    I adopted Mojave Jane in early August. There’s no doubt that I got a special dog that day I adopted her. The fourteen days between that day and come hone day were devastating long. I had a long time picking out her name but spent the time during our visits on necessary commands. Anyway I got a desert dog for being abnormally dog had no exposure petrified in the car. It took me about to figure out that’s couldn’t goWas afraid of car would come to Mojave Jane from the start. Now walking on a leash unheard of which we met in a coming few days as like a walk, playing at the park and most importantly being comfortable in a car. We do a lot of driving around here.

    Dogs and cats love walking around this place. Walking around the store reminds me of the hamster on his wheel that my son and I looked at when he was younger. I told them look so many people in this country. Do the same thing, just a rat. Running in a cage running in circles. Day after day with that, I taught him to Chase his own dreams. A dream bigger than himself than includes everyone. Spread the lovin, stop the hatin', for can't we all see the children are waitin'?

    I shop at this Petco at least once a week and have for the past few years. Almost all of my encounters with the staff have been pleasant but today their “manager” and/or a woman named Christina has ensured I will never step foot back into the store again and I will also be examining any litigious possibilities as well as grounds for criminal complaints that my lawyer finds applicable. Earlier in the week I purchased a reptile from this location, and the next day when returning to purchase some more items, I spotted a sign that said 50-percent off reptiles. The manager was busy that day, and Thanksgiving was the following day, so I decided to call about the matter on Friday. Long story short, the “manager” or Christina came up with a bunch of excuses on why I could not get a partial refund to account for new sale when I did call Friday. I then said I would return the reptile and just get a full refund. When I arrived at the store, Christina gave me an incorrect refund amount which was not fixed before loudly stating in front of other customers, “Don’t you ever threaten to kill one of our reptiles?” Her words sounded so insane and like the ramblings of a mad person that I was initially confused. She pressed that I had threaten to kill the animal if they didn’t take it back and said I had been recorded. Lot of things wrong here, but maybe the employee has racial bias: I rescue reptiles from local shelters and run a reptile care website - I would never harm a reptile. I never said anything even close to this so to hear these words out of her mouth was infuriating and embarrassing. I asked for the recording to be played to verify these heinous accusations but was told I could not hear them - which is good to know since recording conversations in the state of California is illegal without two-party consent. Christina also publicly, quite loudly in front of other customers, accused me of threatening to kill animals while also saying this herself in a threatening manner. Was I defamed by a Petco employee on store premises? It certainly felt that way so I will be contacting the district manager, Petco corporate, Petco social accounts and leaving this review in more places as well as examining my legal options - defamation included. This should have been a simple transaction ending in us buying the store’s stock of dart frogs for my little sister’s vivarium - and the consequent future sales of insect feeders, bulbs, dishes, etc, but now it will end in revenue loss, a vital care cancellation, bad reviews, and wasted resource management, which is ….. poor managerial performance from whomever I initially spoke to on the phone. I feel bad for the really good people that do work here but understand now why the turnover is high and the store is understaffed.

    Went in to make a tag for my dog. Good selection, machine worked perfectly and was user-friendly. Helpful and friendly cashier.

    Highly recommend the Petco Groomers here! Everyone is so friendly and great with my little girl who is definitely timid but absolutely loves seeing her friends that work at Petco. They truly do a great job. Reagan always comes back to me smelling fantastic and her nails are nicely trimmed and buffed. Can’t beat the price either!

    The store is always clean. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The prices aren't too high for good, quality food. My cats clean their plates when the food is from Petco. Not so much with other stores' foods.

    I was told by the hiring manager I was her first pick to hire as a sales associate, but the other manager went with someone else. I’ve been wanting to work at Petco since they opened and I just want to be given a chance

    I come here every so often to pick up either litter or if one of the monsters needs something extra. Today I went in for UTI drops for my cat and was tempted by all the other merchandise as well. Store was bustling and had lots of new Christmas themed decor out. I perused the bins by the checkout today and found ever more goodies. Nicole was a fantastic cashier. She was cheerful and made me really enjoy socializing (which I am generally awkward at from mostly being in "get things done" mode). If I had needed anything else that day, she could have sold me on it but I had already grabbed more than I needed. Great employee, store and service!

    Chloe helped me pick out the best dog food for my puppy. She was really sweet and helpful. The cashier miles I think his name was helpful and got me a rewards account. Thanks Petco

    It's an ok place & you don't want to come again then because of poor customer service & one girl was attending most customers & others felt either don't want to work, no mood or may be ignorant to me but they help some other customers that makes me very uncomfortable. I felt very bad and decided I will never go back to this location.

    I wish there was another one closer. They are badly stocked and it's hard to find help on the floor. I always have to search for someone or bother the cashier in-between other customers.

    My dog went in and came out looking like 2 different dogs. I dropped her off covered in clay, sheeding fur and funky breath. When i picked her up, her coat was shuny, black and incredibly soft. I loved the energy and interaction with the staff. They offered grooming options and asked me lots of questions to better understand my dog's needs. I will definitely be going back again ❤️

    i go once a in a while, when my parents shop next door. the employees are nice and dobt me feel unsafe at all as i walk around looking at the mice. my favorite employee has to be grey, he helped me get a pet there. ❤️

    It was easy to find the products that I wanted, Didn't have wait in line for a cashier to check out. The cashier was very nice, easy to talk to, asked me if I found everything I needed. He was very courteous and professional. Great experience 👍.

    Need to have a plentiful supply of wholehearted dry dog food for large dog 40lb, chicken grain free. The last 4 times I've tried to order your always out of it!

    A nice smaller Petco, as always it’s the staff that makes a place like this special. They’re always so helpful at check out to cut tags or open packages so my pup can use his stuff right away. Selection wise 4 stars. Staff and experience 5 stars.

    This store is ridiculous. Employees want to make their own policy and agendas, instead of abiding by STORE policy on a return which I was fully able to do and clearly stated on receipt but both employees refused and when I asked the manager what’s the guys name that actually tried to get bold with me only because he was in the store and wasn’t wearing a name tag the manager lied and told me a fake name. Come to find out through corporate his actual name is something different. I called corporate and was able to do the return. Never should have reached that point had they not tried to break store policy and make their own. I am in touch with corporate still to make sure these 2 are held accountable and this never happens again. Both employees should be fired

    Went to Petco for a 10 gallon tank and a betta! Fantastic! Super easy to navigate store. Found all the tank essentials! Got a bumblebee betta! Very pleased!

    I came into the yucca valley petco to get cat grass in hopes of dealing with my cat’s recent health issues. The service clerk was great at helping me narrow down the health issue. He recommended several options without being pushy, or trying to up sell. He showed real concern for my pet. I truly appreciate that store’s help

    Rhiannon does an amazing job on our Goldendoodle! We have gone back numerous times and we will continue to go back. Our baby looks amazing everytime he walks out! It amazing what a haircut will do!
