Nice place to visit if you are in Sidi Bou Said. Entry fees is TD5. Doesn’t look big from outside but quite large inside. Very nicely decorated and gives you glimpse of how rich people lived in the area. They even give you free tea. You can also climb up to the rooftop for beautiful panoramic views.

We started our walk around the wonderful Sidi Bou Said by visiting this beautiful house, which is like an ethnographic museum. A place a bit like from a thousand and one nights fairy tale. Different world! Especially if someone "likes cats and the color blue." So many beautiful places here. You can take a thousand photos! And the tea - delicious!

Fantastic house/museum right on the main street. 5TND pp is a great deal. The house is super interesting inside, big, winding stairs, mosaics, room after room, green, even a tiny prayer room. It's a private home, obviously, lots of personal things all around. Not sure why the owner opened it up like this but glad he/she did. Climb the twisty stairs to the top for nice view. Unlike most museums, this one has seats all over the place so you can actually sit and rest and enjoy the peace (during offseason, only 5 people there...we had to go get the admission lady to pay). Tired of being hassled by street vendors? Come inside for an hour. Great place.

Beautiful, small museum gives a really good insight into how the homes of the rich in Sidi Bou Said were in the past. Very beautiful tile work, lovely courtyard with mint tea, beautiful views from the roof balcony. Families home mosque with a beautiful ceiling. Really worth a visit.

A must-see traditional tunisian-andalousian house with many old items like money coins, books, newspapers, photos etc. The panoramic view from the terrace on Sidi Bou Said is amazing.

A great way to see the inside life and a tradition of Tunisian people. Such a calm and relaxing place, with the great tea they serve. Go on the top and take a look on the city and neighborhood.

(Translated by Google) The Dar El Annabi Museum is a Tunisian museum located in Sidi Bou Said, on the outskirts of Tunis. Dar Al-Annabi is originally a large house belonging to Mufti Al-Annabi, built in the eighteenth century and consisting of about 50 rooms. This private museum offers a large collection of Tunisian traditional dress and reshape the daily life of a traditional family in an antique house from the capital's homes through human figures, traditional materials and pieces, displayed in various rooms of the house, salons, private library, Turkish garden and patios. Wow, this place is stunning. I was impressed by the architecture, artwork, and knick-knacks scattered around the house. There were also some wax figures dressed in historical clothes which was kind of fun. Only recommendation would be to provide more information about the history of the house or about local customs/culture - the information sheet they passed out had very little info. Nice views from the rooftop terrace. They serve tea in the courtyard when you’re finished with the tour.

You cannot leave Sidi Bou Said without visiting Dar El Annabi. It was certainly my favorite spot in Sidi Bou Said, second only to walking through the vibrant streets adorned with colorful doors. The entrance ticket to Dar El Annabi is 5 Dinars, which includes a complimentary tea. For me, the main attraction was the entire house; it was a delightful immersion into the past. Exploring how people lived, from the prayer room to the study, and the cozy places to escape the sun, all contributed to the charm. The terrace offered a captivating view, while the small details, such as the paintings and books, added to the experience.I concluded my visit with a break in the shade, savoring the glass of tea away from the tourist crowds.

Dar El Annabi is very beautiful traditional house showing the lifestyle of one of the rich Tunisian family in Sidi Bu Said. However, the staff was rude with bad attitude, he was on his phone all the time and it was very hard to communicate with him because obviously he was busy talking which gave me negative impression at the beginning of my visit. I believe if the staff members were nice and welcoming the experience will be outstanding and the place will deserve 7 stars..

One traditional house of a richer Tunisian family. The rooms are nicely decorated and they even have wax figures to depict people in the house. Prices are 4.5 dinars (they seem to accept euro or dollar) and they offer a tea in return. Don't miss the amazing views from the rooftop, a really nice panorama of Sidi Bou Said.

Really beautiful, authentic Tunisian house that showcases living by the wealthy back in the day. Only 5 TD to enter. Barely any visitors inside. Took about 30 mins but can go faster if you want to. Nice rooftop on top where you can just sit & chat while appreciating the views. Only thing that could've made it better was if there was a small tour provided, even at an extra price - about who exactly lived in the house, the design/architecture, etc.

A traditional house, as the presentation says. I don’t know if it’s true or not but it looks very interesting. Many pieces of furniture, household items, traditional clothing. In addition, you have access to a terrace located on top of the roof, where from you have excellent view of the entire area. It worth every penny of the small entrance fee.

(Translated by Google) In the picturesque town of Sidi Bou Said on the Mediterranean near Tunis and Carthage is the original private museum Dar el Annabi. The house was built in the eighteenth century and expanded in the twentieth century - as the summer residence of Taiba El Annabi. Tourists have the opportunity to see the private rooms of a typical Arab family, i.e. a patio, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, study, living room, guest rooms and a sunny roof terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. We will also, here, admire the fabulously rich wedding dresses and the ritual preparation of Tunisian girls for marriage. The residence is as fairytale and original as the town of Sidi Bou Said itself, full of expensive palaces and beautiful villas. (Original) W malowniczym miasteczku Sidi Bou Said nad M.Śródziemnym w bliskiej odległości Tunisu i Kartaginy znajduje się oryginalne, prywatne muzeum Dar el Annabi. Dom został zbudowany w XVIII w i rozbudowany w XX - jako letnia rezydencja Taiba El Annabi. Turyści mają tu okazję zobaczyć prywatne pomieszczenia typowej arabskiej rodziny czyli patio, kuchnię, sypialnię, łazienkę, gabinet, salon, pokoje gościnne oraz słoneczny taras na dachu, z pięknym widokiem na morze. Będziemy też, tu podziwiać bajecznie bogate suknie ślubne i rytuał przygotowań tunezyjskie dziewczyny do zaślubin. Rezydencja jest tak bajkowa i oryginalna jak samo miasteczko Sidi Bou Said pełne drogich pałacyków i pięknych willi.
