Bažnyčia Varšuvos centrę. Labai gražus fasadas. Kaip vaikščiojau siaurais Varšuvos gatvelėmis pamačiau ši bažnyčia. Paliko daug įspūdžių vakare, apšvietimas daro savo įtaką. Iš tamsios gatvelės atsiranda skulptūra ant fasado. Biblijos motyvai kartais palieka keista, bauginanti, įspūdį. Aplankykite.

Beautiful, late Baroque architecture of the church, built around 1356. In 1939, the church was damaged and in 1944 it was destroyed as a result of fighting during the Warsaw Uprising. The reconstruction of the church began in 1945 and was completed in 1955

(Translated by Google) Founded together with the Augustinian monastery in 1353. On July 5, 1356, Pope Innocent VI granted prince Ziemowit III and his wife Euphemia the privilege of bringing the Augustinians to Mazovia. Ziemowit promised to build three monasteries: in Rawa, Warsaw and Ciechanów, so the date of construction of the church, 1353, may not be accurate. The names of churches are also mentioned in the papal privilege. Warszawski was to be dedicated to the Holy Spirit, St. Martin and St. Dorothy. Having received the papal bull, the prince built the church in the form of a cross. And on its sides, he erected chapels: on the right, on the side of the Holy Gospel. Spirit, on the left of St. Dorothy. The Holy Spirit chapel served as a vestibule for the church: next to it the prince built a sacristy. He built the monastery to the south, and a cemetery was drawn from the vestibule for burying the dead. You also entered the church through the cemetery. Behind these buildings, he left a field for the garden. The fund was for the maintenance of twelve priests. After giving the church to the Augustinians, the prince gave them to the great altar the painting of the transfer of the Virgin, which later became famous for miracles. (Original) Ufundowany wraz z klasztorem Augustianów w 1353 roku. Papież Innocenty VI wydał 5 lipca 1356 r księciu Ziemowitowi III i jego żonie Eufemii przywilej sprowadzenia na Mazowsze Augustianów. Ziemowit obiecał wybudować trzy klasztory: w Rawie, Warszawie i Ciechanowie. Marcina i św. Doroty.

Personally, I found the facade of the church to be the most impressive. This is how I imagine a Catholic church.

Church of a thousand faces. There is a small street and walking down it the church suddenly appears. It is a spectacular sight. Reformed church that has its charm more for its seclusion and the songs of the nuns than for its architecture and interior furniture. Beauty of the Eucharist and beautiful the work of the sisters. Next to the sanctuary there is a chapel of Saint Francis with the most valuable element of the church furniture: a polychrome figure of the Virgin Mary with the Child.

The church is quite modest, modern, but has its own atmosphere. From the 70s of the twentieth century and in the 80s of martial law, help was provided here for interned families. The building itself is very historic, because it dates back to the 14th century.

Jeden z nejstarších kostelů ve Varšavě. Byl založen v roce 1356. Hlavní část kostela je z období baroka (osmnáctého století).

(Translated by Google) The church is for prayer. This one also has an amazing atmosphere. And the brilliantly singing Franciscan Sisters, Servants of the Cross. Their singing is a spiritual feast. (Original) Kościół służy do modlenia. Ten ma dodatkowo niesamowita atmosferę. I genialnie śpiewające Siostry Franciszkanki Służebniczki Krzyża.
