supervisor (Amanda) and she stated that I would need to call back at 14:00. Terrible customer service. Sent an email to the email addressed mentioned in the response and will post if I hear back from them. It is interesting that it is the same stock response to all complaints! Banner response to my email: Hi Jessica, Thank you for your reply to our outreach. I am sorry to hear about the experience not meeting expectations. May I have you provide your father's name and date of birth? We would like to send your concerns to the appropriate team. My response: I provided the information again! Let's see where this goes. Best Regards,

The staff in labor and delivery were absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I are first time parents and every single staff member was attentive and helpful and compassionate! We can’t tell people enough about the great experience we had at B.D.W.! When your staff feels more like friends to their patients, than employees doing their jobs… there’s something special!

Upon my first visit to Banner Del E Webb Medical Center I was introduced to Anna Mosley-Chavez as my PT. What I found with Anna was a pure pleasure of a very warm and caring person. She was willing to understand my needs and wants, thereby professionally determine a program of therapy that would allow me to walk and become pain free in my daily tasks. Thanks much, Allen Marsh

Very satisfied with the care that we received at the ER here. My daughter was suffering from a viral infection and was very fussy- she was almost inconsolable with how uncomfortable she was. The staff was very patient and kind, and went out of their way to help my child feel at ease. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant, the radiology tech was extremely nice, and the nurses were OUTSTANDING. They even sang to her when they were getting her vitals to help calm her down. The PA we saw was also very nice. We were in and out fairly quickly and I am very happy with our visit, especially since we are not from the area. Thank you so much for your kindness and wonderful service. :)

I’ve had therapy at this facility after back surgery. Then I was back after hip & knee replacement & fortunate to have Kim as my therapist. She’s not only knowledgeable, but very encouraging. My recent visit was especially rewarding as I had just lost my husband the week before. Kim is exceptional!

All of the people are so very helpful. Nick listens carefully to my discomfort and explains carefully when he adds exercises

First time going to this hospital. Staff in the ER were efficient and friendly. Got moved from the ER to surgery. The staff there in pre-op and recovery were friendly and informative, same with the surgeon Dr. Jones. The staff on the 5th floor follow the same trend of being friendly and helpful.

My mom was admitted to Banner Del Webb for 6 days on the 5th floor. I have never seen such poor care, lack of communication and empathy. There were only a handful of nurses that took good care of her. Her aide Ray was great and her nurse Emma on nights. Being a nurse myself I understand we get busy but there is no excuse for such poor care. I will never take her there again!

they overcharged me for my ER visit , had to sue them before they would do anything.... Sharon Lind in my opinion is a horrible Manager she has never once reached out I still have other issue and concerns and now have to take it to the next level . REACH OUT TO YOUR LOCAL ASSISTANT US DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR ANOTHER CLASS ACTION for overcharging of emergency room visits......

Best hospital around! Labor and delivery suite nurses and staff have gone above and beyond for all 6 years that I have had my children there. The most recent one; 3 days ago. All the RN’s, labor & delivery staff and all on call nurses were outstanding!!

Doctors are so caring and they actually listen when you speak. The nurses are dedicated and very kind. They work really hard and are very busy but they always have a big smile and encouraging words. The room was clean. The food was not so good! But the food was the least important. I felt better and I would go back there if necessary.

I was brought here in December of 2020 with Covid via ambulance due to having a low oxygen level. I was admitted for 10 days. About one year later, I was charged for insurance non-payment and deductibles due to this hospital billing department not billing under contractual agreement with Cigna. I had to do all of my own research of each bill sent into Cigna and follow up with their incompetent billing department. Today, I was notfied that after paying them $6,000.00 out of pocket max that they sent the remaining $1,180 to collections because Cigna refused to pay three years later. I guess they forgot to add that to my statement two years ago. Since AZ passed a law that medical collections do not affect your credit score, I am not going to pay them anymore than the amount I've already paid whether sent to collections or not. I do not recommend you go here and if you do, do not pay them anything! Let them get what they can from your insurance, but do not help them by paying any of your copayments or deductibles. I recommend Abrazo over all Banner locations. There is one in Goodyear and it's worth the short 20 minute drive there.

I would have given Banner Del Webb 5 stars but facilities were average, however the care I received was wonderful. I had two experiences at BDW, the first experience was with the women in the pathology department. Cindy, Shannon and Stephanie were all wonderful, Shannon even shared her own experience with bc. I was treated respectfully and compassionately. They are a great team of women and made me feel more comfortable. The following day was my surgery, and I had wonderful care as well. Mary in pre-op waiting room was an angel and shared her journey with bc as well, she was very empathetic and even came to the pre-op area to wish me well. My nurses were great, especially the nurse from Connecticut, I sadly forgot her name but her professionalism and positive energy helped calm jittery nerves. I already knew my surgeon Dr. Angeles and she was very thorough in reviewing all final details and addressing any concerns. The nurse anesthetist was also very thorough in reviewing all my health history with anesthesia, he even made a small change in my care to address a concern I had with anesthesia Before, I came to this hospital I was very anxious as some reviews were quite scathing, however my own experience as thus been positive.

Occupational Therapists for hands & wrists, Tom (full-time) and Jan (substitute) were helpful, professional, and cared about client progress and outcomes. They were informed, resourceful, encouraging and worked with clients to attain improvement potential, at a minimum. They listened and would explain conditions, discuss issues and work with clients in problem solving.

Went in by ambulance. They stuck me in the waiting room for 3 1/2 hours. Then the nurse immediately handed me off to the PA and the PA. Told me that there were sick people at home I could go home and be sick at home.. blood pressure was 171/146 but there was nothing wrong with me. There were so many beds empty on my way to the room. So many waiting! No Hippa … they ask you questions out in the waiting room for everyone else to hear. no privacy at all. I was so upset.
