Lagos restaurants never cease to amaze me. I went to Sailors lounge to meet up with an old friend. When I got there I decided to sit at the deck to have a good view of the water (which smells tbh) and while we were talking the waitress dropped an empty bottle of Jameson on the table. We didn’t have any clue what it was for , until we asked for the menu. Then we were told that we had to buy the bottle placed on the table or something equivalent if we wanted to sit at the deck. Needless to say , we were shocked lol. How will you be telling me what to order? Why weren’t we informed before we sat down? I can only imagine that this is a way of trying coerce customers into spending large sums so they don’t embarrass themselves by standing up. It was very distasteful to me. Onto the main review , the food was alright nothing crazy. There was a great live band playing that day but it was very very loud. Having a conversation was so hard. It felt like I was in a club. Overall great view of the water , okay food but a bit too loud and the bottle stuff was just ridiculous.

Visited Sailors Lounge a second time and apart from the very cool view of the ocean, their food is really nice. I specifically requested my chicken Alfredo be extra spicy and I was so pleased by it. Let me add that their menu is now a barcode to be scanned so if you’re unsure of your ISP’s network, you have to consider this because there are no alternative ways to see the menu. If you’re lucky, when you’re there, the DJ may be playing cool jams or the live band may be up. They have 3 spots to seat at; indoor, outdoor (balcony like) and on the dock. If you’d stay on the dock, note that you’ll be required to buy a drink of a particular price. I didn’t check out their restroom so I can’t say say anything about it. Overall I had an amazing time.

This is one of the best place to hang or chill out on a cool evening. The lounge which is surrounded by water makes it so unique and serene. The environment is comforting, calming and welcoming. They service is so amazing. Their life band music is so entertaining without being too loud. The Sailors grill fish is havens, it tastes so delicious alongside with yam. I enjoyed every bit of it. The decorations and lightenings are great too. I don’t mind visiting more often. I strongly recommend.

It was my first time at the Sailors Lounge but my companion had been there several times. The ambience is what hits you first as you walk in. You get that tranquil serenity as if you are onboard a boat. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor dining is what brings many there with the beautiful view of the sea. The staff were very nice and service was excellent. It wasn't in full capacity, so I don't know if service would suffer at full capacity. I like the girls in their outfits. The food was very flavourful. I ordered for what was described on the menu as southern fried chicken with sides of baked beans. The chicken was more like spicy peppered chicken and no baked beans. They get a big tick for their cocktails. There was many options to choose from and all the ones I had were skillfully done. The menu is expensive for the quality delivered and they need to work on the menu to ensure it delivers to expectations. Overall, it is a great place to dine. I would definitely come back again. For the staff, I would like to commend Gladys, she was an excellent waiter.

The food is good but the service is so bad. You will order food and it will take more than 2 hours before it arrives. If you ask for something it’s like you are begging them to bring it.

This is my fourth time visiting Sailor's lounge and still never been disappointed. Although it didn't have the usual crowd I have accustomed it to but it was quite busy. With loud music on one side and the cool breeze from the lagoon on the other, the lounge has always been one of my best go to places in Lekki. The whole feel of sailors lounge is cozy and cool. I love that most of the establishment sits atop water, the view of water from outside is also beautiful; this lends to the breezy nature present. The DJ present when I visited met us with old school sounds, and that was refreshing. The service is pretty fast. My only issue (which is quite minor) is that the restroom isn't lit better and the mirror isn't a little larger and higher (a niche complaint I'd say).

There is no way I will come to Lekki and not visit Sailors Lounge again, is a perfect place for evening hangout with loved one, business partner and even football lovers. I love the fact that it was carved into sections! The bar, more like the general place, and the lower deck were you have wine tables for two, for three etc. During weeks they will have specials performance as well. Featuring artist. Yes, they have food, good food! The only part I really didn’t get was the menu, a little pricy for the wine 🍷! Just my take!

Food was really great …we had fish and snails. The food took a long time to come out but it was worth the wait. Our waitress was not attentive to us or helpful. She served us the food without any cutlery and we had to ask 3/4 times for it and wait about 20 minutes to get the cutlery and by this time the food was cold.

I think it is worth it if you call this place the Best Restaurant. Let's begin with the courteous Staff. This place is located partly on sea, it is a real lounge for people to come and not just just take a break but to eat good food. There are a variety of international dishes available on request. The food is prepared very fresh and steaming hot. The drinks are also prepared from scratch. The ambience! Oh so romantic and beau9. Their Manager; Madam Victoria is an Angel on earth, she works! Works and works even goes as far as attending tables. The only thing I think they can work on is wait time. We waited 45 minutes to get our main course. No, it is not accessible. The Restaurant is located in a Cabin-like structure on the sea, so, I do not know how a Wheelchair ramp can be created here but it will be a good addition. I enjoyed the food so much I did not want to eat any other food, for fear it might corrupt the good food. Did you notice the view of the Ikoyi Link Bridge from the Lounge?

Its quiet and not too rowdy at this time. The view beside the sea is awesome. Its airy and has an outdoor & indoor sitting. They have a variety of drinks and meals. The meals are expensive though but the appearance is lovely. In general, its a lovely spot to hangout especially in this period. The staff are courteous and friendly as well and there's ample Parking lot. The lighting thereis also beautiful. You just feel at ease there.

The Sailor's Lounge has been one of the places I always wanted to visit. I'm so glad that I finally did, yesterday, my birthday and I enjoyed every moment I spent especially towards sunset. The sight of the Lagoon and the cool breeze that comes with it was so refreshing. I must commend the DJ for the good music. In summary, I had a beautiful experience 😊

Generally a nice place with good food. We had a fish and a chicken dish. 1 star because an employee threw multiple big trash bags over the rail right in front of the guests. Do people want to live in trash and drink dirty water? I think the owner should take action here.

Lovely lounge that’s sits on top of the water. You can actually see your the water underneath your feet. Nice breeze buy the water while listening to the magic beats of the music. I smiled the whole time I was there. This place is u forgettable.

The Sailor's Lounge is a cool place to hangout with friends and loved ones. If you are looking for a serene environment and water front to chill out at night and have the feel of cruising, you are just at the right place. I love the background music. The waitresses are just too many and the one who served us doesn't have knowledge of the wine the offer. Customer service is zero. We ordered for seafood and strawberry milkshake while eating I was choking I had to beckon on the waitress to get me water. You won't believe it took her over 30 minutes to bring the water. I would suggest that good customer relationship training should be given to the waitresses.

My 1st time at the Sailors and I was overwhelmed by the Live Band and the foods was very tasty.

Why will it be a rule that a lady or ladies that were properly dressed can’t go in without a man? It was a friend’s birthday and we went there only to be stopped at the door until we entered with a man. Very terrible service as it took a very long time to get what was ordered. The ambience was cool by the way and it was such a lovely sight when it got dark. Sailors lounge do something about that as it is degrading to women!

The service is on point, And the music wasn't too much that you need to stress to have conversation.

I loved the life band so much that I actually got up to dance for hours especially when they started gyration songs. It brought back so many memories from my High School days. The barbecue cat fish was also very good.

The security men at the door refused to let my husband into the restaurant because he was wearing shorts and even had the audacity to suggest we go and eat somewhere else. The staff inside the restaurant didn't allow us sit by the sea side and said we can only sit there at night. There were just too many rules and regulations for a place that you are coming to spend your own money. The meal we had however was tasty. The portion was very large. We ordered a platter and 4 of us couldn't finish it. All in all, I won't be visiting sailors lounge again.

The ambience and tranquility is amazing! For the ladies, you could wear something casual and chick with either heels or sneakers. The food was good, their drinks have funny names. Don't bother ordering the BBQ Grilled Cat Fish, Baba na scam! It was not decorated not properly cooked, they even added too much cameroon pepper. Me and Babe see ween for the pepper!

My friend and I decided to visit Sailors Lounge; we were after somewhere with a ‘chilled vibe’ She arrived before I did and sat on the dock. Shortly before we requested the menu, the waiters had distributed empty packs of liquor to the tables, whilst we were sitting. Following this, they informed us that to order food, we had to buy the drink or the price equivalent that was on our table. This was ridiculous as we had not been informed of this policy prior to being ushered to the table and/or even when the drink pack was dropped. I would add that we had to scan a barcode to view the menu and unfortunately I didn’t have service the entire time and there was no alternative way for me to see the menu, thankfully my friend had network. We eventually changed seats and ordered basic fries and chicken wings and chap man. There was a live band performance which was amazing but it got too loud and we had to leave because we couldn’t hear ourselves. There needs to be a balance though, I want to go out and listen to a live band and not have to shout to be heard.

This is an okay hangout spot. I hear they have some good music on Sunday evenings but I wasn't there to experience it. You should definitely use your map when you don't know this place or you're just trying it, it's not so easy to locate. Their food is not as amazing as it should be considering their location and expectations. They should improve on time management and food. The environment is serene, they have alternative if you have phobia for water, it's really a good place to chill and unwind. It's located in the busiest area of Lekki so incase you want an environment change, you don't have to stress. Try their seafood and amazing drinks on the menu.

Sailors lounge is beside Daytona supermarket on lekki phase 1. Its a bar that's a view of Lagos lagoon. You can have a clear view of the lagoon from sailors lounge.

Sailor lounge sits by the Lagos lagoon overlooking the famous lekki ikoyi link bridge. The architecture is awesome with the restaurant sitting partly on the water... The view is good, the food is tasty and massive and the ambience is peaceful. Entertainment includes TV placed at different places for sports or music. Constructed on wood giving the sailor's feel.

Sailors lounge was relaxing and the music was soothing. Parking was well coordinated and the ambiance was good. They should however improve on the time it takes to take your order. The service was great otherwise. The bathrooms were clean.

Really cool ambience, the sound of the waves lapping the poles just beneath your feet is exhilarating. Tip: be sure to hold your belongings, so they don't fall. Food is pricey but enough– I actually ate french fries to my satisfaction. They've got these weird but really nice drinks too. It's a great place to have a quiet breakfast 😁. I think I like it.

The ambience is cool and the decor is impressive. The bouncers were quite civil and courteous. However, I was not particularly impressed with the service from waitress who attended to us, time of food delivery after placing order(almost 1hour) and also taste/quality of what my friend and I ordered. Their Sailor's special platter was uninviting and some of the items on it were cold (prawns especially). Not sure i will be ordering this anytime soon, that is if I ever go there again. For the setting/location and price of food/drinks on the menu, i expected a lot more. Even drinks (Chapman and mojito) took a while to be delivered and when it was delivered, the taste was just bleh. My friend had to even request that the Chapman be changed as it literally just tasted of fanta! In conclusion, the only enjoyable part of their menu is the ram suya. This was nicely done and quite tasty and was also delivered in about 15mins. Alas, upon requesting for another set as takeaway, close to another hour was spent before it was delivered! Whhhheeewww. Sincerely not sure I will visit again. I am so unimpressed with the entire outing that photos were the last thing on my mind! Lol

I think if you want to go there on a Sunday you may have to go earlier than 6. We were there for 30minutes and that whole time was spent looking for where to sit. They should just have said there was no seat available from the gate but No, they'll let you come in and stand around like you've got nothing better to do! The manager lady is also a little harsh on customers that were trying to create seat space for themselves

The vibe here is so chill especially for an outdoor eating place. Went here for a date night last Tuesday and the service was 2nd to none. The manager Grace was amazing from the beginning, we came in early in the day to make an evening reservation and she was very accommodating and allowed us to pay for a bottle and select the exact table we wanted. Once we arrived in our matching outfits we set the tone for the night that we wanted the best. Our waitress Glory was fantastic from the beginning and super sweet. We ordered the Grilled Catfish and it was huge definitely more than enough for 2 people to share. I also ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Thai curry dish and it had huge pieces of meat and seafood and the portions was perfect. The curry came with a side of rice. Overall we enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit there again during our stay here in Lagos!! Oh they also have hookah!

The live band was really amazing...performing everything from our naija afrobeat flavour to chart topping contemporary music by various international acclaimed artists. Their voices were so in sync with the actual artists...captivating! Also offered a lovely ambience by the waterside. Great stuff!

Food presentation was exciting. Not so tasty though. The layout is relaxing and the staff seem well-organised. The menu items seem over-priced - but then again, so is every other thing in Lekki. Lol. All in all, the waterside bar is a relaxing place to enjoy a Lagos evening.

They have a varied menu of delicious meals(of course various fish available), cocktails, wines, spirits and beer, all reasonably priced. Shisha is also available. There is a reasonably sized well secured parking area in front. The overall service delivery is not bad, )it gets sizeable patronage, so you might need to be patient for your orders). Sailors lounge is definitely A must visit !!!

My last visit was quite enjoyable. There wasn't really very strict temperature checking and hand sanitising before accessing the premise. I enjoyed the fact that you can choose the comfort of the indoor, semi indoor and outdoor. The lounge overlooks the sea so it was quite relaxing. The waiter was quite helpful and professional. The pricing of the meals wasn't so bad and definitely worth it. The meal tasted quite nice. I had the beef burger and was tempted to order another but I had to leave for another engagement. For football lovers, you can catch the Premier league games there. The only issue I really had was that there was a door that was getting fixed while we were there and this was quite loud and distracting. It would have been nice to have had it fixed before opening or after closing.

I had a great time here! Sat outdoor by the beach to have our meal, the food was good and not too pricey. The D.J's music selections was also amazing!

Amazing life band played. Tasty kidney and chilled beer. Love the ocean breeze and view. Clean restroom must be commended. The cordination of the parking lot guys was superb too.

Nice ambience with the beautiful view of the sea. The order came quite early and I hope it will be same if they had full capacity. Had grilled Crocker fish ,it was tasty and well prepared. The service was also nice,their girls well dressed and courteous. It is a great place to dine and hopefully will visit again.

The Catfish pepper soup is awesome. Quite pricey but totally worth it. And the sea view is nice. Go at night for a better time. There's a life band.

They have 3 spots to seat at; indoor, outdoor (balcony like) and on the dock. If you’d stay on the dock, note that you’ll be required to buy a drink of a particular price. I didn’t check out their restroom so I can’t say anything about it. In conclusion it's a nice place to found yourself in.
