This gym is a 1 in a million gym. The staff are the absolute best and are very welcoming. They care about you and get concerned when you don’t turn up. Been at 2 different gyms prior and their atmosphere doesn’t compare to Strand. Donnie from iron gate fitness is one of the best personal trainers out too. The broad range of equipment, classes and and the facilities are to die for.

Lots equipment and really friendly and helpful staff 👍 the equipment and the surroundings are always kept very clean and in service 👍 always enjoy coming to work out here, theres a new function fitness room and sauna coming soon so it really is a great gym 💪 would highly recommend

What an amazing gym. I was only visiting but wow I would sign up if I lived in Townsville. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and has to have the best facilities I have ever seen.

I have been a member here for almost 7 years, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Townsville. Great facilities and super friendly staff. Access to a variety of classes, pools, saunas and massage chairs, what else could you need.

Conveniently located. The staff are exceptionally friendly with the gym floor always being clean and tidy. Never had an issue here. Will be my gym of choice for the foreseeable future.

So convenient to have a gym close to home in North Shore, especially one that has a crèche! Sometimes I come here just to have a break from my toddler and use the massage chair if I don’t feel like working out ;) Also love how as a VIP member you have access to the other Strand Fitness Gyms in Townsville that all have other unique benefits

Strand Fitness is by far the best gym in Townsville! Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. North shore has a great upstairs cardio area and everything you need. Kristy at north shore always has a smile on her face and makes the gym very welcoming.

New to the area and had to find a gym close to home for those gains, so luckily Strand fitness was right around the corner and with also two other locations just a drive down the road 24/7 for members who need those very convenient place, days and times must needed to get in and get out. Clean gym, friendly members and every gym equipment to make those gains. Catch 20 for a free singlet in return for a google review I say deal.

I love Strand Fitness North Shore! The place is always spotless, with lots of inspiring music and visuals, and plenty of equipment for everyone to use, even at the busiest of times. The crew members are very welcoming. The creche is staffed by professional and friendly people and has a range of engaging activities for the kids. It's located right near a host of local shops and parks too.
