There is an aquatic center at the southwest corner but right now its only open for swimming classes. There is plenty of parking areas and the park does get lots of people on Saturday mornings yet I still managed to find parking. There are also workout areas where you can do pull ups, dips, etc and even one area with a set of gymnastic rings. Currently my go-to park for working out in GDL. So far it's the best I've seen yet here.

Probably the most beautiful park I've had the pleasure of visiting, thus far. First, there is a track that wraps itself through and around the park for cyclists and joggers to let loose on. Second, there is an abundance of trees to decorate the hills that just keep going. If you pick a spot for a picnic, it is unlikely that you'll find yourself bumping shoulders with anyone that isn't invited because of how spacious the park is. Third, the park is very well taken care of. No litter, clutter or dedicated area for trash could be seen (aside from a stray bag I had seen). The park seems to perpetuate a culture that takes care of it and it was really nice to have seen it firsthand.

It's such a beautiful park. I went there for birding and I found a calm place. Although there was people everywhere doing exercises, it was quiet enough for birding. It's big, secure, clean and Worth to visit.

Nice location and lots of space. Has decent places trails for walking, cycling & rentals for go carts & golf carts. Lots of picnic places for your family too. Washrooms are kept clean & there are plenty of things for kids to do there like renting trampolines & courts to play sports on.

Good sized park though it could be better maintained. The man-made lake is a nice touch and draws quite a bit of bird life however it seemed to be low on water. The park could use lighting for the evening hours and better ground cover as both green and paved areas get quite dusty.

This is basically my favorite place in Guadalajara / Zapopan. Weekdays, weekends…whatever. I absolutely love the bike track here. It can get pretty busy on the weekends. Just keep an eye out for kids when riding fast especially around the front near the red buildings.
