So nice taste sushi. The duck have so tasty sauce and sashimi they make their own style. It’s so special. Recommend here but you need to wait a bit long seem have only 1 guy woking service here.

We had reservations, so they knew we were coming, yet getting our order in for appetizers and drinks took ridiculously long. The spring rolls were ok tasty and the sushi (not pictured because it took a look long, we we forgot to take photos b4 we ate it) was extremely average. I even ordered one of their house specialty drinks and had to ask if I was ever going to get it. What a disappointment this experience turned out to be. We almost ate at SUMO, but we chose this place as it supposedly was more local. I don't recommend.

It’s a nice place to dine in to end the weekend. The ambiance was good and cozy. The food was affordable and delicious. We came hungry and we were out with a full and satisfied stomach.

Excellent range and quality of food (including vegetarian options). We ordered a few sushi dishes, veg pad Thai, chicken noodles, duck dumplings, veg spring rolls and veg dumplings. With the exception of the veg dumplings (which were sweet potato filling therefore a bit sweet for our taste), everything else was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was slow but friendly. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant is much bigger than it seems from the outside and at the entrance. Nice deco and friendly staff. The service was a bit slow, but in the end it was worth the wait. Sushi was fresh and made beautifully. Quality & price meet.

Excellent sushi, i got nigiri spicy rainbow rolls and soft shell crab (warm) sushi and both tasted wonderful! I also got a miso soup and it was like a warm hug. Nott who helped me choose was also wonderful!

This was a lovely little place. Great sushi (only problem with this is it never fills me up!) and drunken noodles. Sitting by the door was unsurprisingly a bit chilly, and they were booked in most other seats but otherwise amazing.

This was our first time tasting dim sum and it was beyond all expectations. What a fantastic taste experience. Excellent service, chill and lovely atmosphere. Bobby was our server and explained us all about our dishes. We also had delicous crispy duck and wonderful sushi combinations. I had the cucumber wasabi martini and that is now one of my top favourite cocktails! This is a place we will visit regularly for Asian food in the city. Thank you !

Food was good, but if you have allergies you should avoid this place. We specifically told them we had a person highly allergic to nuts and they served us sushi covered with nuts.

Amazing food. I've tried some of the " tourist trap " places that serves sushi and they didn't compare to sushi here. This is the only place I would go back twice

One of the joys of travel is trying out different food. We typically never go back to the same place if we are on a short trip to a city. This changed with Redsun Restaurants. We came back here for dinner for the second night. The food here is just amazing, like you are in the South East Asia. It brought me a lot of great memories of my days in Singapore in the late nineties. Shasimi felt like the fishes were caught today and melted right in your mouth. Chicken satay we tried was tender, juicy and spicy 🌶️. Drunken noodles and spicy ducks were the best I have eaten in years. The chef knew us from the night before and made dishes as authentic and spicy as he could. Just to top it off, the bar tender even went out of his way to customize the cocktail with zero sugar ❤️. We loved this place and recommend anyone who is traveling to Bergen.

Very tasty sushi! Me and my wife really enjoyed it here, comfy place near the center with a very wide selection of food (not just sushi) and friendly staff. Would love to come again :)

This restaurant was a fantastic discovery! I have lived here for awhile and never have I eaten this well for this price. The setting was very nice with beautiful details all around the restaurant, making you really feel like you are at a legitimate Japanese restaurant. The service was perfect with very a kind and respectful staff, always making sure that we were pleased with the food. The chef was sanitary, and we could even see him make the dishes! The food was excellent, in fact one of the best Japanese food I have tasted. It was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to compliment the dishes. Nothing was left on the plates after we were done XD Just an all around perfect restaurant that highly recommend anyone that haven’t already been there!

The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had pork dumplings, seaweed salad and a spicy rainbow roll. All very fresh, very well made. The staff was very friendly.

4 stars just because it was hard to get our servers attention but the sushi was of excellent quality, wish there were more options of raw fish in the rolls but we had one of the platters with nigiri/ sashimi and maki rolls & it was excellent. still dreaming of the sashimi & that ponzo sauce! we will be back :)

The food is amazing. So good salmon and wine. The staff is not attentive though.

I have ordered food through foodora from the restaurant, waited for an hour for my food to arrive, that was fine by me, I could definitely wait 10-15 min extra, even though I have paid a lot and was expecting a better customer service. However, the problem appeared when I opened my order and saw something was missing. I called the restaurant which took me good five min to get through, then I mentioned the issue, they said they will contact someone else to deliver my missing item. I am writing this review because I am tired of paying so much and still waiting for my food to arrive so I can eat my dinner. Horrendous customer service in my opinion, when I asked how long will it take for the missing item to arrive, the guy on the other said, I don’t know. The money and the customer service being provided are not compatible in any way!!!

Excellent and tasty nigiri and maki: Get the Royale Maki! Friendly service. Quiet place but could do with some music especially for dinner time.

The sushi itself was delicious, and it would have been a five star experience but for the fact that the service was terrible. We waited over 15 minutes before a server came to our table, and we had to wave the server over. A table that arrived after us had drinks served before the server even greeted us. We were then served another party’s food, and there was a long wait for our sushi to come out. Finally, it took another 15 minutes of waiting before we were able to get the server’s attention to pay our bill.

Tried Sushi and dumplings here and it was really tasty. The portions are a bit small for the price but it was a pleasant experience.

We went to the Red Sun since we were staying in the Airbnb above it and got a 20% discount on the food. The atmosphere is nice and the food was good. Portion sizes were great also. Reason for the 4 stars is the price. For 4 adults we paid $112 usd with the discount. Our waitress was amazing, I wish I could remember her name.

We started to come here every few weeks sometimes more😅, best sushi in city sentrum one of the best places too, the other food too who like fried rice with chicken It’s best I think I tried in my life just ask for teriyaki sauce on the chicken it’s perfect combo 😁
