Very crowded place during Shraddha as Pinddaan is prohibited on Bank of Ganges. Pandas may ask for hefty fees but settle down for a reasonable at end. All Shraddh Stuff avbl there nearby.

Pishach Mochan ghat is located near the Varanasi railway station, wherein to redeem the evils soul from the affected human beings, but more expensive, it the work is best here.

Pisach Mochan Temple in Varanasi is renowned for its Pitrapaksh Pooja and Pind Daan rituals, which draw large crowds during this period. If you wish to have your Pitrapaksh Pooja conducted here, you'll need to purchase a ticket for approximately 1000 Rs to reserve your spot. Additionally, there are miscellaneous charges to be paid to the temple caretakers who oversee cleaning and other post-pooja activities. The temple provides a unique and spiritually enriching experience during Pitrapaksh, making it worth the visit.

I liked this place as I am a frequent visitor for many years. But if you visit now, its a lot crowded as more number of worship is done like hawans, etc. And if I get to rate the route I would have given 1 star as the way to this lake is very narrow and a lot of traffic jams occur mostly.

😠 I and my wife visited this place on 10th July 2023. This is the worst place a couple can visit in hope of getting blessed for child primarily due to shameless behaviour of priests and kund caretaker. First you hv to pay for fruit and then to priest before you could sit in a line for bath in the kund...

😠 The Lakshmi Kund is as its name suggests, a water tanks and considered a holy one at that. The mythological significance of the Lakshmi Kund in this holy Hindu city is due to the belief as a body of water linked to the Hindu belief of resurrection and reincarnation. The water tank and the surroundi...
