Stopped by this German market on our way to Oak Glen. It came highly recommended from a friend and didn’t disappoint. Great specialty market with an attached deli. They also serve hot plates. I had the smoked bratwurst and a Ruben sandwich and both were delicious. Don’t forget the sauerkraut and pickles which are equally good. The German style potato salad is a must try. Additional bonus is the German duo in the biergarten singing toons from the fatherland. So grab beer and a seat and enjoy the show…

Nice little spot. German deli/market. Been wanting to spot by here. Had the chance to finally do so with the family. Nixe spot lots of choices with meats. They have beer on tap and beer garden is nice. You can Def tell its a local spot. They had kice music a man playing the accordion and a woman singing. We got the hot play and a sandwich for my son. It was extremely delicious. Will be back for more.

Love coming here and if you miss Germany you will too. This is a great German deli with authentic dishes. They even have a small market section that has things you would buy in a German grocery store. From beers to brats, this place is a gem.

First time going. They helped me choose what to eat since I’ve never had this type of food. I was recommended The Ruben Sandwich and the German potato salad. I also paired it with the Beer on tap! One of the best sandwiches I’ve had! The potato salad was warm never had that before and it was so delicious! The beer was also great kinda sweet. The whole meal was delicious! Will definitely be back soon! Go try it!

Fun, small grocery store with meat, cold cuts, and cheese counters selling a lot of German-style food items. It also offers sandwiches made to order, hot beverages, and German beers. A few tables invite you to consume sandwiches and drinks right on the premises. The staff is very friendly and helpful finding the products you are looking for. This was my first visit and I will definitely go back.

Beeing from Germany obviously i love this place. Meats are really good. They also have a great selection of all the other good stuff and chocolates. The hot plates are also really good and fairly inexpensive. They also have all the good beers and other drink that are hard to get elsewhere. They really did a great job selecting it's they sell. Great staff as well. Biergarten and all.

Enjoyed a late afternoon lunch with my brother. Offers a quaint Germanic deli atmosphere that connects with 1950s and 1960s retro. There are a few tables inside, but the real treat is the updated patio. We enjoyed cool breezes and ample seating with our wursts. Pros: Cozy and quaint German centric foods and baked goods. A refreshing fresh brewed non sweetened tropical tea. Good quality polish and hungarian spicy sausages. Warm and savory German potato salad, mild sauerkraut, fresh pickles and a good variety of cheeses. The serving portions are meant for a healthy gut with large amounts of fermented vegetables, meats, and cheeses. The rye bread complimented the juicy sausages. Cons: Service was friendly but lacked clarity about their dishes, slow as in same register to handle all transactions. I waited so long to pay that our food came out before we could sit down. That was a bit awkward.

Walked in at 3:58pm on a Saturday (door was still open) and an employee stopped us saying they were closed. We explained that we just needed a few things but she just kept saying they were closed. There were still a lot of people in the store already shopping! Never have we ever experienced such rude behavior. I understand we were walking in right before they closed, but we only needed a few items and would have been quickly on our way. Will never visit this establishment again!! No store should ever turn their patrons away if they are inside the store before the actual closing time.

I was out in Calimesa since my son was taking his SAT at Yucaipa High School, and noticed there was a German deli. I had read about it online, but being there in person was much more impressive. There are not a lot of German markets around anymore, even where I live. I got to meet the owner and he is 86 years old from East Germany. Great guy!!! Very pleasant to talk to and since my grandfather was German was kind of fun to make that connection. The deli has a great selection of meats, sausages, pastries and cheeses--not to mention real German beer. I found a little tiny keg of Hofbräu and purchased that. The young women at the counter were very polite in fact one struck up a conversation asking about my son and they both happened to be in martial arts which was kind of fun and interesting making it seem like the world is a lot smaller than we think. You don't have to be German or European to shop here. If you'd like a good selection of authentic meat, sausages, cheeses and pastries, then go here and don't forget to say Tschuss!

One of my favorite places to go. Picture this. It's a nice spring day and you're on the back patio with a cold beer in one hand and a Reuben sandwich in the other. You're sitting at a table with a few other people and they have live German music being played. The staff is always super friendly too.

Great German Market + Biergarten. Georg, the owner, has been here since the mid 1950s and still operates this business with his daughter. His German Salami is the best!!! Well stocked market with lots of traditional German goodies. Great sausage & deli meat selection. Their Landjäger is from Mattern in Orange and really good, but only sold in the big packs - isn't a problem for me because they freeze well. Excellent bread & pretzels. Highly recommend the German Butterkäse (Tilsiter Art).

This charming, family-run deli market is the BEST place in the Inland Empire to get your fix of German cold cuts, meats, and imported foods and beverages. We've been coming here for over 25 years and the service, quality, and selection have remained consistently high. I definitely recommend!

George's deli is has been excellent for several years. My wife and I have been eating lunch there. Today our lunches terrible. The saurkraut had no Sauer taste it was horrible tasted washed.tge potato salad was sweet. Who ever heard of sweet German potatoes salad sad. Sauerkraut should have a Sauer taste. Potatoes salad should have no sugar..horrible.

Great little market to get deli meat, cheese, etc. Plus they make sandwiches and German meals. The staff were friendly and I heard them calling customers by name when they walked in. They remember people which is cool. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

I love this place. German Market with great things to eat for lunch. The owner always greets everyone with kindness. On some occasions, they'll have musical numbers on Saturdays, like accordion players and singers. I've been coming here since a was a child, and will continue going for years to come.

Welcome to Germany 🇩🇪…. Lol here in Calimesa, California. This market literally teleports you to Germany. Every conceivable thing from pickles, sauerkraut, deli meats, liverwurst, knockwurst, and all sorts of delicious delights. They have a beautiful outdoor area ( beer garden )where you can sit and have lunch. They have options for you to enjoy a beer. You must visit this place. It’s worth the drive! Amazing!

The sandwiches are a good value and the bomb, but if you really want a great experience ask for extra pickles, they're really crunchy and fresh and round out a delicious sandwich. It's a forty minute drive for us but well worth it. While there, check out the deli, everything there is fresh and reasonably priced.

Great food and good selection of German. Enjoyed a great pastrami sandwich with German potato salad and a good German beer. Have been going to this small market for years and this was my 1st time back since the COVID era started and it was just as good with no let down.

Best German food!!! Great atmosphere. Just wish they stayed open longer into the evening. Usually busy but worth the wait. Would love to see George's #2 in Beaumont. Staff are friendly even working non stop getting orders out. George the owner has been there every time I've been in working right along with his staff. A+ love this place.
