The food and the service were super. Loved the crushed pumpkin starter. We had the platter for 4 between the 4 of us and it was more than enough. The meats were expertly cooked and delicious. Highly Recommended

Absolutely delicious Afghan food for an affordable price in Ariana II. I would particularly recommend the Kabuli Palau here which comes in a large portion wih rice and meat on the bone.

First time eating here. Good choices with chicken, lamb dishes as well as vegetarian options. I had the chicken curry and rice with a small amount of salad. Would have been nice to be offered a dressing for the salad. Thankfully the chicken was tender and the curry was very good. Prices are quite reasonable for most dishes but pricey for others, chips are £4, bottled water also £4.

Staff were absolutely lovely, and so accommodating with difficult dietary restrictions. Sumira (sorry if that's spelt wrong) was an incredible host and front of house, and the portions were incredible. It was a great time out for everyone involved.

Me and my partner visited the restaurant after we had been recommended it by a friend. The food was incredible and the service was attentive and helpful. We brought our own alcohol and they opened our wine for us. I will definitely recommend and visit again. It was very affordable and we boxed up and took some food home with us.

This is my newest random discovery. Never tried Afghan food before so thought I'll give it a go. It was a right choice - it's unbelievably tasty. It may seem similar to Persian or Pakistani cuisine, but in fact the flavours are quite different. The pumpkin and aubergine pastes (kadoo and baunjan buranee) were incredible, so was Kabuli Palow. The service was great - thr waitress was so friendly and very charismatic. The only downside is card only payment, but the atm is 5 min walk away by the overground station.

First sight, no one there, sat down, staff were nice. One tiny portion of condiment was given (some type of sauce before the bread so nothing to eat it with) while cooking smoke from the kitchen filled the restaurant. Prices were very high given the portion size, £17 (inc fee) mix grill only came with 2 skewers (usually should be 3) which was very average tasting and a salad that looked like it came from Aldi reduced section and rice with no seasoning and no grilled tomatoes which usually comes standard. No complementary soup or tea were offered at all! At similar restaurants with similar prices there are better views and atmosphere with many more complementary stuff eg tea and soup and much bigger variety of condiments. Music was barley heard and sounded very washed. On top of all of this there was a 12.5% service fee, not sure at all what for! Many better other places for the same price or cheaper and bigger portion sizes with much more generous service. Would not recommend to come here.

Excellent food, really delicious and unique. The restaurant itself is also nice. Our waitress, Samira was fantastic - really excellent service to top off a great meal.

Got takeout delivered to my hotel for my first Afghani food experience and I loved it. Ordered a couple dumpling dishes (all delicious), the national dish Kabuli Pulao, and kebabs. Everything was so delicious. Highly recommend!

First time eating at Ariana ll and the food was amazing!! Everything was freshy made and served piping hot. The portion size was huge which was great as most places now serve everything on the smallest plate possible. I ordered the meat samosa's and mixed grill which came with afghan rice and a mango lassi. The food was authentic and everything was full of flavour. The lassi was perfect and was not overly sweet. If you're vegetarian, they do have a variety of options available. The price is very reasonable considering the large portion. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and decor were very nice and authentic and showecased the Afghan culture. I loved how the Qur'an was being played - please continue to do this as not everyone wants to listen to music. I would highly recommend Ariana ll and I would definitely travel again from South London to eat here.

The food was tasty specially the rice and the meat , I was quite disappointed with the samosas they had no meat whatsoever and poorly made . I strongly suggest them to take them off the menu. The rest of the order was good

The food here is really great, well made rice and meats. Starters are great too. Portions are a great size. Staff were friendly and helpful. I think it is a shame this restaurant is cash only. In 2022 to find a place that doesn’t take card is not ok.

Food: I’ve had plenty of great homemade Afghan food so rarely eat out for it. The starters (manti, nan, dips) were fine. The qabuli pilau was poor. Carrots were not even caramelised. Very bland. Meat was also very bland too. Had much better elsewhere. Watered down Afghan cuisine. BUT the service was shocking. Friendly to our faces, but we overhead the waitress saying discriminatory things about a particular religious group. This made us feel unsafe. Wouldn’t return.

This is a lovely, welcoming and friendly restaurant in Kilburn. Every dish was fresh and tasty and there was a good variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. The portions are generous and everyone was incredibly helpful. Make space for a tasty starter of dumplings or filled savoury pastry. The main course grills are great value and well made and the baklava for dessert is fresh and sweet.

Great place for authentic Afghani cuisine. The tea here comes in a traditional pot and taste really good after a big meal to help you digest. Staff is very friendly as well.

Such a great local restaurant serving authentic food. The veggie/vegan food is always a hit and the kebabs have better flavours than every other restaurant in the area. There's always a great mix of people inside. Service is friendly and welcoming. We will be regulars for years to come!

Very nice. Their Kabul rice is delicious and my friends and I preferred the chicken in comparison to the lamb. We also order humus and spinach samosas, these were not my favourite but still nice. Will be back again soon! Hope I win the award for leaving a review haha

The Kabuli Palaw doesn't taste at all like real one they cook the rice separately and also they cook the carrots and raisin separately. When you order they quickly mix them to only look like Kabuli Palaw. My 1st and last time going to this restaurant.

My second visit to this excellent address - first was 4yrs ago. Such delicious food - we were a party of 8 on this occasion and so were able to sample most of the menu. Closer to Middle Eastern than Indian subcontinent. You could make a very satisfactory meal from the starters (don't miss the pumpkin!), but everything on the mixed grill that followed was heavenly, as is their bread. Service was gracious, relaxed and attentive, a rare combination. Bring your own wine, their food will do justice to your finest bottles. Highly recommended.

You won't find another restaurant like Ariana. Highly recommend. Having moved away from London I was really excited to come back here and so pleased that the food is just as good as I remember, as is the amazing chilli sauce which you cannot get anywhere else! Hopefully it won't be long before I'm back again.

We ordered the meal for 4 and the portion was very generous. The rice was so flavoursome and the meat, delicious and tender. To add, the catering staff were extremely kind and checked in on us to ask if we needed anything, which was really nice. I highly recommend dining here with a group of friends or family!

I Adore this restaurant. Whether you want takeaway or dine in- you will have a fantastic experience. The food is heavenly, homemade, and nourishing. Meat eaters will love it and there are also tons of vegetarian and even vegan options. The waitstaff is so lovely, attentive, and generous! I can't wait to come back again and again (and again). ❤️
