We have enjoyed our stay at fishermen's retreat. The sites are tight, close together. There is only a few concrete sites. So be prepared to be in the sand dirt for your site. Water quality, need filtered used up a 2 whole filters while we stayed here. Friendly locals and other campers. The young lady at the front desk at store was super nice, courteous. We let her know how we appreciated her when we arrived. If we are back this way again yes we would stay again but request a concrete site if we could.

3/13/22 So far, I have positive things to say about this place. 1. This place has 3 lakes and 1 lake is for members' only. 2. They stock the lake every week. 3. Their restaurant has a great food so far (We ordered tacos, chicken wings, Philly cheesesteak) 4. Marmado works in information office, so far..he has a high ratings having or giving customer service needs. Will update more info as we go through experiences about this place. Pretty expensive for what you get. While the views are gorgeous, the pond is small and full of people playing loud music. Easy to get your lines crossed. The water was low so we had to walk down to the water and slipped into the mud a few times. Caught a lot of pond scum and lily pads. 2 adults and 1 kid $52. Wasn't able to find the bathroom.

Staff were friendly especially the nice lady in the store . But we Got off to a slow start and thought we were going to skunk out. But my son had a decent size Bass. And I got got 2 catfish that were decent size. On the downside they could take a little better care of the place lots of trash porta potties out by the lake were disgusting

Apparently my family has been coming here and enjoy it. Im Visiting from out of state, have made two trips here. The grounds are clean, there is a cafe with good food, a laundry mat with indoor restrooms. The employees/grounds keepers were very polite. We did one trip of day fishing the second night fishing.

I've been fishing here for over 30 years and it's nothing like it use to be.. I'm sure they probably keep the members lake full of fish and full of water. There are way to many people for the big lake not to be filled with water. It's way to shallow and to far out where it get deeper. Come on for 18 bucks a pop everyone should get a fair chance at the fish.

This is my first time here and in my opinion this place is pretty. The guy at the gate was so nice and greeted me so politely. This place is clean for a place that has dirt paths. The price to fish isn't bad either. $19 per person that want to fish.

Pretty cool, do wish it was a bit bigger but it's got 2 lagoons, so plenty of space and plenty of fish.

So they claim they double stocked this past weekend but we didn't catch ANYTHING, nor did a lot of people we walked around speaking to as well. Other than that, great place and great people. We always have a good time and will be back as usual.

Went fishing here for the first time last Saturday. Fishing was great and I ended up with 5 nice rainbow trout. My buddy ended up with two.defanatly going to enjoy this place

$31.00 to he in for one person and $9.00 firewood total $40.00 fish we caught 0. This place is getting worse and worse thru the year. Every one with around us last night was fussing about not catching anything I talked to at least 7 people that all said the same thing. Paying too much money to not even get a bump. There wa maybe total of 20 people there last night. If they stocked the lake on Friday there should have been fish biting on Saturday even if they are coming in lethargic. Some one on the phone told me they stocked 200 lbs of cat. That was not true. It will be a long time before I return. Hopefully after fisherman’s retreat settles with the bankruptcy they straighten things up.

Been going since I was a kid. Haven t been there in 3 years. Things changed alot. Down to 1 lake. Hopefully they can get the other 1 filled. Always a good place to fish

Getting ready for trout season ...it has been very crowded this year recommend reservations well in advance if you want a good spot on the lake...

It is always clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to fish.

Nice little ponds to do some fishing. $20 fee which is not bad. If you live local this is an excellent spot to do some fishing.

A bit too crowded for what I'm used to but overall the sites are great! If you got a Starlink, be sure to talk with the host before picking a spot, probably half of them are covered by trees

I loved the scenery and the people fishing were so friendly. We got to eat at the cafe and the food was delicious

We've been coming here for 26 yrs. And this place is amazing. Fishing swimming and all kinda stuff 2 do

This is a great little gem. 3 fishing lakes all of which are stocked weekly. Fair prices and usually has rv reservations available. Great little cafe. Restrooms/showers are clean. Laundry facilities work. Too bad the Cafe is only open Fridays thru Sunday and hope they stay open Sunday. Take bug spray and sunscreen
