😠 Although the staff was really nice and friendly, I will most probably not visit again. Why? THE COMPLEX * Both, the gym and dressing room are dirty, the complex is smelly. * there's a shared dressing room for male and female visitors and the floors of the dressing room are dirty when its muddy outs... People often mention climbing, training, routes, nice, blocks, time, wall, climb,

Although the staff was really nice and friendly, I will most probably not visit again. Why? THE COMPLEX * Both, the gym and dressing room are dirty, the complex is smelly. * there's a shared dressing room for male and female visitors and the floors of the dressing room are dirty when its muddy outside, as everyone goes there with their shoes on * I did not see a place for showering, there might have been one but as the overall experience was sad and depressing I just wanted to leave the premises really quickly. GYM * the gym is dark * blocks are old and in bad condition - discoloured and worn-out. * there's no routes; there are some signs of some routes from apparently some competition a long time ago * most of the walls are in constant use for group workouts and therefore there is no place for individual climbers (talking about bouldering here) * No magnesium/chalk available for the visitors (but then again, the blocks are so covered with it that you probably do not need any extra) I must admit I find it hilarious that you go to have a workout in a gym and you hang out on a couch while being off the wall. But the laser pointers for coaches seem reasonable, as there's really no other way to possibly distinguish the blocks.

This gym is dirty and dark. It's not nice. The blocks are very old and in bad condition (discolored). Everyone was using all blocks, none was actually following a "route". It was full of trainers who seemed lazy just pointing with laser the blocks for the student and sometimes they even hold a wooden stick to show which block to use (like a shepherd taking care of its herd). I decided to go again because sometimes maybe it's a bad day. Unfortunately, everything was the same and worse, because an instructor (not mine) told me to go climb on another wall because this wall is "reserved". I felt so bad as I had paid and didn't know what to do. If you want to see for yourself don't buy the offer for many visits. Just pay once and you'll know.

Visiting Poland on long weekend as an intermediate climber (6c-7a), we decided to check out this place. The Fortress is an appropriate name as the holds seem like they have been in use since the 14th century. The holds are very poorly maintained. The mats are worn or torn and the building looks like it will crumble any second. Climbing was precarious as a lot of holds were loose and spinning, I would be fearful to try ropes at this place as I would not trust the anchor. There were no routes or grades on any of the boulders and the few route indicators on the walls were warn out or gone, nothing is colour coded but at least you can not accuse anyone of rainbowing. Chalk use was discouraged which with worn out holds made climbing difficult. The staff and people were nice, so if you are an absolute madlad and have no fear for your safety it's worth a visit just to see the absolute state.

Really good training climbing and good teachers. The problem is they don't have shower.

Literally the worst climbing center ever. 1. They don't have magnesium. Not like they don't give it to you for free, they literally just don't have it 2. They don't have climbing shoes with size 39. There were 3 people in the climbing center and there were no shoes in size 39. 3. There is only one locker room for everyone: children, men and women. This one locker room does not have a door, and all your shame is out in the open. No shower, either. 4. They do not have those invisible one-time socks that are always available everywhere. But the woman at the reception was looking at me as if I were mad, so I guess fungus protection is not a thing in Poland 5. There are no clearly marked routes/markings with different difficulty levels. It's like everything is just slapped together with no thought. 6. Dirty mats 7. Some parts are broken, so you can be climbing and just encounter a broken piece in the middle of the route 8. There was a dog running around the climbing center, barking. 9. There were groups of kids not following any safety precautions, in regular jeans and running shoes.

Ok for trying out climbing for the first time. They explained how to do the knots and climb in safety. Cheap and possibility to rent climbing shoes for 2 PLN. No windows, sometimes the air can become a bit saturated.

On paper it was nice, was almost exited to be there. On place...Noisy noisy noisy, From Monday to Thursday there is classes in place and the music is so loud that you can not get focused and you can't hear your buddy to get advise. It's a shame 'cause it could be a great place to climb. +: - My buddy has an issue with the grigri, an instructor/trainer came to help her in split seconde. You can seen that they are looking at climbers event if you don't participe to their classes - From city center easy to go. Bus 130, 3rd stop here you are. - Entrance fee 40 Zloty. less than €10 for 2. -: - Noisy - man at the entrance was haughty. Yes I've old material, but still perfectly working as it's correctly maintain. This guy tell me, that my gear are to old, and that I've to buy a new one. he gave us harness for free... - hold are not correctly maintain. discoloured and slippy. - ways are marked on each hold with a kind of strap. When you are on the wall you can't see where to put your feets. Bref, won't go anymore there... sorry

It's sad to see an iconic place that has changed negatively. Half of the routes are gone, some strange rules, no wonder there's no one there :(.

Nothing special. Outdated facility but financially acceptable. The most important thing, however, is that it exists at all, because it is the only wall in this part of Krakow where you can climb with a rope.

poorly maintained holds and gym equipment, poorly labeled routes. Price kinda reflects that, but I wouldn't go back

Today I was at this place for the first time on the wall with a friend who completed training 2 months ago at this facility. We both know how to climb and belay. I have already completed two training sessions, but on different walls. The lady clearly had a bad attitude towards us from the very beginning, because when renting the equipment, she rudely told us to say whatever we wanted because she was not a clairvoyant... I was given a regular cup and I was usually used to Grigri and I asked if you could remind me how to attach it. I received an answer (all the time in a rude tone) that Mrs. Wlansie is currently starting training with a group of children and does not have time for us. It will be available in 40 minutes. As it turned out, she sat at the reception desk for 15 minutes and wiped the countertops while we tried to put our clothes on. Finally, we succeeded and only the group that had undergone training entered. The lady interrupted her training and approached us and told us that we shouldn't climb because who gave us the training. I said we don't need training, I wanted you to remind me of one thing, but you didn't help me. I also said that once you had kindly approached us, you could check if we were fastened correctly, to which she replied that she wouldn't check anything for me and that I should immediately leave my friend who was already upstairs. Suddenly we were talking to the second lady at the reception, who, as it turned out, could also show us the one thing we asked for. Nobody helped us. The lady who conducted the training left her group of children unattended and came to argue with us at the reception. They also did not want to refund us money for equipment that we had not even used properly before that hour. Total lack of professionalism.
