This is for the b&b, which is a 3 minute walk from the main hotel. The b&b doesn’t have a sign, so finding it in the dark is confusing if you’re just there for one night. Check in process was an absolute nightmare. The receptionist had me walking back and forth up 3 flights of stairs multiple times because he never told me where the actual b&b was- instead, he pointed across the street where there was yet another Tembo building (ended up NOT being the one I was staying in). The guy who ran the actual b&b building was great though, once they finally notified him to bring me to the right building. Props to him. Breakfast was above average. Even though you’re able to use the facilities of main hotel, it’s still a 3 minute walk down the main roads, so you def have to cover up if you want to swim. Also I didn’t get any sort of tour of the main hotel, just had to figure it out on my own. Some of the reviews say there is a rooftop pool- this is news to me as no one told me about it. I was in Zanzibar for 10 days and already spent 2 nights in Stone Town when I first arrived, for a total of three nights. I would 100% choose the other hotel over this one. Also, of the 5 hotels I stayed at around Zanzibar , this one was the worst due to disorganization and confusion.

The hotel is very well located in Stone town, the rooftop pool is very nice with a nice view on the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is great to see the sunset, it is crowed with locals, great ambiance. For the breakfast there is something for everyone, but nothing exceptional. We were staying at the appartment at 3min walk from the hotel. The room has everything, however the walls are very thin, it is very noisy. In the bathroom there is A LOT of humidity. And also no curtains everywhere so there is a lot of light in the morning. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

The location it's great! The breakfast at the main hotel it's good and diverse! The service it's top as well. The room is really spacious, but might need a bit of refreshing. (Top part the balcony I couldn't enjoy it because of the rain but I think it would be great on a sunny day.

Nice place and service but average rooms, it is placed in a small unremarkable building 3min from the main hotel, which is more unique.

Very cozy, amazing welcoming Staff! Amazing food, you can try out everything on the menu and also at the breakfast! Right at the beach and if the weather is too much, you can try the swimming pool out! The rooms are equipped with air conditioner, which will help you for a good resting night! Enjoy your stay !!
