A very good engineering & transport museum, civil & military. If you like engineering, military history, engines, technology, motorbikes, civil and military vehicles (helicopters and jets) this is a great museum. I've always just looked at the tanks, fighter planes and helicopters outside before, with always children playing. Now I'm very pleased I paid to come inside. And was charged only 10 UAH (I thought the sign said 25 - 80p). Mostly Soviet Union era, some older, some more modern. Only a few signs in English (all Russian) but plenty to look at.

The museum inside is nice for a quick 20 minute walk through which our 4 and 2 year olds really enjoyed but all the tanks, artillery, and helicopter outside the museum (no charge) was a huge hit!

It was very surprising to see a such an interesting museum with so many carefully prepared details inside. The museum has two floors. The first floor is about aviation and mostly about the aviation engines that has produced in Zaporizhzhya (today by the Ukrainian Motor Sich company). At the second floor mostly motorcycles are exhibited (some more information about aviation and other things as well). I am very impressed by the style of the exhibition; simple, but very informative. From the level of details that I've seen in the museum, I can say that the people who designed the museum were absolute professionals. I personally enjoyed the time that I've spent in this museum and I would love to see this museum again one day. The museum is itself nearly faultless. One humble suggestion that I can make is; adding 1-2 small screens to the interior. With the help of the screens and simple videos/animations, it would be possible to give better visual information about the functioning of engines and even about the technologies/processes of the engine production.

The collection is very rich and interesting. You can trace the history of constructing engines, enjoy several dozens of different samovars (huge kettles for boiling water for tea), admire hundreds of motorbikes. The only drawback here is that security and staff here are impolite and unpleasant

It's a good place to visit. This Aeronotical museum contains the machinery and ammo of airforce and army, which was used long back during world war days! The entry price is also cheap. Good to go around once!

Great place for kids and adults. History, original airplane engines (from the earliest piston ones till modern with slices, schemes, info), 30-40 bikes, airplanes, 2 helicopters and many more.
