It was only a 45 minute drives. To experience not very good food. I have no idea what part of the meat that is but it was hard. there was no flavor. I promise in 10 mins or so the food was out the wait time was not long. I was surprised but I also not worried because I figured they knew what they were doing. Or maybe they have pre-cooked food that they just warm up. Least to say but if food wasn’t good. And to drive that far to be let down is not good.good could have been wayyyyyy better. I guess it depends on what you order.. but will never do that again.

The atmosphere of this place was amazing the guy that greeted me was very friendly and he was very helpful. He let me try samples of different soups to see what I like even tho I already knew what I wanted. The food was ok it wasn’t to spicy and that’s what I had liked about it. I will try this place out again.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. I loved the juicy flavors in the beef suya. You must dip the beef into the suya seasoning to get the real experience. It is spicy but just right for the authentic taste of suya. Next, lets talk about the jollof rice. It is so delicious and full of tomatoe flavor. I love it when I get a chunk of chard rice because it is the best. I ordered the fried fish and it was juicy and flavorful. The music and atmosphere is exactly what you need to hear while dining in this restaurant. They have a parry lounge space on the back for special entertainment and the owner is the master chef. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. This is definitely one place you should stop by when you are in the mood for something different and very tasty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the best experience during my first visit to Fad! It was my second time trying Nigerian food and I chose the best place to visit. We were greeted by the friendliest host that help us pick the yummiest dishes available. We will definitely keep coming back!

The website says this an award winning restaurant but it didn’t give what it was supposed to. First of all, I drove for more than 30 minutes to pick up my order. Only to find out upon arrival that the person I spoke to over the phone didn’t actually take down my order. My right mind told me to leave but I was excited to try the food so I waited. Huge mistake. I ordered chicken stew and received a bunch of mystery meat in red sauce—most of which was pork, that I do not eat. For me, the pounded yam was the best part. However, I will not eat from here again. Side note: if you’re thinking about dressing nice and dining in, this ain’t it!

My favorite place to go when I am looking for delicious and authentic African cuisine. The owner is passionate about the food he is making because every bite tastes like love. I couldn’t help but do a happy dance between bites to celebrate the amazing flavors. As a foodie, this place has my vote every single time.

We came across this gem after a long day out. They were welcoming and very informative of the different dishes. They even brought out some samples of the soup to try! We ended up getting the suya for an appetizer, the efo egusi with fufu and jollof rice with assorted stewed meat (goat, chicken, fish) that came with efo riro and plantains. Everything was delicious and we definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try African cuisine 😊

I came to FAD with my girls from out of town. The owner was very welcoming the moment we stepped inside the building and gave us some tasters. The suya and suya spice was amazing. We ended up ordering a bunch of items on the menu. You should absolutely stop by.

Good food. For me, they redeemed african cuisine. The daily specials were less than ten dollars! This is now one of my favorite places to eat in Mableton. Real community vibes, cool aesthetic. A games table, a dining area, bar, The Back Porch for outdoor dining/parties/live entertainment and an alcove for live music. Very welcoming. It's quiet weekdays. Good for a late lunch.

Fad was very friendly and made sure we knew about the cuisine and it's origins! Adishawa our server was very personable and also explained the dishes as well. I will return to try more of the food. It was spicey tho and the meat not tender but ohhhh so flavorful! Update FAD has a new location! It is bright airy and open. It has a game table that helps the time go by while waiting for your food. They food was great! My Suya was perfect! I had the Tuesday special

The food was incredible! This is my first time having African food and our server Tobiloba gave us a menu that specifically broke down Nigerian cuisine to get us more familiar and also brought us some samples of the soups. I had Ero Egusi with beef and chicken with pounded yam. It was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

The service is real. This restaurant called a bug in the on for any and everything that you desire. It’s almost as if you’re on vacation at a resort in Nigeria, which is unheard of for an African restaurant. The food comes in large portions, everything is packaged to perfection whether you’re ordering online or if you’re dining in. You get the full experience. The food is fresh cooked to your liking no other way. The owner has gone above and beyond to make sure that each customer is happy no matter where they come from or where they’re going. Personally, I am a fan of veggie soup and the Egusi and this is the only restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life of 34 years on this planet where the restaurant is not afraid to give you a lot of melon seeds in your Egusi( it’s as if their growing it in the back lol). The customer service is surreal

I hate to be the one to give a one star because I love to support, but this experience was a unacceptable and I will not be going back. I called in stewed chicken with jollof and plantain for pick up. When my food was ready, something told me to look at my food but I wanted to trust that my food was right because I've been handled by the Owner. I get home, look at my food and it looks like goat instead of chicken. I end up going back to FAD and luckily the Owner was still there because they had closed. I informed him of the wrong order and he gladly took it back. As he took my food, I went outside to handle something in my car, when I came back inside, I seen him trying to close the container. I asked him if it was actually goat and not chicken, he didnt respond. I thought maybe he didnt hear me. He stops trying to close it as I walk up and tells me to look at it first to make sure I'm okay with it. I looked at it, it looked different from what I had originally so I assumed AGAIN he knew what he was talking about, aslo not really knowing what goat looks like and maybe they cut their chicken differently. So he goes to tell me that I had an Uber order and that they ordered goat and that what he had in his hands was chicken.I arrive home and open my food. I then take my knife to cut the "meat" and its hard as a brick and IS NOT CHICKEN. Its literally the same goat but he had messed with the placement of the meat to make it seem like it was a different plate. I am so disappointed that a business owner would allow this experience to be my first. We literally had a conversation as I was paying so just to know that experience doesnt matter as long as they got the money. Typical Nigerian behavior, scammers. I came up there twice, and was not mean or disrespectful. I just wanted what I paid for. I dont eat goat and even if I did, it seems as if its over cooked. And Im disgusted that he would play with a customers food just to suffice so you can go home. Im over it FAD. Update: After trying the rest of my food, I can say whole heartedly that this is the worst African food Ive ever had and Ive never had bad african food. Highly disappointed. The rice has a burnt flavor to it, they had the fire up too high when hey had the oil on. Easy. The only thing they did right was cook the banana! Update 2: I disputed the charge but thanks. And I’ve had jollof on multiple occasions, home cooked and at a restaurant. Never tasted “burnt”.

My first time trying African Cuisine and I must say it was tasty and very good. I would definitely be coming back and recommending it to others. I am not disappointed but more so happy with the quality, taste and representation. Thanks for fulfilling my desire of African food.

Beautiful atmosphere and welcoming staff. My Egussi was pretty clumpy and lightly seasoned.

Ordered Suya and Rice. Half my plate was just fat. Meat was very dry and chewy. They forgot my rice. Lesson learned. Won’t be back.

I was in Atlanta for a few days and a friend recommend we visit the FAD restaurant for dinner. I had Jollof rice, goat meat and plantain and I must say it was the tastiest meal I've had outside Nigeria. The owner also offered us complimentary suya to try. It was delicious. If you are in the Atlanta area please stop by the FAD restaurant at 6065 Mableton Parkway, Mableton. I can guarantee you will delight at every taste that goes into your mouth 😊

Great first experience with Nigerian food! Tobi was the best server and did a fantastic job showing us all the many dishes that Nigerian cuisine has to offer. I had jollof rice with goat and chicken and FAD graciously accommodated our large 8 person group. We also were able to sample a variety of stews to decide which ones we wanted to eat. Everyone at the restaurant made us feel so welcome - 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to come back for the zobo drink in the summer!
