This hotel is new and is the hotel to stay when visiting Guadalajara. At first we thought it was kind of strange that it only had 2 reviews but we gave it a shot and it did not disappoint. Once we arrived at the hotel, the check-in was smooth, the bellboy (I think his name was Marco) he was so helpful and took our luggage to our room, he recommended us places to order food from and also took our food to the room, he also made sure that all our need were met and even explained how the tv worked. The room that we got on the 9th floor was perfect, nice view, the gym was on the same floor as well, room was spacious enough and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room also has a smart tv. Breakfast was AMAZING! One of the reasons why we will be returning, their chilaquiles and waffles and all of the other buffet style options were so good and different every single day. The staff here makes you feel at home and they were always making sure we were comfortable. Everything is at a good distance, we also found a restaurant bar that had mariachi (called casa bariachi) that was a 6 min taxi drive. Thank you so much to everyone, we will be recommending this hotel to the people we know.

Breakfast is incredible! Chilaquiles in 4 different sauces , stay 4 nights to try them all- Martin makes them delicious and with a great personality. Pablo, Enrique and Joseph take care of every detail.... Feel like a 5 star hotel without the price tag.

People makes the difference!!! While my room had a bit of noise from the hall and didn't had security box, I just commented that to the staff and they immediately switched me to a different room with better noise isolation and security box. Not to mention the exquisite breakfast, specially the chilaquiles. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Location is great as well.

The hotel it’s so clean and people are so friendly always willing to help or answer any question we may have. The breakfast buffet courtesy was so delicious and every day the offer something different. We definitely are going to stay here every time we come to Guadalajara!!!

I booked only one night here for my trip to Guadalajara, because I wanted to stay the other nights in the centre. I loved this hotel so much that I stayed the entire weekend! Outstanding hospitality, extremely clean, quiet rooms, comfortable firm beds, hot water always, and the best hotel wifi I have ever received in Mexico. The staff are always smiling. Also free delicious Mexican breakfast included daily and a great gym. Easy to get to centre with frequent bus service stop 20 metres away. I love Hotel Gumont!!

The location was ok, didn't like the torn down building next to it, but what can they do. Overall though the hotel was really nice and the food service was excelente. It made up for the location.

My overall experience was amazing first time visiting Guadalajara and our hotel selection was great. From the front desk to the room and the food all was amazing.

No one at front desk spoke English. Beds we’re not very comfortable. They advertise free parking but they ask to park and bring your car when leaving or arriving which then becomes valet charge. If you stay for a long period of time it adds up. Our view was pretty at night but during the day it wasn’t property next to the hotel was a dump an empty field filled with trash. The breakfast buffet and their servers I really enjoyed. I give them a 4 star in service because our Server Enrique Iglesias made my mornings, he was very polite and always had a great attitude. Cleaning ladies were also pleasant.

For what you pay this place is excellent. Location is great! Near everything. The service, the breakfast, the cleanliness, great! The breakfast buffet has the best chilaquiles ever! They have 4 different sauces available, my favorite was the Habanero, spicy! So good. My one complaint is the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the halls. Bring some ear plugs. Other than that, great stay.

The power went out twice in my two week stay. We didn’t have power or air conditioner during this time only the lights worked. I had to constantly go back to the front desk because the keys didn’t work for whatever reason. The wifi is slow too. Only good thing is the breakfast but even then there’s not too many vegetarian options even after I made a comment about this. The valet staff was kind.

Water bottles in the room are extra charge. Wifi is slow and wasn't even working in the morning. View from the first floor was literally garbage. You can hear loud noise from outside. Coffee in the room was really basic, with no sugar or cream. No ice machine either. Room service is excellent.

My friend recommended this place since it was close to his home, and it was within my budget of $100 CAD per night. Will I come back again? Yes! Do they have some areas of improvement? Also yes! SERVICE: English service is non-existent except for their booking website and the computers in the business center on the 2nd floor (even though the translations weren't the best at times). My friend had to help with the check-in procedure since my card got declined and none of the front counter staff knew how to explain the issue to me. But the service staff really tried. Especially at the breakfast buffet when I was served nice chilaquiles and coffee every morning, they tried to provide an award-winning experience which is much better than any hotel I've stayed at in the States or Canada. AMENITIES: The hotel has a gym, a parking lot for rented vehicles, a computer lab and vending machines with some Mexican snacks. I didn't recognize any of them so I ended up just walking to an Oxxo around the corner.

The room is were small but we'll put together and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The vallet was very convenient and were always very kind. The breakfast was delicious. Very quiet rooms as well.

To start, the hospitality was amazing. As you walk in you are greeted with a friendly hello. The included breakfast is as great as the hospitality. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the price is awesome as well. The rooms are great are as close as a sweet. The bathrooms are fantastic. And Netflix as well included if you want to Netflix and chill 😂😂😂. But all jokes aside. Awesome location and very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place.

01/15/2022 Update: been here last month we had small issue this time and the manager was fast to respond very great person, he is man of word. The rooms are very nice, love the style of the restroom. Their breakfast buffet is great. We are here for 2 days. The staffs seems nice

Excellent quality and comfort, specially for the price. Free buffet breakfast included, it is a little different every day. The only downside is that sometimes one of the two WiFi networks available it is slow, usually changing to the other one solves the problem.

The hotel was in a nice area, close to corner stores, half way to main attractions in Guadalajara. However, the rooms don’t have safes, unless you get the VIP room (it isn’t specified anywhere), overall the room was very nice, small, but enough space for what you need. It also says it has laundry amenities (we’re been traveling for a week and we still have a week left) but they don’t offer that either. Those little issues aside… the service was excellent, everyone is very nice, very helpful Trying to help you find the right places to go. The hotel offers tours to Chapala, Tequila, etc. Overall, my husband and I had a really good experience.
