I experienced nature in a very long time. The quietness of the nature park plus the refreshing feeling of the sounds of birds and the scent of the trees, grasses and shrubs in the forest. It's a great adventure in summary. I experienced total silence and peace in this place. Living in the city will make you forget the feeling of total silence and quietness until you visit Lufasi Nature Park 🏞️.

OVERVIEW: Lufasi nature park is a wonderland of nature, situated at bashorun town, along Lekki-epe expressway. The park houses natural habitat of trees, flowers, and some animals. This place breaths freshness of air. Almost pure. ENTRANCE FEE: To enter the park, you pay #1000 only per head, and children are free. You can also host events here like wedding, parties, picnics, for a subside rate. There is a children play park. A lovely place for family gathering, couple's hangouts, and individual reflective moment with nature.

Lufasi offers silence and serenity to everyone tired of the Lagos wahala. They have animal sanctuaries, friendly staff and not aggressive sellers. There are a few trails to walk on and playground, monkeys and horses. Loved the place!

Lovely place to relax with natural vegetative cover, fresh air, swings for both children and adults, basketball court, mini football pitch and volleyball court. I will definitely be visiting Lufasi more often.

Took my son on a field trip to Lufasi and it was great. Affordable and everywhere looked really maintained, staff were friendly and Nike our tour guide was patient, warm and had a great knowledge of the place, we went on a weekday so it was practically empty which was perfect for social distancing. I recommend the place if you need some time in nature or want to bring your kids to explore.

Visited the park unplanned but it was worth it. Love the serene environment, Feel good of nature. Aside the duck and monkey I saw, was expecting to see more animals (birds, peacock). I've recommended to a few friends and colleagues to come enjoy nature.

Such a calming place, literally once you walk a few meters in it's like you've travelled miles into a forest. All you hear is calmness, birds and the sound of the trees in the wind. There is a play area for children and young adults, there is even a few table-tennis tables. A big lake with bridges going over, as well as animal section that has monkeys, donkeys and horses. Really enjoyed it and wish to visit it again. Entrance price was 500NGN in Aug 2023.

Lufasi Nature park is a wonderful space. birds chirping, serene and calm, greenery and the atmosphere, very pure and natural. My favorite spot here is the Lake Moses, it's so beautiful ❤️ I was genuinely happy at the place 🙂 The space is great for pre wedding shoots, picnics, camping, family get together and more.

I was overwhelmed by greenery, fullness of nature, pure air, and tranquility when I visited Lufasi Park. The quiet that welcomed me after about 40km of drive time to get to it was therapeutic. My mission was to take a brief tour round and get illustration ideas for my book of poetry. But the vastness of nature was so much my friend - Uwem Udoh - and I got lost on the magnificence of this park that we simply did lots of sight seeing while he took pictures. There are many spots to chill and relax. There are many spots for gatherings and getting together. There are various spots for animals sight seeing. There are lots of spots that make you feel like you are in a safe jungle. And lots more. The best way to describe here is to ask you to go see it. It's a long way from Mainland. It's even a long way from Victoria Island. But it's worth the journey.

I personally love lufasi Nature park . It's one of my favorite,if not the best park so far in Lagos state,Nigeria . It's very calm, good for picnics. With a thousand naira as entry fee, you are assigned a tour guide to take you round ,showing you the entire park itself . Food and drinks are allowed, although there is a food vendor at the park where you can buy something to eat and drink . I do visit the park alone sometimes ,just to stay out and read a book. You should visit .

You want peace and quiet to camp and to enjoy nature? Then you have to come to Lufasi. I call it the tamed jungle. Go to nature and get nourished. And the good thing about the Park is that the creator is always looking for new ways to make your visits memorable. In other words be sure to see a new upgrade if it's been a long time you visited.

A sure bet for picnics. If your love language is quality time, then that's a place to be with that special someone or even just yourself. I love every bit of the place!

A nature's paradise. The air is clean and environment good to clear one's head or take a stroll in nature. There are birds, Monkeys, horses, donkeys and all sorts of our animals in the wild. There is a lake with a bay where one can relax and relish nature. Go with your mosquito repellent though

The park provides the much needed walk in nature that is needed in Lagos. While many photos of the birds in the park are available, I didn't get to see any especially the endangered hooded vulture said to be in the park, although I heard birds chirping.

Basking in Nature’s delight at @lufasipark Lagos, Nigeria. •LUFASI is an acronym for Lekki Urban Forestry and Animal Shelter Initiative: dedicated to the preservation of natural habitats in urban areas for use as a field laboratory to interact with and learn from nature. It’s an ideal park to de-stress and become relaxed by •trekking through the woods •listening to the birds chipping •feeling the breeze through the trees •breathing in fresh air and smelling the fragrance of the trees •yoga meditation in the garden •kayaking •fishing in the lake •and watching the sun set. Entry fee is 1,000NGN per adult Kayaking fee is 2,500NGN for 30 minutes per adult. Thinking of nature therapy? Picnics or general relaxation? Then you should pay a visit to @lufasipark

Best advice is go as a group! It will come in handy for bonding games, team retreats and even Ultimate Search, but certainly not for a lone ranger. I didn't find anything so exciting apart from the trees and nature experienced during the long walk. Also the sun seems to be at its best here, nature park right. So grab a sunscreen and sunshades for extra protection. If possible, bring a hand-held fan, as contrary to what we thought there was no natural breeze.

I met other tourists and my knowledge of this tour area. It is interesting to have this sort of park with heavy growths almost surrounded by residential areas. However, the distance covered was quite short compared to my usual tour experience but it felt great at the end.

I visited Lufasi Nature Park with high expectations, but I left feeling disappointed. While the entrance fee was indeed affordable, it unfortunately reflected the lackluster quality of the park. The maintenance of the park was subpar, with unkempt pathways and poorly maintained facilities. The low entrance fee may have attracted visitors initially, but it was clear that this came at the expense of proper upkeep.

If you’re looking for a nature park with a rustic charm and plenty of growth potential, Lufasi Nature Park is the perfect place for you! Nestled in the heart of Lagos, this nature park has abundant natural beauty and is home to the majestic Ekki tree, also known as the iron wood tree. The park is still growing in popularity, but it's a hidden gem worth discovering. Whether you're a nature lover or simply want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, Lufasi Nature Park is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Lufasi Nature Park is really a park as the name implies. Very clean and cared for. A good place to relax and enjoy nature. The areas I love most are the forest bath the Lake. It is usually very busy on weekends than on week days. The summer time is also the best time to visit. During the rainy season it can be muddy in some area.

It is a very serene space. The sound of the wind beating the trees is so relaxing and can be enjoyed on an abundance of benches. The clean air makes you realize that you might have just been taking in poison all this time int he city. Despite it being a peck period on Sunday, when we went, the number of people did not in anyway detract from the serenity, and the staff were more than willing to take us around. Even though you would need to do quite a considerable amount of walking to see the entire space. It is well worth it for the 1,000 naira gate fee.

Great place to be. A literal breath of fresh air in the middle of chaotic lagos. Wetlands conserved over thirty years with a diverse amount of wildlife. The canopy walk might be the star attraction; dizzying and giving great views, The park and the board walks, when slowly taken in and appreciated, give a lot more to visitors. There's also a bird watch, always remember to ask questions for maximum effect.

If you are a lover of nature, this one is for you. Lufasi park is a great place where you can explore nature and find yourself immersed in its eccentric surroundings. The entry fee is affordable and is accessible to all ages —you can visit with your partner, parents, friends and family. With a welcoming atmosphere and a tour guide that takes you through the park, you will have nothing short of an incredible adventure. There are lots of great things to look forward to such as the gardens, animals, lake, forest bathing, games etc. Even though some cages are empty and the animals are no longer there, the overall experience is great. So if you seek a place where you can find your inner child and drive inspiration for your next project, visit Lufasi Nature Park.

Very nice and lovely place to visit most especially the children. The atmosphere is cool with nice trees and few animals. The ladies walking us around are also calm and friendly with us. The restroom is also neat and tidy. They have different playing games for children and volleyball for adults. But they needs to work on the DJ. Ones the music stopped playing, no one looks back to check. But apart from that, kudos to Lufasi management. ?

A cool place to get close to nature. Feel the cool breeze of nature away from the ever busy Lagos fumes. With cool live band to entertain you with music and get to play with animals. Listen to the beautiful sounds of the west Africa birds. Play ground for kids to play with a volleyball court and a sand field for a five aside soccer. You need a place to spend with you love ones away from the ever busy Lagos life close to nature. LUFASI Natural park is a place to be.

I really love this place. It is so close to nature. The air here is fresh and the atmosphere is serene. As I entered this park, I felt peace. It was as if I had left lagos and its traffic and wahala. This place is so cool and calm and made me connect to nature. I really thought of my hometown while I was here. This place is a good place to cool off. I wish it had a lodging in it. My favorite spot is the ekki forest. There are tall trees which are said to be very strong and over 100 years. The most interesting thing about this forest is the forest bathing which is said to have some natural benefits like relieving stress etc Did I mention there is a zoo here? There are goats, donkey, horse, monkey, duck, tortoise. The tortoise is said to be over 100 years. There are outdoor games here, table tennis etc There is also a children play ground.

Feel nature in its purest form. I like the fact that they maintain the place. It's a cool place to go when you want to feel nature. Few animals in here. Secured and enough car park space. Safe to bring kids but you have to watch over them. There are mosquitoes so be sure to come with an insect repellent. I liked the time spent here for camping.

LUFASI Park is one of the most visited nature park along the Lekki Epe Expressway of Lagos. It natural ambience will set you up for relaxation. The Founder of LUFASI is a lover of nature and care for animals that could readily settle in people cooking pots. This park has been used for so many nollywood movies, music videos, recreational activities, school excursions, wedding receptions, birthdays and forest bathing. Being the only natural park in the midst of fast developing real estate communities, LUFASI offers membership for frequent visitors, and light refreshment. Families can enjoy games, children play area, table tennis and board games.

It's a lovely Nature's park. Owned by a private body, Mr. Desmond Majekodunmi. It's a good place in the city to breath fresh air. This is a must visit once you are in Lagos state.

Awesome experience, cant believe the place is privately funded, saw the owner forest bathing under one of the trees. It could do more by having more wildlife though. Love the fact that they had play area for kids. Quite refreshing, the peace and tranquillity you will experience would make you forget that you are a stone throw from the madness of Lagos

Amazing experience. We paid #2,000 for entry and canopy work. The canopy work was scary but fun and we proceeded to the family park were we had snacks, played table tennis, took a few pictures. We climbed the tree house and that was another exciting experience. In all it was a serene, quiet, cool and amazing experience.

Listen, this is a place to recharge from the toxicity of modern life, take repeated walks around the park then add a visit to the spa afterwards and you'll be thankful for it 🔋 Horse - I met a cute brown horse as I made way way into the forest, he was quite the stallion 😊 🐎 Oxygen zone - walking by the fern plant community, you'll notice the unmistakable purity of the air around there. Pure air feels cooler, and like breathing in normal air after licking some menthol. Your skin cells would be happy you passed by too! 🌬 Monkeys! - Say hello to the monkeys, there are some young agile ones that keep jumping around in their cage(😔) There's a clearly raunchy male that did a cute mating walk show me he is the Alpha. I think his name is Alex. The tour guide would tell you Alex* dislikes to see men with women. There was a sensitive female. I held my hand out to a younger monkey that totally ignored it, the female reached out to hold my ignored hand, it was precious, then the little monkey suddenly got interested and was all over like 'me too!' 🐒 Eki forest - These trees hold years of evolution observed in silence. Pay homage to their resilence and wisdom. The walk through the forest is refreshing. Take a moment to 'forest bathe' a sign in the park would tell you that the Japanese have found forest bathing to be stress relieving and helpful for many health conditions, they call it Shirinyoku 🌳 Dam - What is nature without water? A calm dam awaits you here, you could sit and enjoy the serenity or you could walk the perimeter, while the surrounding plants sway softly in the cool breeze, serenading you. I did both and spent the better part of my stay here. There are fishes too! You could see them from across the railings 💧 Art! - Stop by the art gallery to enjoy some indigenous works 🎨 Symbols - This is understandbly a choice location for Nollywood shoots. You may see symbols on walls or on the ground that may be remnants from their stages 🔯

Beautiful. The ambience is amazing I saw Lake Moses, the monkeys and baboon. Amazing place.

  • 4/5 Hussein O. 2 years ago on Google
Best time to visit is just after the rainy season, that's when you get green lush vegetation and the lake has more water do you get a beautiful view. The place did not have a lot of animals (ones kept in cages) but that's okay. There are monkeys, squirrels, goats, donkeys and horses. The main highlight is the Ekki tree(red ironwood). It's a beautiful natural environment with lots of trees and vegetation. You can explore by yourself (that's what I did) without a tour guide because it has a well laid out path and directions of which way to go. I love the little lake shed. I also met and had a chat with the owner/founder, Desmond. I would be visiting again. He very proactive with keeping the place clean; he picked up litters himself. The place has a lot of trash bin but some people just don't use it. Please don't be one of those. Respect the environment.

I really had a great tym n fun. The place I really love was the lake Nora so beautiful. It also had a NYC oxygenated environment especially the ferm plant garden

  • 1/5 Gloriaa 2 years ago on Google
I was really looking forward to see the animals, birds etc usually mentioned by Mr Desmond on Nigeria info But I was really disappointed that I didn't see most of it and the place was really scanty. It would be nice if a small cage was created to put the animals by day so we can actually see them, then you can return them at night...... Imagine coming all the way ☹️

A forest reserve, you'll enjoy it if you're the type that enjoys peaceful environment. A little zoo with species of monkeys, water lakes, children playground, house ride, table tennis, football pitch and much more. An incredible place to be

  • 5/5 Engr. Chisom N. 2 years ago on Google
I totally enjoyed myself in this oasis and sanctuary of nature in city of concrete/steel. The pristine air, animals, trees and lakes as well as opportunities for games (football, basketball, table tennis and chess), a children playground, swings and raffia roofed meeting halls and art gallery were breathtaking. Let's I forget the forest bath spot is something else. My visit to the park was facilitated by my being the winner of 2021 "vulture poetry contest" that marks the 1st Saturday of September in every year as International Vulture Awareness Day (IVAD). Thanks #lovingnature

Serene environment for all types of outings (picnics, reunions, excursions, school party, etc). Rated 4 star cuz you kinda have to bring your food. No food available at the park just drinks.

It's very lovely. They have tour guides when you enter that tells you about the place. Endangered species that are kept alive there. And education about conservation. Overall lovely place to pass time and connect with family

Methinks that this park is only cool for those who want to shoot local movies.

  • 3/5 Nikky L. 1 year ago on Google
It was a serene place suitable for picnic with family and/or friends. The place is easily accessible with adequate parking space. There is a little playground for children with swings and other play things. They also have a small animal rescue centre where they keep few wild animals especially monkeys which the children might find fascinating. A solo traveller can also go there to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of Lagos, relax, reflect and meditate but if you are looking for activities or thrill, I don't think this place would do. Also entry fee for Adults is just #1000

  • 3/5 Jack Emmanuel O. 1 year ago on Google
It's okay. Quite a very spacious nature park with vegetations and trees of different kinds and a mini zoo. Although the place is cool, I feel a lot more could be done with the experience of the park so that one could have unforgettable memories other than just nice natural photo backgrounds.

Nature at its best. If you are one that loves Peace and solo moments visit here. I saw an interesting animal “the cervit cat” the tour guide said it’s poo is an essential formula for quality perfumes

For me, I loved my experience at "House of Ijoya" which is an African Cuisine located inside. The catfish pepper soup was great and that's just one of the many line ups.

Lufasi is a great place to go to when you want to clear your head, take in fresh air or exit the loudness of your environment. I had a great time there with my very good friend and I would like to go there some other day when I have the time. It's also a spot for family picnic, friend hangout or generally, company hangout. Although there are not many activities on the ground, it would be nice if you can create an itinerary of activities before coming so you don't get too bored, that's just how peaceful the environment is.
