This place is dead, don't be deceived by the quality of my pictures, in this case don't trust the images. It'sis my phone bringing what is dead alive. The receptionist didn't help the matter even after this place has been improved I would advise she should be sacked. The ticketer on the other hand was okay. But I repeat do not be deceived by the pictures this place is dead.

Visited Trans-Amusement Park after a very long time. Although it has fallen short of its former glory due to lack of maintenance, it is still a nice place for a picnic, hangout or get-together. To enter, you'll have to pay a fee of ₦300 per person. You can bring food and drinks into the park if you plan on having an event, picnic or get-together. Regarding the rides, you will pay a separate fee of ₦300 per ride for each person. As at 28th of December 2022, 4 rides are functional and are in operation. You are not required to pay any fee for the slide as that is free for now. There is also a restaurant/bar and a spot to get snacks while in the park.

Perfect place for get together or a picnic and outdoor events...Also one of the most ideal places for kids to have fun..serene activities and lots of fun rides at affordable rates..entrance fee is 300 naira at the time of writing this review..There are restaurants in the park that serves different kinds of local dishes and snacks. There is a bar here too. But like most places in Nigeria, a lot can be done to improve the facilities. It is advisable to have enough cash when coming as they donde usually take transfers for gate fee.

The structure is there, very great place to hang and go on picnics. Just gives the vibe of an abandoned park. Was shocked the roller coaster and some other rides still work Still, a great place

If you're looking for an adrenaline-filled adventure, this amusement park might not be the place for you. It appears to be a perfect setting for a horror movie, with one of the rides already covered in bushes. However, if you're in search of a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, this might just be your spot. Although the park is non-functional in terms of rides, it could be a great location for a group picnic or a serene space for meditation. The admission fee is affordable at 300 naira per head, making it a budget-friendly option for a low-key outing

Although the facilities/ Amusement park rides have all disintegrated into nothingness, the vast lands available gives hope for a potential revamping.

Used to be a nice place. But now it's no longer running. But a nice spot for picnics. A good field for party. Not totally sure if the roller coaster ride works. But the last time I was there I was told it wasn't working.

Trans Amusement Park is an abandoned project. An untapped gold mine. Wasting away in the heart of Ibadan. Formerly used to be a recreational center and fun loving place for kids. Now, the remains is just a few pub here and there making peanuts from the dieing facility. The land size is more than 10 football pitch' Filled with beautiful Trees and structures but lacks maintenance. People still go there today because it's cheap and keeps you away from the crowd. Enough air and space for all. My first time there, I wished I could raise 10 million dollars, bring it back to life. With that kind of invested, trans Amusement will generate 100k dollar monthly from the 2nd year in operation. If restored one can build a 2 star and 3 star hotel that will never be empty in the weekends. The opportunity is enormous

You can have fun here but most of the rides here are really old so there is nothing to trill you. It only a place to receive fresh air or have your birthday party.

There are businesses surrounding Trans Amusement park. It's a spacious place for all manners of ocassions both indoor and outdoor. More than enough parking space with good security.

  • 5/5 Ademola A. 2 years ago on Google
The place is a shadow of its former glory. Trans Amusement Park is sitting on a vast area of land within a stone-throw away from Bodija international market. The facilities are outdated, dilapidated and mostly nonfunctioning which can be attributed to poor management. Aside the above, it's a great place for picnic and outdoor activities for both children and adults.

It's no longer the fun place it use to be. Very bushy and unkempt, Disgruntled Staff who won't attend to you warmly. The whole device there, i doubt if they still work. It's now a beer parlour where some people come to smoke and drink. A park that's suppose to be bubbling with activities especially during festive period. It's now a place for events. So sad

  • 3/5 Jacob E. 1 year ago on Google
The Place is great as in the past, But needs serious facelifts, Even the Roller Coaster is dilapidated, Paintings fades away or in some cases completely washed off, Not to talk of Horse Ride. The Entrance was an Eyesore. In conclusion Trans Amusement Park seriously needs Privatisation. I strongly believe that with an Edifice so wonderful as Trans Amusement Park in Private Hands, There will be a complete and wholistic Turnaround... God bless Oyo State, Nigeria...

Back in the 2000s, everything about Trans- as popularly called, was amusing. After the sales of a huge part of the park to some wealthy business persons and subsequent erection of buildings and shops, the place lost its identity. It's hard to tell that a park exist there. Trans is still a good place for picnic and open ground ceremonies. However, I would advice you stay home if your purpose of visiting is to enjoy "Disneyland-like" adventure.

Trans Amusement Park, Bodija Ibadan, is not what it used to be when I was a child growing up in Ibadan. Back then, it was a real amusement park with various rides, slides and attractions that kept children and adults really amused. These days, it functions more as an entertainment stop catering more to adults and a bit of shopping strip. Hopefully, it regains its' intended use.

Nice place to bring kids for fun even though some of the machines here have gone quite bad. Couple of other businesses on site. I like the bar here.

Trans amusement park is one of the relaxation center especially for kids in the city of Ibadan. I have known the center for more than 30 years. It's a nice place for naming ceremony, wedding ceremony and celebrations of any kind. You can bring your family and kids for relaxation and party. There's spacious parking space and varieties of relaxation facilities for kids. You can get your ticket by cash or card. Visit the place today for more update on the ticketing process but you will definitely get value for your money. Thanks for reading.

Went there for Bella shrmuda concert and it was really fun. I feel Oyo state government should do better by renovating and reopening the amusement park….it used to be really fun park while I was younger. It needs to be refurbished. All the games and amusement equipment should be refurbished.
