My sister and I went to this spot for the first and last time this past Saturday night and we had a horrible experience. When we first walked in we were fascinated by the unique funky decor, fun cocktail menu, yummy food options and great music playing in the background. We were greeted by a male waiter, who seemed to be the only one waiting tables that night. At first he was attentive and respectful, but as soon as my sister respectfully confronted him about messing up on her order his whole attitude shifted. He gradually became sarcastic, rude and non attentive to our table. A busgirl started attending us instead towards the end of the night. At the end when we got up from our table he darted straight to our table to pick up the money not responding to our thank yous (we wanted to be cordial) and he just walked away. Horrible service!!! I have never treated like this in any place in my life let alone at a cantina. I don’t know how a cool place allows a person who lacks customer service training to work there. I have included a picture of who to avoid if for some reason you still want to visit, just ask for another waiter.

Great neighborhood bar with yummy eats and delicious drinks. Say Hi to Chavas! Ooxx P.D. Get the Tepache Jaibol for a lot of "BANG!" for your buck. Strong fermented pineapple drink infused with tequila. Woooeeeee!!!

It’s a very cool place with aún interesting decoration and atmosphere. Still preserves the desde cero of an old classic cantina with a hipster touch. Cool vibe. The food was okay but the drinks were really good. Service was good too.

Dark, loud-ish electronic music with good mezcal, cocktails and food. I tried the three mezcales from Mezonte and it was great to see the different styles. I know it sounds simplistic, but the birote con crema was awesome!

This place is just amazing . Best Paloma (Tequila , lime, grapefruit,soda) in the world. Snacks are delicious …Tamales Yunite, Taco de Chile Relleno, Tostada de Panela 🫠

Lucky me, I stumbled into this friendly local bar. The bartender helped me select a drink from the extensive cocktail menu. El Avena Jaibol was a delicious fermented surprise. I appreciate a bar that makes its own bitters.

Great variations of pina colada available, delicious well portioned taco servings and friendly bar staff who all have a good command of English which made our ordering so much easier.

This is an excellent bar, I walked in kind of ambivalent as I came in with the intent to have a tequila tasting but instead the lady offered me to try a variety of raicillas and mezcals and made it a mini tasting in itself! Then I tried the El Cucumber which was an excellent excellent cocktail that blended chartreuse with raicilla, vermouth and cucumber, which turned out to be an excellent combination.

Bartenders were friendly and put up with me not speaking very good Spanish. Made some friends and drank some amazing mezcal and tequila. I'll be back in my travels for sure.

Great little spot! Amazing cocktails, good arrangement of snacks and small plates of food. Sundays have a special menu with different cocktails you can’t get the rest of the week. Highly recommend.

The best tacos in Guadalajara. Especially the chicharron - super crispy and bright! The drinks are inventive and tasty. And the service is excellent. All the people who work here are so friendly and helpful. One of the reasons I went more than once.

The host with the long, colorful hair and several nose piercing is an Exceptional person! This was my 1st visit an I was treated like a VIP. He did everything to be accommodating & to make sure my visit was a great experience. Suggested craft cocktails were great. Unfortunately, all the food had beef or pork and which I don't eat. But, I noticed that all the patrons cleaned their plates! A great place for good people and a great experien e.

The staff is unbelievably friendly. Fantastic place to unwind. Apparently it's for 'day drinking' and closes at 9PM. The staff speak English so that's a plus if you're like me and your Spanish is no bueno!

Vibes are incredible and of course hipster, drinks are great. This bar is very environmentally Aware. Mezcal’s and in house tequila are local and environmentally sustainable along with their many naturally fermented juices. I was able to chat a little with Bartender Marco and ask about recommendations to local places. Staff is very friendly and is a must go to spot to visit GDL.
